The SL (2, R)/Z WZW orbifold which describes the (2+1)-dimensional black hole approaching anti-de Sitter space asymptotically. We study the 1 → 1 tachyon scattering off the rotating black hole background and calculate the Hawking temperature using the Bogoliubov transformation.

In a previous paper, we have derived the Hawking temperature T H = 1/8πM for a Schwarzschild black hole of mass M, starting from the Wheeler–DeWitt for the wave function Ψ on the apparent horizon, due to Tomimatsu. Here we discuss the derivation of this result in greater detail, with particular regard to the Euclideanization procedure involved and the boundary conditions on the horizon. Further, analysis of the de Sitter space-time generated by a cosmological constant Λ yields the temperature [Formula: see text] found by Gibbons and Hawking, which thus vindicates the method. The emission of radiation occurs with preservation of unitarity, and hence entropy, which is substantiated by a global thermodynamical argument in the case of the black hole.

We generalize the holographic superconductor model with dark matter sector by including the Stückelberg mechanism in the four-dimensional anti-de Sitter (AdS) black hole background away from the probe limit. We study effects of the dark matter sector on the [Formula: see text]-wave scalar condensation and find that the dark matter sector affects the critical phase transition temperature and also the order of phase transitions. At last, we conclude that the dark matter sector brings richer physics in this general metal/superconductor system.

In this paper, we consider rotating black hole in three dimensions with a scalar charge and discuss about the jet-quenching parameter. We find that the effect of scalar charge is decreasing and rotation parameter is increasing the value of the jet-quenching parameter.
