The increasing online trading system through e-commerce and social media has triggered a group of people, as entrusted service agents, to take part in the trade of fashion and cosmetics products carried out by either individual or social communities. In an effort to support the success of this individual trading system, the entrusted service agents take advantage of social capital to establish social relationships to be part of the circle of transactions for either re-sellers or sellers. Social capital is a skill that is inherent in an individual to establish social relationships with others. Based on the results of the study, the entrusted service agents have the habit to gather with the hedonist community, such as socialites and groups of wealthy people who have a consumptive nature, in a hope that in the circle of social relations there will be a social structure in the pattern of circular communication to create massive personal trade transaction relationships.

We report a CAST analysis of a software project by a team across the primary and subcontractor companies focusing on a kind of safety, psychological safety. By using CAST, we can understand the context of the behaviours leading to the unintended event and avoid personal blames to keep psychological safety. The project was a software maintenance project, in which an online trading system went down in the production migration, the final phase before the system release. The end users had no damages in this case, but some members were going to lose respects from other members and stakeholders. The system down was caused by a defect, and the first investigation report simply blamed the subcontractor members related to the defect injection and leakage. The senior manager, who cares to build and maintain psychological safety in the team, wanted to conduct a deeper analysis to avoid personal blames. The CAST helped to uncover that process changes over time from the originally defined one contributed the injection and leakage of the defect. It turned out the process owner and manager at the primary contractor side had a part of the responsibility for the defect leakage. The senior manager made this conclusion shared among team members and succeeded to avoid losing psychological safety. We conclude the CAST based on STAMP is useful in analyzing issues of software project management such as psychological safety.

Nowadays, women use information technology to support their roles, both domestic and public. Women today still undergo gender inequality; the position of women in most situations is not only different but also inferior or unequal compared to men. This study used a qualitative descriptive approach to describe the occupational shift experienced by women to obtain equality through online business. Starting an online business is not a simple task for women. The struggle to master technology is not easy, since women should get familiar with softwares and hardwares. They should seek networks to obtain customers and strengthen their own business as well. Women should organize their online business, such as attaining capital, searching for models, looking for materials, mastering online trading system, and at the same time seeking out available opportunities. Through information technology, women working online begin to gain equal footing with men.

This research aims to examine the nexus between Earnings Response Coefficient (ERC), Sharia Online Trading System (SOTS), and firm value. The research sample was all companies listed on the Jakarta Islamic Index (JII). The research model used path analysis employing the regression with common, fixed and random effect models as well as the robustness check through Generalized Method of Moment (GMM). The result demonstrates that ERC and SOTS can’t determine the level of firm values. This research found no effects of ERC and SOTS on firm value, but nexus between ERC and SOTS was found. These findings indicate that ERC and SOTS have no effect at all on the firm value, meanwhile ERC has the negative effect on SOTS. Nevertheless, the result of this research found no intervening effect of SOTS on the ERC and firm Value. It shows that SOTS can’t mediate the nexus between ERC and firm value.
