Background/Objectives: This paper investigated and analyzed the phenomena in implementing the curriculum and characteristics of an entrepreneurship education model existing technology-driven agri-food industry. Methods/Statistical analysis: The line-by-line coding method of grounded theory approach by Strauss & Corbin was applied for this study and the collected data was analyzed with the NVIVO 12 program from QSR which is a tool for analyzing quality comparative analysis for better efficiency in open coding. Findings: The contents and the design of education are drawn from founders who are participants of the education, education supply organizations and lecturers and traits in an education model were derived by analyzing the structural relationship between them. This study reveals that entrepreneurial education with contextual knowledge in the agri-food industry strengthens achievements in boosting up competitiveness for industry, local areas, sales and enhancing the field response-ability. Yet, unbalanced educational contents can be caused by a biased education devoted to technologies only for production and cultivation and a lack of diversity and professionalism. Phenomena in implementing curriculum and characteristics of an education model also reveal a lack of support for educational institutions and trainees and unsatisfactory of overall administration system due to an insufficient post management system. In this paper, an essential education contents needed by the agri-food sector entrepreneur are related to information competency enhancement.

Hearing-impaired children’s chances of integrating into hearing society largely depend on their parents, who need to learn vast amounts of science knowledge in the field of hearing. This study characterized the role played by science knowledge in the lives of nonscientists faced with science-related decisions by examining the interactions between general science knowledge, contextual science knowledge in the field of hearing, and parents’ advocacy knowledge and attitudes. Based on six semi-structured interviews and 115 questionnaires completed by parents of hearing-impaired children, contextual science knowledge emerged as the only predictor for having slightly better advocacy attitudes and knowledge (5.5% explained variance). Although general science knowledge was the best predictor of contextual knowledge (14% of explained variance), it was not a direct predictor of advocacy knowledge and attitudes. Science knowledge plays some role in the lives of hearing-impaired families, even if they do not list it as a resource for successful rehabilitation.

This paper presents a model for learning in an educational leadership preparation program. The model depicts various types of teaching and learning strategies that should be included in preparation programs in order for students to learn declarative, procedural, and contextual knowledge. Specifically, the paper describes four types of problem-based learning (PBL). Grounded in research on group problem solving, reflective thinking, problem complexity, and feedback and assessment, PBL has considerable potential to increase the transfer of learning. The paper maintains that real and simulated PBL afford students opportunities to learn all three types of knowledge. Two examples capturing the process of how PBL can be used are offered.

Ethnomusicology has often had an ambivalent relationship with technology: we owe our discipline to mid-twentieth-century developments in recording technology. Nevertheless there is a strong counter-modern streak that characterizes ethnomusicologists as a group. This essay investigates the reasons for ethnomusciologists’ mistrust of certain kinds of music technology and interprets ambivalence as a mode of critical engagement. It surveys turning points in the field from comparative musicology to the critical turn and from the critical turn to the new digital humanities. I conclude that digital humanities needs ethnomusicological ambivalence in the form of critical engagement. Good data analytics needs a skeptical view from the vantage point of music scholars and contextual knowledge-bearers in the cultures of study.

Abstract. The aim of this research is to classify urban land cover types using an advanced classification method. As the input bands to the classification, the features derived from Landsat 8 and Sentinel 1A SAR data sets are used. To extract the reliable urban land cover information from the optical and SAR features, a rule-based classification algorithm that uses spatial thresholds defined from the contextual knowledge is constructed. The result of the constructed method is compared with the results of a standard classification technique and it indicates a higher accuracy. Overall, the study demonstrates that the multisource data sets can considerably improve the classification of urban land cover types and the rule-based method is a powerful tool to produce a reliable land cover map.

Contextual knowledge is the most important aspect of language comprehension. We define contextual knowledge as both general knowledge and discourse knowledge, i.e., knowledge of the situational context, background knowledge, and co-textual context. In this paper, we will discuss the significance of contextual knowledge in comprehending the humor found in Amul's cartoon advertisements in India. Throughout the process, we will analyze these advertisements and determine whether humor is an effective tool for advertising and, as a result, marketing. These bilingual advertisements also assume that the audience has the necessary linguistic knowledge, such as vocabulary, morphology, and syntax in English and Hindi. Various techniques such as punning, portmanteaus, and parodies of popular proverbs, expressions, acronyms, famous dialogues, songs, and so on are used to convey the message humorously. The current study will focus on these linguistic cues and the necessary context for understanding wit and humor. This study will also employ semiotics and sign methodology to analyze the message provided by the cartoons. According to the research findings, cartoons serve two purposes: political communication and advertising; however, advertising is camouflaged and not placed in an obvious manner.
