The main contribution of this paper is to show a new AC/DC converter based on the rearrangement of the flyback converter. The proposed circuit only manages part of the energy and the rest is delivered directly from the source to the load. Therefore, with the new topology, the efficiency is increased, and the stress of the components is reduced. The rearrangement consist of the secondary of the flyback is placed in parallel with the load, and this arrangement is connected in series with the primary side and the rectified voltage source. The re-arranged flyback is only a reductive topology and with no magnetic isolation. It was studied as a power supply for LEDs. A low frequency averaged analysis (LFAA) was used to determine the behavior of the proposed circuit and an equivalent circuit much easier to analyze was obtained. To validate the theoretical analysis, a design methodology was developed for the re-arranged flyback converter. The designed circuit was implemented in a 10 W prototype. Experimental results showed that the converter has a THDi = 21.7% and a PF = 0.9686.

The coordination control of a transmission system has gradually attracted more attention with the development of hybrid electric vehicles. However, nonlinear coupling of multiple power sources, superposition of different dynamic characteristics in multiple components, and withdrawal and intervention for a power-split powertrain with a two-speed automated manual transmission (AMT) gearbox can cause jerk and vibration of the transmission system during the shift, which has higher requirements and challenges for the overall performance improvement of the system. This paper designs a novel, robust, augmented H∞ shift control strategy for a power-split system with a two-speed AMT gearbox of a heavy commercial vehicle and verifies the strategy’s effectiveness with simulations and experiments. First, the dynamic plant model and kinetic equations are established, and the shift is divided into five stages to clearly reveal the jerk and vibration problem. Based on augmented theory, a robust H∞ shift control strategy is proposed. Shift coordination is transformed into a speed tracking problem, and state variable and disturbance are reconstructed to obtain a new augmented system. Simulation and hardware-in-the-loop test are carried out to verify the effectiveness of the strategy, which mainly includes simulation of pneumatic actuator and H∞ control strategy. Results show that the proposed H∞ control strategy can greatly reduce the jerk of the transmission system. The jerk produced by the proposed strategy is decreased from 20.4 to 4.07 m/s3, leading to a substantial improvement of 80%. Therefore, the proposed strategy may offer a theoretical reference for the actual vehicle controller during the shift.

The frequency of piezoelectric transducer requires high stability and can also be continuously changed. The voltage requires smooth and stable sine wave. To the two problems, a high precision power supply for vibration cutting is designed. It divides the whole frequency band into several small bands. By means of CPLD, the sine wave is digitally fitted individually at each small band. So the sine wave can be always suitable at a wide frequency band. At the power output, OCL power amplifier is adopted. The output sine voltage becomes smooth and stable by adding voltage negative feedback to the power amplifier. The experiment results show its feasibility.

Abstract Reducing the dependence of microgrid upon the communication system and realizing the efficient control of multiple distributed generation of the microgrid are problems that need to be solved urgently. Through the research, based on multiple microgrid operation modes, the peer-to-peer control strategy in microgrid is investigated, and the peer-to-peer control strategy method of microgrid is given for a variety of complex control problems of distributed power According to the peer-to-peer control strategy method, distributed power supply adopts droop control in adjusting distributed power supply in output voltage and frequency; the droop controller has P-f and Q-U droop characteristics. This paper establishes a peer-to-peer control microgrid simulation model, adopts the droop controller designed in this paper to island mode and grid-connected mode, and investigates how the microgrid switches between the two modes. In accordance with Matlab/Simulink simulation outcomes, the research examines frequency, voltage and power changes in distributed generation in the microgrid, and verifies the validity and feasibility of microgrid peer-to-peer control strategy.
