Two-Degree-of Freedom Control Using H∞ and ANVC to Reduce the Vibration of Vehicle Engine-Body System
Abstract This paper presents a two-degree-of freedom (2DOF) controller, which is combined a feedback (FB) controller with feedforward (FF) controller, to control the vibration of vehicle engine-body system. The robust feedback controller is designed by H∞ theory to attenuate the influence of engine vibration disturbance by modelling the vehicle engine-body system as nominal four-degree-of freedom vibration system with unmodelled disturbance. Based on filtered-X LMS algorithm, an active noise and vibration control is used in a feedforward controller to improve control performance further. To demonstrate the effectiveness of the control scheme, we have made some experiments in an experimental device, which is designed to imitate a real vehicle engine-body system.
