The existence of a touch of technology on laboratory learning becomes another alternative as a supporter of laboratory learning. Different practitioner's wishes and intensity of relatively short laboratory practice which resulted in dissatisfaction in the implementation of a practicum. Thus, an intelligent learning alternative is needed. This intelligent learning aims to provide high-quality and high-performance training skills that can assist the practitioner in solving problems related to practicum materials. The intelligent learning system is a learning system that handles some student instruction without any intervention from a teacher.Alternative learning system that can support the creation of Intelligent Learning System is by Natural Language Processing (NLP) method. This final project provides an explanation of the creation and implementation of intelligent learning systems in the Object Oriented Programming Computer Laboratory. This system consists of several stages: parsing, similarity, stemming, Knowledge Base which is designed in an interactive form between praktikan and agent based dialoge based application. The success rate of this system in answering questions from praktikan session II is 88.75%.

At present, people have a tendency to carry out higher education in a distance mode due to their busy lifestyles. However, open and distance learning (ODL) educational organizations encounter difficulties when delivering laboratory experiments. This paper presents the development of an online laboratory platform as a solution. It can be used to deliver laboratory experiments, using electronic components and instruments such as a signal generator and oscilloscope. Students are able to perform experimental tasks remotely utilizing real equipment and components. The system users can view laboratory environments via a camera which provides a sense of reality. The platform provides facilities to customize and rebuild the laboratory experiments according to the requirements of the organization. It can also be utilized as a useful educational tool to acquire pre-experience before entering the real laboratory. Thestatistical analysis shows no significant difference between the face-to-face laboratory (FFL) and online remote laboratory (ORL) experimental results within a 95% confidence level. The system can enhance the existing open and distance learning system by sharing the resources in a flexible manner. This system reduces the difficulties that distance learning students encounter when participating in FFL sessions. It also reduces the number of FFL sessions and is helpful to working students. One of the main objectives of ODL is to provide a learning environment for those who missed the opportunity for higher education for a variety of reasons. This system will help to achieve this objective.

Internet-based learning systems, or e-learning, are widely available in institutes, universities, and industrial companies, hosting regular or continuous education programs. The dream of teaching and learning from anywhere and at anytime becomes a reality due to the construction of e-learning infrastructure. Traditional teaching materials and methods are shifting to the new paradigm. In higher education, laboratory work is playing an important role in the area of training students and helping students to absorb more knowledge. With the goal of bringing e-learning to the traditional laboratory experiment, in this chapter, we present an architecture for an online laboratory e-learning system to facilitate the design and deployment of lab-based courses for e-education. The chapter provides an overall view of the system design and implementation so the Internet-based laboratory can be easily integrated with the e-learning infrastructure.
