We propose a new method for lower process temperature and shorter process time of SPC. This method involves the induction of high frequency alternating magnetic field during crystallization annealing, referring this process as Alternating Magnetic Field Crystallization, AMFC. The processed films were characterized using UV spectroscopy to determine the incubation time, Raman spectroscopy for the degree of crystallization. We found that the kinetics of crystallization was greatly enhanced by alternating magnetic field. When we crystallized, in the case of SPC, annealing time is over 14 hours at 570°C. But in the case of AMFC, annealing time is only 20minutes at the same temperature.

After a study on the existing preheating scheme of vehicle engines, we propose to design an onboard electromagnetic preheating unit. Connected to 220v power, the unit may generate a high frequency alternating magnetic field through rectification and inversion. It will heat the engine cover directly and constantly to conduct heat to the engine and its oil so that the temperature rises up to meet the conditions for vehicles to start up.

Abstract A novel circuit topology of modified switched boost high frequency hybrid resonant inverter fitted induction heating equipment is presented in this paper for efficient induction heating. Recently, induction heating technique is becoming very popular for both domestic and industrial purposes because of its high energy efficiency and controllability. Generally in induction heating, a high frequency alternating magnetic field is required to induce the eddy currents in the work piece. High frequency resonant inverters are incorporated in induction heating equipment which produce a high frequency alternating magnetic field surrounding the coil. Previously this high frequency alternating magnetic field was produced by voltage source inverters. But VSIs have several demerits. So, in this paper, a new scheme of modified switched boost high frequency hybrid resonant inverter fitted induction heating equipment has been depicted which enhances the energy efficiency and controllability and the same is validated by PSIM.

Multifunctional theranostic systems are a recent important development of medical research. We combined the characteristics of near-infrared luminescent quantum dots and thermosensitive magnetoliposomes to develop a multifunctional nano-diagnostic material. This system is based on near-infrared magnetic thermosensitive liposomes, which encapsulate drugs and can control drug localization and release. After incubating cancer cells with the liposomes, the state of the cells was analyzed in real time by near-infrared imaging. Cell viability was significantly inhibited by heat treatment or alternating magnetic field treatment, which thus improved the anti-cancer properties of the liposomes. In the future, by combining near-infrared imaging technology and an external high-frequency alternating magnetic field, we could not only detect cancer cells noninvasively but also conduct image-guided treatments for cancer.
