With a higher level of the information techonology application in weapon system, the comprehensive electric system becomes more and more complicated, bringing about higher requirements on equipment support. In this paper, the research is mainly targeted at the integrated electrical system for a certain air defense weapon system. The offline live testing plan is employed, and simulated field simulation technology, switch topology in different forms are intergrated throughout the research to complete the performance testing on the major electrical equipment, so as to test the equipment integrity. Research and development of the testing system provide a feasible design method and means of implementation for the performance testing and trouble diagonosis for electrical equipment of the new equipment.

For the purpse of meeting the needs of modern automobile parts and equipment test, a modular reconfigurable testing system for automobile parts and equipment was carried out. In the testing system, industrial computer as host computer performs human computer interaction, and the client computer is extended based on FPGA(Field Programmable Gate Array). FPGA excutes real-time task that can be configured according to mission requirements. The procedure of modular testing system which was designed with the Microsoft Visual C++ 6.0 is divided into human computer interaction and driver layer. The result showed that the system can be used for rapid design of auto parts and equipment testing system. The result of the present work implied that the reconfigurable testing system has good flexibility and expansibility.

The world practice of creating and modernizing specimens of armament and military equipment envisages carrying out numerous tests, checks and evaluations of the current technical conditions throughout the life cycle. This leads to the need for improvement of the test system, the regulatory framework of which is a system of standards. Updating the standards that regulate preparation and testing of new and modernized specimens of armament and military equipment, based on best international and domestic experience, at the moment is actual and perspective development direction of the standardization system in the sphere of defence. The purpose of the article is to analyze the ways of implementing NATO standards and determine the feasibility of their application “by the method of confirmation” in the armament and military equipment testing system. During the research general scientific methods of processing and systematization of information, in particular system analysis and synthesis of organizational and technical systems, were applied. The current state of the system of standardization of armament and military equipment in Ukraine was analyzed. It was determined that at present the military standardization system in the Ministry of Defence and the Armed Forces of Ukraine practically corresponds to the standardization system of NATO. It was established that one of the main tasks of military standardization is the transition to European and NATO standards. Analysis of these normative documents has revealed that the main requirements are consistent through the identity of standards, as well as through the adoption of national standards by the “method of confirmation”. A comparative analysis of NATO standards STANAG 4370 and military standards ГОСТ В revealed the presence of significant differences in the classification of military equipment, the requirements for stability, sustainability and durability to the influence of external factors. It was noted that in Ukraine there is lack of practice of dissemination and use of the normative documents in English adopted by the “method of confirmation”; there is also a shortage of qualified specialists on standardization with a sufficient language competence, as well as lack of common research vocabulary in the Armed Forces of Ukraine, harmonized with national and international terminological systems. It was established that for the development of standardization system of armament and military equipment, in particular for conducting tests, it is recommended to use NATO standards as an information base, taking into account the domestic experience of the standardization system in developing requirements for reliability and stability to the influence of external factors. It was recommended to carry out the introduction of NATO standards by method of reissue (adaptation, translation) with the assistance of Ukrainian specialists on military standardization.

SummaryJudgements of examinees’ health status by doctors and by the examinees themselves are compared applying multiple discriminant analysis. The doctors’ judgements of the examinees’ health status are studied comparatively using laboratory data and the examinees’ subjective symptom data. This data was obtained in an Automated Multiphasic Health Testing System. We discuss the health conditions which are significant for the judgement of doctors about the examinees. The results show that the explanatory power, when using subjective symptom data, is fair in the case of the doctors’ judgement. We found common variables, such as nervousness, lack of perseverance etc., which form the first canonical axis.

Abstract A fatigue testing system is established with which the real-time recording of stress, strain, temperature, and hysteresis loss of rubbers or cord-rubber composite specimens subjected to periodic loading or extension can be successfully carried out. Several problems are connected with the experimental study of the fatigue of rubber composites. In constant extension cycling, the specimen becomes relaxed because of the viscoelasticity of rubber composites, and the imposed tension-tension deformation becomes complex. In this method, the specimen is unlikely to fail unless the imposed extensions are very large. Constant load cycling can avoid the shortcomings of constant extension cycling. The specially designed clamps ensure that the specimen does not slip when the load retains a constant value. The Deformation and fatigue damage accumulation processes of rubber composites under periodic loading are also examined. Obviously, the effect of cycle frequency on the fatigue life of rubber composites can not be ignored because of the viscoelasticity of constituent materials. The increase of specimen surface temperature is relatively small in the case of 1 Hz, but the temperature can easily reach 100°C at the 8 Hz frequency. A method for evaluating the fatigue behavior of tires is proposed.

The International English Language Testing System (IELTS) is recognized as an accountable tool to assess whether aperson is able to study or train in English. Every year, thousandsof students sit for IELTS. However, the number of those who arerecognized to be capable enough to take a course in English issomehow limited, especially for those who are not major inEnglish at their universities.IELTS Reading is considered as a discerning skill and it is of theequal importance to listening, speaking and writing in obtainingthe objectives of IELTS of band 6 or 6.5. Being teachers of Englishat a training institution, the authors recognize that students canmake time-saving improvements in their reading command undertheir teachers’ insightful guidance.
