Small business enterprise have a significant contribution for Gross Domestic Product (GDP), however small business enterprise have a lack of manajerial skill, limited funds and marketing. This chapter highlights a case study involving research into the science of building teams. Accomplishment of mission goals requires team members to not only possess the required technical skills but also the ability to collaborate effectively. The authors describe a research project that aims to develop an automated staffing system. Any such system requires a large amount of personal information about the potential team members under consideration. Gathering, storing, and applying this data raises a spectrum of concerns, from social and ethical implications, to technical hurdles. The authors hope to highlight these concerns by focusing on their research efforts which include obtaining and using employee data within a small business.

To realize rapid detection and evaluation of environmental-related information of the outdoor environment, this paper presents a portable environmental information detection system based on multi-sensor integration, wireless communication technology and virtual instrument technology. It can realize real-time detecting and evaluating parameters of air, acoustic, water and soil. Meanwhile, it is also able to record the longitude and latitude value, map and pictures of the location that data acquired. Moreover, modular structure design is adopted in the system, so the data processing modular can be applied in other evaluation systems as an analysis tool. Also, new function modules can also be added in the system to meet the needs of more features.
