We study the exact solution of a superconducting model of strongly correlated electrons in 1+1 dimensions. We explain the method of solution and explicitly derive the fundamental Bethe equations that determine the physical properties of the model in the thermodynamic limit. We also give explicit expressions for the conserved quantum integrals of motion in the model and prove a lowest weight theorem for the Bethe Ansatz states.
