We provide a complete classification of possible graphs of rational preperiodic points of endomorphisms of the projective line of degree 2 defined over the rationals with a rational periodic critical point of period 2, under the assumption that these maps have no periodic points of period at least 7. We explain how this extends results of Poonen on quadratic polynomials. We show that there are exactly 13 possible graphs, and that such maps have at most nine rational preperiodic points. We provide data related to the analogous classification of graphs of endomorphisms of degree 2 with a rational periodic critical point of period 3 or 4.

Taking a groupoid C*-algebra approach to the study of the quantum complex projective spaces [Formula: see text] constructed from the multipullback quantum spheres introduced by Hajac and collaborators, we analyze the structure of the C*-algebra [Formula: see text] realized as a concrete groupoid C*-algebra, and find its [Formula: see text]-groups. Furthermore, after a complete classification of the unitary equivalence classes of projections or equivalently the isomorphism classes of finitely generated projective modules over the C*-algebra [Formula: see text], we identify those quantum principal [Formula: see text]-bundles introduced by Hajac and collaborators among the projections classified.

AbstractThe C*-algebras associated with irrational rotations of the circle were classified up to strong Morita equivalence by M. A. Rieffel. As a corollary, he gave a complete classification of the C*-algebras arising from irrational or Kronecker flows on the 2-torus up to *-isomorphism. Here, we extend the result to the socalled Denjoy homeomorphisms. Specifically, we give a necessary and sufficient condition for the strong Morita equivalence of two C*-algebras arising from homeomorphisms of the circle without periodic points. As a corollary, we show that two C*-algebras arising from flows on the 2-torus obtained from such homeomorphisms by the “flow under constant function” construction are *-isomorphic if and only if the flows themselves are topologically conjugate.

The article gives an overview, performs analysis and classification of successful managerial practices applied at Russian industrial enterprises in the framework of the national project “Labour productivity and employment support”. The paper emphasizes the main factors of labour productivity growth as follows: investment policy, growth of human capital, and efficient use of managerial capital of enterprise. In order to determine the need of enterprises to increase labour productivity, the author proposes four universal criteria that signal the existing inefficiency even before the loss of competitiveness: 1) the dynamics of labour productivity in the company is not positive during a given period; 2) the company is behind competitors by labour productivity indicator; 3) the company is behind competitors by labour productivity growth rates indicator for a certain period; 4) unit production costs rise. These criteria allow you to take into account the situation both within the enterprise and in comparison with other enterprises. Each criteria can be considered separately or in combination with the others, applied to enterprises of different industries, specialization, and scale. Criteria indicate the direction of development in which the company is experiencing difficulties at the moment, or may experience them in the future.

Abstract We give a complete classification of dynamical invariants in 3d and 4d Higher Spin Gravity models, with some comments on arbitrary d. These include holographic correlation functions, interaction vertices, on-shell actions, conserved currents, surface charges, and some others. Surprisingly, there are a good many conserved p-form currents with various p. The last fact, being in tension with ‘no nontrivial conserved currents in quantum gravity’ and similar statements, gives an indication of hidden integrability of the models. Our results rely on a systematic computation of Hochschild, cyclic, and Chevalley-Eilenberg cohomology for the corresponding higher spin algebras. A new invariant in Chern-Simons theory with the Weyl algebra as gauge algebra is also presented.

We provide a strong condition holding for nil-clean quadratic elements in any ring. In particular, our result implies that every nil-clean involution in a ring is unipotent. As a consequence, we give a complete classification of weakly nil-clean rings introduced recently in [Breaz, Danchev and Zhou, Rings in which every element is either a sum or a difference of a nilpotent and an idempotent, J. Algebra Appl. 15 (2016) 1650148, doi: 10.1142/S0219498816501486].

In this paper, we present a complete classification of Bianchi type II spacetime according to Ricci inheritance collineations (RICs). The RICs are classified considering cases when the Ricci tensor is both degenerate as well as non-degenerate. In case of non-degenerate Ricci tensor, it is found that Bianchi type II spacetime admits 4-, 5-, 6- or 7-dimensional Lie algebra of RICs. In the case when the Ricci tensor is degenerate, majority cases give rise to infinitely many RICs, while remaining cases admit finite RICs given by 4, 5 or 6.

AbstractIn this paper the authors study quotients of the product of elliptic curves by a rigid diagonal action of a finite group G. It is shown that only for $$G = {{\,\mathrm{He}\,}}(3), {\mathbb {Z}}_3^2$$ G = He ( 3 ) , Z 3 2 , and only for dimension $$\ge 4$$ ≥ 4 such an action can be free. A complete classification of the singular quotients in dimension 3 and the smooth quotients in dimension 4 is given. For the other finite groups a strong structure theorem for rigid quotients is proven.
