In the actual production process in plane grinder, they often encounter processing with angle plane, and so with angle plane in the grinding before we must locate the workpiece, but in reality the plane grinding machine in the production process is the lack of it can accurately locate the workpiece tool, Therefore, in view of the above in the processing of the existence of the problem, research and design a new type of movable angle cursor positioning ruler, the following discusses the structure design.

Abstract This paper introduced a new type of an active suspension named as In-Arm Torsional Electromagnetic Active Suspension (ITEAS) according to its suspension characteristics. The proposed ITEAS is capable of actively controlling body attitude and adjusting the stiffness and damping of a suspension system in a larger scale. The structure of the ITEAS system is composing of a mechanical displacement adjustment device, a two-chamber vane damper connected by an electromagnetic valve, two torsion bars and necessary connection units such as trailing arms. Based on the hydraulic theory and fluid mechanics, the mathematical model of the vane damper was established and the external characteristic curve of the damper was obtained through the simulations. Regarding to the ITEAS stiffness and damping analysis, a quarter dynamic vehicle model was established and simulated by the AMESim platform. The results showed that the automobile ride based on the ITEAS system was reasonable as well as the functions of body height adjustment and suspension controllability were available. Thereafter, a small-scale prototype has been built to calibrate the unknown parameters for further research on ITEAS.

A new heat exchange pipe—heat exchanger inserted by disturbance device has been introduced. By applying commercial software—Fluent, the heat transfer and the flow performance of the heat exchanger which is a three-dimension numerical simulation in which the medium is air have been simulated, With simulation analysis of flow field in the heat exchanger, the enhanced transfer mechanism has been got; Using the heat transfer efficiency j/f, nine different models with different bending curvature and column spacing have been analyzed. Through analyzing the impact of the heat transfer and the flow performance on different bending curvature and column spacing, the best combination is achieved. Providing a certain theoretical basis, for research and design new type of heat exchanger pipes.

Pervasive games are a new type of digital games that combines game and physical reality within the gameplay. This novel game type raises unprecedented research and design challenges for developers and urges the exploration of new technologies and methods to create high quality game experiences and design novel and compelling forms of content for the players. This chapter follows a systematic approach to explore the landscape of pervasive gaming. First, the authors approach pervasive games from a theoretical point of view, defining the four axes of pervasive games design, introducing the concept of game world persistency, and describing aspects of spatially/temporally/socially expanded games. Then, they present ten pervasive game projects, classified in five genres based on their playing environment and features. Following that, the authors present a comparative view of those projects with respect to several design aspects: communication and localization, context and personal awareness aspects, information model, player equipment, and game space visualization. Last, the authors highlight current trends, design principles, and future directions for pervasive games development.

When the tank is rotating together with load, the hydraulic oil surface in the tank will be higher at one side than another. In this paper, the shape of oil surface will be theoretical calculated and simulated by MATLAB. In order to reduce the load imbalance, a new type of oil tank was designed to reduce gravitational torque and rotary inertia caused by the height difference of oil liquid. It also designed a new oil filter net to filter impurities.

In this paper a new type shield cutter wear detection method based on ultrasonic thickness measurement theory was presented. Its working principle was introduced. Its hardware and software were designed. Compared with the existing detection methods, the new method is more accurate and more intuitive, and the method can also provide technical support for the project very well.
