The present study attempts to establish the association between Quality of Work Life (QWL) and job satisfaction among the veterinary doctors of Punjab. Multiple linear regression analysis has been employed to examine how far the factors of QWL identified with the help of factor analysis affect the job satisfaction. Job satisfaction is a dependent variable and factors, Monetary Consideration, Social Relations at Work, Constitutionalism at Work, Pride in Job, Facilitation for Current Performance and Future Growth, Nature of Job, Security and Safety, Innovative and Challenging Job, Fair and Unbiased Attitude of Top Officials, Less Educated and Ignorant Clients, Space and Infrastructure, Insufficient Diagnostic Facilities and Staff, and Reporting are independent variables. The results of the present study reveal strong association of Monetary Consideration, Facilitation for Current Performance and Future Growth, Security and Safety, Nature of Job, and Space and Infrastructure with job satisfaction. The eight variables which were not found significant include, Social Relations at Work, Constitutionalism at Work , Pride in Job, Innovative and Challenging Job, Fair and Unbiased Attitude of Top Officials, Less Educated and Ignorant Clients, Insufficient Diagnostic Facilities and Staff, and Reporting. The present study conducted on veterinarians working under department of animal husbandry, Punjab can make a niche in this area. Commitment on the part of government and department itself to work on the activities and initiatives which promote QWL and job satisfaction of the respondents can create a sound and harmonious working environment to get the desired results.

Objective - This study aims to determine and analyze the influence of Occupational Health and Safety, and the Working Environment on Employee Performance with Job Satisfaction as a mediating variable in PT. Kereta Api Indonesia (Persero) with sample on DAOP I Jakarta. Methodology/Technique - The study population numbered 292 employees and 75 respondents be adopted as a sample of the study. Techniques of analysis using a statistical test structural equation model-based variance (SmartPLS). Findings – The results showed that, (1) Occupational Health and Safety had no effect on Job Satisfaction and Employee Performance, (2) the Work Environment had a positive and significant effect on Job Satisfaction and Employee Performance (3) Job Satisfaction has a positive and significant effect on Employee Performance, (4) Occupational Health and Safety has no effect on Employee Performance even though through Job Satisfaction mediation, (5) the Work Environment has a positive and significant effect on Employee Performance through mediation of Job Satisfaction, (6) Occupational Health and Safety, and the Work Environment simultaneously have a positive and significant effect on Job Satisfaction with the coefficient of determination, which is equal to 0,533, (7) Occupational Health and Safety, Work Environment, and Job Satisfaction simultaneously have a positive effect and significant to Employee Performance with coefficient of determination, which is equal to 0,890. Novelty - The company is expected to provide adequate rest periods, maintain the nutritional intake of its employees by providing healthy food, provide educational scholarships for further levels for employees, safeguard the work environment from chemical hazards and other hazards, and give positive motivation to the employees.  This paper is concerned with the examination of the impact of quality of work life for job satisfaction in Nepalese commercial banks. To achieve the purpose of the study, structured questionnaire is prepared and collected from 225 respondents. Descriptive and casual comparative research design have been used in this study. The multiple regression model has been used to test the relationship. The results show that working environment, work life balance, compensation and reward, training and development, and job design are positively related to job satisfaction. The regression result shows that the beta coefficients for all variables are positive and significant with job satisfaction.

The quality of nurses’ work has a direct effect on patient health, and poor sleep has been positively associated with nurses’ medical errors. The aim of this study was to investigate the relationship between quality of sleep and heart rate variability (HRV) among female nurses. A descriptive cross-sectional correlational study design was used in January 2014 to study female nurses (n = 393) employed in a medical center in Taiwan. Data were obtained from several questionnaires. HRV was analyzed with five-minute recordings of heart rate signals obtained using a Heart Rater SA-3000P. Approximately 96% of the participants self-reported a poor quality of sleep. Compared to non-shift nurses, significant decreases were found in total power (TP) and low-frequency HRV among shift-work nurses. However, negative correlations were found between sleep quality and HRV, including total power, low frequency, and the low frequency/high frequency ratio (r = −0.425, p < 0.05; r = −0.269, −0.266, p < 0.05). In a stepwise multiple regression analysis, 23.1% of variance in quality of sleep can be explained by TP and heart rate. The sleep quality of female nurses was poor and this affected their autonomic nervous system, which can contribute unfavorable consequences for their health.

Teachers play a crucial role in society. They serve as an important workforce in every community. They can dramatically impact the degree and quality of learning of the students. Considering the significant functions they perform worldwide, factors that influenced their job satisfaction was explored in this research. This study involves 75 teachers, ages 20 to 55 years old from the School of Saint Anthony in Lagro, Quezon City. The researchers examined the factors that motivate teachers to work in school. Another purpose of this study is to analyze how to improve the job satisfaction of teachers. The result of the survey revealed that the factors that can motivate and influence the teachers in their job satisfaction are working with the students, colleagues, a good working environment, fringe benefits, and salary. The findings of this research study support the view of Abraham Maslow’s Hierarchy of Needs and Frederick Herzberg’s Two Factory Theory. The findings revealed that external rewards like the salary and working environment are not the main motivating factors for teachers to work in school. Rather, the result suggests that teachers are intrinsically motivated. Their job satisfaction came from realizing the higher level of psychological needs such as the nature of the work itself, responsibility, achievement, recognition, and advancement.

Considering the fact that in all of the organization including education organization quality of work life today has found a special place, because this reason lack and vacuum of working life quality cause employees have not spirit that they should have to work, and this leads to job satisfaction and ultimately employee productivity reduce and working environment and career seem hollow. So in this research tried to assess the relationship between work life quality and job satisfaction in Education Organization of Tehran. This research was conducted in period is July and August 2015. The research method is descriptive and correlational and the study population included all employees in the Education Organization 10 District of Tehran. The total number is 100 people. That according to Cochran formula was calculated sample size of over 79 people. In this study, for the data analysis, descriptive and inferential statistical methods such as Kolmogorov - Smirnov correlation test was used. The study results showed that 8 independent variable of this research significantly have significant relationship with dependent variable job satisfaction.

Introduction: Improvement of the quality of health care and patients' satisfaction during their hospitalisation depends on many interconnected factors.Aim: This research study intends to investigate four aspects of the nursing environment (autonomy, relationships between doctors and nurses, commanding support and checking working conditions) and the effect they have on nursing care.Material and Methods: The study sample consists of 127 public hospital nurses with a mean age of 45 years (SD = 6.8 years). The questionnaire which was used was based on the revised version of NURSING WORK INDEX-REVISED (NWI-R).  Data analysis was performed by the statistical package SPSS 19.0.Results: Of the total sample, 72.4% of participants agree that supervisors support their staff and 60.6% thinks that there is support from nurses for the decisions of their colleagues. Also 10.3% agree that there are enough resources that allow them to spend time with patients, while 65.3% claims that they spend their personal time on different duties. Furthermore, correlation was detected among the aspects of autonomy, relationships between doctors and nurses and ''Control over the practice setting''. The workplace affects the autonomy's percentages (p<0.020), control of working conditions (p<0.004) and was related to organisational support (p<0.020). According to the above, nurses due to lowest direction's rating have less satisfaction from their research (p<0.004).Conclusion: The nurses’ job satisfaction is significantly related to the ‘’autonomy’’ factor and affects the quality of care provided to the patient. By investing in actions and practices that increase autonomy ,improve the control of working conditions as well as the cooperation between nurses and doctors and by increasing organisational support for the employee, there is significant improvement of the quality of nursing care and increased job satisfaction.
