Siddha is considered to be one of the oldest medicines with its own benefits. In this modern era, people are more aware towards their health. At many circumstances of illness, people use Siddha medicines to cure their disease. Siddha is preferred for its own specialties. This paper has attempted to reveal the awareness towards Siddha medicines taking 52 respondents from Dharmapuri City. The results were analysed by using various statistical techniques like percentage analysis, chi-square and t test. Siddha focuses on the eight supernatural powers called as ‘Ashtaamahasiddhi’ and those who achieved these powers were known as siddhars. Hence it is called as siddha medicine. The siddhars knowledge was found in palm leaf manuscripts and their fragments were found in some parts of south India.

This study aimed to analyze and compare differences in occupational stress, depressive symptoms, work ability and working environment among residents working in various medical specialties. Occupational stress will result in decreasing the efficiency and increasing the occupational hazards inside and outside the work environment.It have been introduced as the most important ones for job stress in nursing is equipment and medicine shortages, lack of standard equipment, inappropriate physical environment of hospital, disease transmission, lack of timely medical attendance, and poor communication with co-workers. In occurrence of emergency situations, conflict with the authorities, work rotation, and frequent change of tasks are among the stressful factors for nurses. Hence, conducting a qualitative study in this regard can help to clarify the stress factors in medical field.

The objective of this paper is to find out the consumer awareness and influence towards Jaisuryas Departmental Stores in Salem City. A total of 48 consumers of Jaisuryas Departmental Store were surveyed in the two branches of Jaisuryas Departmental Stores at Salem city. Descriptive analysis and Chi-Square were implemented in the study. The result depicts the level of awareness and the various factors which affects the consumer character and behaviour towards the Departmental Stores. This paper reveals the secret of successful retailing such as good quality products, lowest prices and guaranteed satisfaction and overall a pleasant shopping experience will help the departmental stores to achieve great success in retail industry.

The global trend towards the use of fair value accounting is increasing, so the current study aimed to maximize the impact of fair value application on achieving relevance and representation faithfulness of accounting information in accordance with the common conceptual framework. To achieve the objective of this study, the researcher has determined in the theoretical framework the relationship of fair value with the characteristics of relevance and representation faithfulness of accounting information and the extent of achieving these characteristics, as well as conducting a field study by preparing a questionnaire distributed to a sample of academics (50) and auditors (50) with a total number of selected participants (100) of academics and auditors.

Social media is one of the most popular, effective, and accessible means for the communication of information in today’s globalized world. Harnessed as a tool for marketing, it can help exponentially expand businesses by instantly spreading the word about their products and services to countless existing and potential customers. The aim of this research is to study the influence of social media in promoting tourism and hospitality in Jordan. Data were gathered using an online Google Form questionnaire sent out to nearly 150 respondents via WhatsApp and analysed via quantitative methods using SPSS 20.0.
