Abstract We have developed a process diagnostics system for photovoltaic energy modules based on standard methods and practices already developed for LSI and MEMS technologies. This paper provides a description of methods used to ensure the conformation of solar cell modules to the rigors of high-quality manufacturing necessary for reliable photovoltaic energy production when exposed to long-term environmental use. We have verified the possibility of inspecting each solar cell and the module assembly in detail for several photovoltaic technologies, specifically monocrystalline Si, polycrystalline Si, and CuInxGa1-xSe2 An objective set of criteria for the quality of each module can be provided by this method for use in module selection by consumers. Moreover, the quality of conformance and reliability data can be used as feedback to the manufacturer to minimize the number of defects created during manufacturing process and ameliorate their effects.

Abstract During the operation of large industrial installations, a very important task is to maintain the proper technical state. In the event of an emergency, it is vital to locate the place of occurrence as soon as possible. In solving this type of problem, it often helps to apply the methods of measurement associated with ionizing radiation. One of these methods is the gamma scanning. The purpose of this type of measurement is the detection and localization of disturbance of technological processes which may result in incorrect decomposition the fl owing medium and workpiece (sediments, congestion) as well as damage to the internal constructions. A particularly: (i) preventive diagnosis - early detection of installation failure; (ii) rationalization of repairs and renovations - to determine the need to take or not to take remedial action; (iii) quick and precise installation inspections - to gain knowledge of the technical condition and technological installations; (iv) indication of worn parts and posing a threat - diagnostics of the technical condition installation; (v) forecasting the useful lifetime of equipment.

The article deals with structural compounds of lecturer's rhetorical culture, its role in forming of professionaly oriented person. Lecturer's cultural and language literacy forms a style of pedagogical communication, a culture of his speaking behavior, and that exerts influence on learning process, on forming students' skills, on their personalities. The theoretical bases of diagnostics and determination of the results of the formation of professional competencies of language training lecturer`s for foreign citizens as the actual pedagogical problem in universities of technical profile were investigated and substantiated. In the conditions of socio-economic changes in Ukraine, the improvement of higher professional education system, in the process of introducing new requirements and standards of education, there are significant transformations in the system "lecturer-to-student". Changes in the first place concern perception of lecturer, the system of role expectations regarding the leading qualities of the lecturer changes. Strengthening the attention to the issues of diagnosing the level of proficiency of language training lecturers of professional competences, as a modern trend requires not only scientifically based tools for continuous measurement, analysis and improvement of evaluation of educational results of students' professional training, but also a new look at the system of pedagogical diagnostics. System diagnostics based on a competent approach should become a key and crosscutting component of monitoring the quality of vocational training of language training specialists in universities of technical profile.

Bangladesh lies in a tectonically active zone. Earlier geological studies show that Bangladesh and its adjoining areas are exposed to a threat of severe earthquakes. Earthquakes may have disastrous consequences for a densely populated country. This dictates the need for a detailed analysis of the situation prior to the construction of nuclear power plant as required by the IAEA standards. This study reveals the correlation between seismic acceleration and potential damage. Procedures are presented for investigating the seismic hazard within the future NPP construction area. It has been shown that the obtained values of the earthquake’s peak ground acceleration are at the level below the design basis earthquake (DBE) level and will not lead to nuclear power plant malfunctions. For the most severe among the recorded and closely located earthquake centers (Madhupur) the intensity of seismic impacts on the nuclear power plant site does not exceed eight points on the MSK-64 scale. The existing predictions as to the possibility of a super-earthquake with magnitude in excess of nine points on the Richter scale to take place on the territory of the country indicate the necessity to develop an additional efficient seismic diagnostics system and to switch nuclear power plants in good time to passive heat removal mode as stipulated by the WWER 3+ design. A conclusion is made that accounting for the predicted seismic impacts in excess of the historically recorded levels should be achieved by the establishment of an additional efficient seismic diagnostics system and by timely switching the nuclear power plants to passive heat removal mode with reliable isolation of the reactor core and spent nuclear fuel pools.

<p class="R-AbstractKeywords"><span lang="EN-GB">In Latvia so far there have not been made comprehensive studies to provide balance function diagnostics for people with disabilities, which would have to continue with further creation of appropriate system. However, Latvian researchers developed methods and technology for the rehabilitation and health improvement. At the same time it is also recognized that there is a lack of dedicated efficient and widely accessible for patients systems, equipment and tools to make balance function and dysfunction diagnostics, as well an improvement of the patients’ movement capabilities. This position paper gives a brief overview about the latest technical engineering solution trends and developments in the world, which could be suited and developed to create the conformable new, rather simple, accessible and cheap system. Such system will have to ensure the diagnostics of balance functions of the persons with disabilities and encourage them to use mentioned equipment for testing and training of their balance and movement functionality.</span></p>
