<em>This research aimed at describing and explaining about (1) the discourse structure of review text on book review columns in Solopos Newspaper January-December 2017 edition; (2) the textual aspects of book review; (3) the contextual aspects of book review; (4) the relevance of book review columns in Solopos Newspaper January-December 2017 edition as the teaching materials of review text in Secondary Junior High Schools and in Secondary Senior High Schools. The type of this research is qualitative descriptive. The results of this research indicated that (1) the discourse structure of review text on book review columns included opening paragraph, contacting paragraph or content, and closing paragraph; (2) textual aspects supporting the completeness of book review were the topic of discourse, aspects of cohesion and coherence, and forms of words; (3) the contextual aspects on book review could be understood through four interpretive principles, namely: the principle of personal interpretation, the principle of local interpretation, the principle of temporal interpretation, and the principle of analogy; and (4) the results of this research also indicated that book review columns in Solopos Newspaper January-December 2017 edition could be used as the teaching materials of review text in Junior High Schools and Senior High Schools.</em>

This study aims to produce labanotation-based motion literacy teaching materials to diagnose the kinesthetic intelligence of students in junior high schools through e-learning. This research method uses a design procedure with validation of eligibility by six experts in the learning materials of labanotation-based motion literacy through qualitative e-learning. The level of agreement (reliability) among the six assessors can be explained by calculating the reliability coefficient between the assessors using the Intraclass Correlation Coefficient (by using the SPSS version 16 program assistance). The results of the study suggest thnis educational approach can be utilized by arts and culture teachers in dance learning, using learning media and communication media with students to discover kinesthetic intelligence in a fun way. This study aims to develop teaching materials for letter texts based on personal letters and letters from agencies in Brebes Regency. This research was carried out because there were still limited effective letter text textbooks that were developed and used in learning for VII graders in junior high school. The purpose of this research is to produce teaching material designs, obtain information about the feasibility of textbooks, and the effectiveness of the use of teaching materials in class VII SMP, and produce the final product of textbooks. To achieve this goal, the Research and Development (R&D) research method is used by using the ADDIE research model. Based on the results of the research that has been carried out it can be seen that the textbooks developed are very feasible and can be effectively used in learning for VII grade students in junior high schools.
