Project scheduling is the next step once project planning is completed. This requires knowledge and the depth of the activities, the dependencies between activities and, duration of the activities. Creating and designing a realistic project schedule is the biggest challenges a project manager faces. There are some common problems that can be impact towards project delay or performance: Assigning Resource or Resource Constraint, Managing the Unknown or Managing Change and Estimating Task Duration. These 3 factors and causes are contributing to project scheduling problem. The impact of resource constraint causes towards be impact towards project delay or performance.  To achieve this goal, the survey has been conducted. Finally, the results of the surveys are presented in order to see which commons problems are the most happening and really effected project scheduling.

Sea transportation is one of the main transportation in Indonesia. The flow of the ships and goods is increasing from year to year. If those increase is not supported by proper infrastructure and facilities and also good services, those would cause traffic problems on the voyage that resulted in queue problems in the port. The uneffective and unefficient of arrival and service pattern for berthing vessels make the queue problems becomes more difficult to be solved.Ship berthing services system on North Jamrud is still done manually by helding meeting every day to determine the berthing position. Designing a scheduling management system of ship berthing by simulating the ship schedule will help the service process for port management and agent. Sequential searching algorithm is used to search and collect the ship arrival data by minimizing the total service time of the ships. The simulation showed that the berthing process of ships can be done quickly by ensuring that the service time of the ships is in accordance with the standard operation procedure. The mean of waiting time for passanger ship is 41 hours, for cargo ship is 47 hours, and for the dry bulk type of ship is 70 hours with R = 0.9 Keywords : Schedulling , Sequential Searching, Waiting time

According to the study on the information technology status of domestic shipbuilding industry, aiming as the demand of full-vision and effective management mode of curved block construction scheduling, the HCI (Human-computer Interaction) spatial layout and planning technique of curved block is proposed. Through Several technical points and rich-client application, the graphics vector modeling of curved block and the dual-dimension block layout and planning dynamic display technology are achieved, then on these bases an HCI scheduling management technology with graphics transformation as core is put forward. Finally, a prototype system was designed and developed to verify in practice.
