In this work, manifestations of IR luminescence sensitization of Indocyanine Green during conjugation with colloidal Ag2S quantum dots with average size of 2.2 and 3.7 nm, passivated with thioglycolic acid molecules (Ag2S/TGA QDs) are studied using absorption and luminescence techniques. The possibility of enhancing luminescence in the dye monomer band (820 nm) under excitation of 660 nm by a factor of 6 in the presence of Ag2S/TGA QDs (2.2 nm) due to a decrease in the dye polymethine chain due movement via coordination interaction with quantum dots was demonstrated. The way to switch-over from the first therapeutic window of biological tissue transparency (NIR-I, 700-950 nm) to the second (NIR-II, 1000-1700 nm), based on sensitization of IR luminescence of Ag2S/TGA QDs with an average size of 3.7 nm in the region of 1040 nm due to of resonance non-radiative transfer of excitation energy from Ag2S/TGA (2.2 nm) QDs at 900 nm to Ag2S/TGA QDs (3.7 nm) via the J-aggregate of ICG dye, which acts as an exciton bridge.

Hybrid associates formed from colloidal Zn0.5Cd0.5S quantum dots, passivated with thioglycolic acid, europium tenoyltrioteracetonate and methylene blue molecules, absorption, luminescence, IR and time-resolved spectroscopy technique are studied. The shift of the IR absorption bands of COO- and C=O groups of thioglycolic acid and europium thenoyltrifluoroacetonate has been detected. An increase in the efficiency of excitation of europium luminescence and a simultaneous increase lifetime of its luminescence upon adsorption on Zn0.5Cd0.5S quantum dots were found. Addition of methylene blue (thionine) molecules leads to quenching of the trap state luminescence of Zn0.5Cd0.5S and intracentric luminescence of Eu3+. A conclusion about the adsorption of Eu3+ on the surface of Zn0.5Cd0.5S quantum dots and the nonradiative energy transfer to methylene blue molecules was made.

The purpose of our study was to develop methods for creating hybrid nanostructures based on colloidal Ag2S quantum dots, pyramidal silver nanoparticles, Au nanorods, and to determine the spectral-luminescent manifestations of exciton-plasmon interactions in these structures. The objects of the study were Ag2S quantum dots passivated with thioglycolic acid (Ag2S/TGA QDs) and 2-mercaptopropionic acid (Ag2S/2-MPA QDs), gold nanorods (Au NRs), silver nanoparticles with pyramidal geometry (Ag NPs), and their mixtures. The spectral properties were studied using a USB2000+ with a PMC-100-20 photomultiplier system (Becker & Hickl Germany). The article considers the transformation of the luminescence spectra of colloidal Ag2S/TGA QDs and Ag2S/2-MPA QDs in mixtures with pyramidal Ag NPs and Au NRs. The study demonstratedthe presence of the effects of the contour transformation of the luminescence spectra due to the Fano effect, as well as the luminescence quenching following direct contact between QDs and NPs

Well dispersed chiral Ag2S quantum dots (Ag2S QDs) were facilely synthesized by using N-acetyl-L-cysteine (NALC) as the chiral ligand, which were loaded onto the nanosheets of two-dimensional (2D) few-layer carbon...
