The article considers the role of trust in the economy, the mechanisms of its accumulation and the possibility of using it as one of the growth factors in the future. The advantages and disadvantages of measuring the level of generalized trust using two alternative questions — about trusting people in general and trusting strangers — are analyzed. The results of the analysis of dynamics of the level of generalized trust among Russian youth, obtained within the study of the Institute for National Projects in 10 regions of Russia, are presented. It is shown that there are no significant changes in trust in people in general during the study at university. At the same time, the level of trust in strangers falls, which can negatively affect the level of trust in the country as a whole, and as a result have negative effects on the development of the economy in the future. Possible causes of the observed trends and the role of universities are discussed. Also the question about the connection between the level of education and generalized trust in countries with different quality of the institutional environment is raised.

AbstractThe dynamics of molecules in solution is usually quantified by the determination of timescale-specific amplitudes of motions. High-resolution nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) relaxometry experiments—where the sample is transferred to low fields for longitudinal (T1) relaxation, and back to high field for detection with residue-specific resolution—seeks to increase the ability to distinguish the contributions from motion on timescales slower than a few nanoseconds. However, tumbling of a molecule in solution masks some of these motions. Therefore, we investigate to what extent relaxometry improves timescale resolution, using the “detector” analysis of dynamics. Here, we demonstrate improvements in the characterization of internal dynamics of methyl-bearing side chains by carbon-13 relaxometry in the small protein ubiquitin. We show that relaxometry data leads to better information about nanosecond motions as compared to high-field relaxation data only. Our calculations show that gains from relaxometry are greater with increasing correlation time of rotational diffusion.

Micro-milling is one of the most essential technologies to produce micro components, but due to the size effect, it has many special characteristics and challenges. The process can be characterised by strong vibrations, relatively large run-out and tool deformation, which directly affects the quality of the machined surface. This paper deals with a detailed investigation of the influence of cutting parameters on surface roughness and on the special characteristics of micro-milled surfaces. Several systematic series of experiments were carried out and analysed in detail. A five-axis micromachining centre and a two fluted, coated carbide micro-milling tool with a diameter of 500 µm were used for the tests. The experiments were conducted on AISI H13 hot-work tool steel and Böhler M303 martensitic corrosion resistance steel with a hardness of 50 HRC in order to gain relevant information of machining characteristics of potential materials of micro-injection moulding tools. The effect of the cutting parameters on the surface quality and on the ratio of Rz/ Ra was investigated in a comprehensive cutting parameter range. ANOVA was used for the statistical evaluation. A novel method is presented, which allows a detailed analysis of the surface profile and repetitions, and identify the frequencies that create the characteristic profile of the surface. The procedure establishes a connection between the frequencies obtained during the analysis of dynamics (forces, vibrations) of the micro-milling process and the characterising repetitions and frequencies of the surface.

The main trends in changing the land use structure in the territory of the Klyazma River basin were de-scribed in the article. Using GIS technologies and remote sensing data the areas of land with different land use regimes in the studied territory were determined in the period from 2001 to 2019. The indices of LAI and FPAR phytoproductivity for the territory of the Klyazma basin as a whole, and for each basin included in it were determined. The analysis of the dynamics of changes occurring in the structure of land use is carried out. For the territory of Vladimir region, which is a part of the Klyazma River basin, an assessment of soil types distribution over occupied area was carried out. An integral indicator of soil fertility was calcu-lated on the basis of statistical data of agrochemical indicators. The fraction of fallow lands decreased by 2019 and it amounts 33.76% of the total area of the studied territory. The fraction of mixed forests increased from 38.48% in 2001 to 44.50% in 2019 due to the formation of fast-growing tree species shoots on fallow lands. The area of meadow vegetation for the period from 2015 to 2019 decreased by 3.5%, from 4 276 to 3 121 km2, due to agriculture degradation and a significant decrease in livestock grazing. The indicator of soil fertility for the Klyazma basin was 0.74, which is a high indicator. It is established that the most active decrease in the agricultural land area occurs in the central, north-western and western parts of the river basin.
