Urban logistics decision makers face serious challenges in trying to make urban freight transport (UFT) efficient and sustainable. Therefore, it is necessary to identify best practices (BPs) to promote improvements on activity levels, modal shifts to lower-carbon transport systems, lowering energy and intensity, and reducing fuel carbon intensity. This paper conducts an exhaustive literature review that seeks to identify that are directly applicable to BPs promoting sustainable UFT and that indicate the opportunities and challenges of urban logistics. The results indicate that, although BPs make sense for themselves, the most powerful effect occurs when two or more of them are used together, multiplying their strengths. Furthermore, there is an expressive participation of environmental and economic indicators (costs and service levels) to the detriment of social indicators, thus indicating a literary gap.

Traffic incidents (such as broken-down vehicles, accidents, flat tires and other) constitute an important concern in the urban context, impacting the sustainable development. Thus, currently, the proposition of efficient traffic incident management systems has been encouraged to re-establish road safety and restore the network's traffic capacity. Thus, this paper aims to investigate the main impacts of traffic incidents and elaborate a logical structure of actions that should be employed to improve their management. The results show that many impacts can be identified in the three spheres of sustainable development and improvement actions must accelerate responses to emergencies, invest in Intelligent Transportation System (ITS), develop urban planning with a focus on more roads secure and enforce existing laws and regulations.

COVID-19 demands a paradigm shift in modes of human interaction and challenges hegemonic social structures to adapt and evolve themselves to the altered reality of human existence. Across the world, these shifts have been triggered by the new social order threatening to erase existing social systems. My paper attempts to look at the lives of the precariats, caught up within neoliberal structures, assuming these structures to be hegemonic normative systems, and the manner in which they refuse to change, thereby putting the precariats into a more exploitative crisis situation, dehumanizing them, demonizing them, thereby risking their erasure from the socio-political and legal systems that rule the world. I have used the context of India to substantiate my argument. My paper is divided into the following sections: a reading into the concept of precarity and contextualizing it in the neoliberal framework, analysing the pandemic against precarity using examples from Indian society.

In appropriate activation of c-MYC proto-oncogene contributes to the development of human cancers. Searches for therapies that target genes and proteins related to neoplastic phenotypes have become frequent. Therefore, inhibiting c-MYC expression has been the target for developing and testing multiple drugs and strategies for the treatment of various human cancers. This study aimed to map scientific and technological productions on the MYC gene at the Scielo, PubMed and Orbit Intelligence platforms between 2000 and 2019. The scientific prospecting revealed 1,259 articles. The most detected categories were: molecular biology, MYC mutations and those addressing the MYC as a drug target or therapeutic strategies. A progressive increase in the number of articles in this last category was found. Technological mapping detected 10,059 patent documents, with 20.2% granted. China and the USA were the largest filers, accounting for more than 40%. Biotechnology was the field with the highest number of patents. Biotechnology and the pharmaceutical sector predominated in the second half of the period investigated, both in scientific and technological prospecting. Our study points to a scientific and technological effort in the development of therapeutic strategies against cancer, in which MYC is among the main targets.

The purpose of the study was to determine the impact of emotional advertising on customer purchasing behaviour. High-end items, particularly garment companies, are the focus of research. It also intends to investigate the most effective advertising appeal for influencing customer purchase decisions. The question mark-based survey was done with a sample size of 150 respondents, and their reactions to various attractions such as love, joy, and excitement were recorded. Hypothetical models have been validated through the use of hypothetical analysis and structural equation modelling (SEM). The findings demonstrate that pleasant emotions such as love, laughter, and happiness have a beneficial influence on customer purchasing intentions. This study supports the favourable relationship between emotional advertising and consumer purchasing behaviour when it comes to clothing companies.

Verbal autopsy is one of the finest medical process to identify automatically the cause of a death afore medical ascendant entities will certify it. Identifying the exact cause is intricate and fuzzy in nature. The dataset with an exact cause of death is a paramount implement for every country to make the presage about the life style and medical facilities available to the people. Multinomial logistic regression was utilized in our study to relegate the exact cause of death. We used standard datasets like PHMRC and Matlab which were potentially accepted in medical field. The reason to utilize the Multinomial logistic Regression is that most of the dataset is consisting of 0 and 1 values which betoken the presence and absence of value in the attribute. We used three standard metrics like the sensitivity, Chance Corrected Concordance (CCC) and Cause-specific mortality fraction (CSMF) for a comparison of our model with precedent models like Insilico VA, Tariff and InterVA-4. Computed results show that proposed model is better than the precedent models.

The sea is of paramount importance in the life of man and peoples. Since ancient times, it has represented a tool for communication between nations, a link for civilizational meeting between them, and a source of sustenance. Man’s need and interest in exploiting this wealth moves his curiosity and ambitions to think and search for means that contribute and help in expanding the scope of maritime exploitation and consolidating relations between countries more and more. The maritime field was among the important areas touched by industrial and technological development, especially in the field of maritime transport, which led to the emergence of giant ships capable of embarking on sea voyages and thus moving foreign trade in a positive way. The aim of the research is to know the extent to which ship hull insurance is related to the liquidity and profitability of the National Insurance Company, and where the main research problem is manifested in the extent to which ship hull insurance is linked to the liquidity and profitability of the National Insurance Company. Only the research relied on the questionnaire as a tool for all data and information from the sample of 64 and those who have responsibility are (General Director, Department Director, Division Officer, Unit Officer) and the statistical program was used spss 21 in the calculation standard deviation, simple linear regression, testF ) R² (. The conclusions reached by the research are the evaluation of the degree of risk surrounding the ship and the evaluation of the degree of classification in the classification record is based on which the insurance price for the structures of marine vessels is determined, which shows that the degree of risk varies up and down according to the type of ship, origin, shipping lines, and the experience of the crew and the master. The results of the study also showed the existence of a strong correlation between the liquidity variable and profitability in the respondents' response to the research sample in the National Insurance Company, as there is no profitability without the presence of liquidity and good liquidity expresses the company's ability to meet the payment of its obligations. (*) An extracted thesis, which is part of the requirements for obtaining a higher diploma equivalent to a master’s degree. There are also a number of recommendations, including; Adoption of a unified plan for all insurance branches. To measure the liquidity risk in order to ensure that the company is protected from bankruptcy or its exit from the insurance market in the event of a financial crisis again.
