This study aimed to analyze the results of student books based on inquiry validation for class VIII Junior High School. Validation was done by 6 validators consisting of three lecturer and three teachers. Data obtained from the questionnaire validation. The questionnaire results were analyzed with descriptive analysis. The analysis showed that the average student book based inquiry validation results were 91.51 with very valid criteria. It can be concluded that the students books based on inquiry can be used to science teaching for students of class VIII Junior High School.

Penelitian ini bertitik tolak adanya kesenjangan antara harapan pembelajaran dan hasil belajar fisika SMP, oleh sebab itu perlu diupayakan peningkatan mutu proses belajar mengajar melalui pengembangan perangkat pembelajaran yang sesuai dengan hakikat IPA dan standar kompetensi lulusan SMP. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan kevalidan dan kepraktisan perangkat pembelajaran IPA terpadu berbasis software adobe flash CS6 pada materi energi dan makanan. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif evaluatif yang menghasilkan media pembelajaran IPA terpadu yang valid dan praktis untuk siswa SMP. Media pembelajaran yang dihasilkan divalidasi oleh 2 ahli pembelajaran dan 3 ahli media menggunakan lembar validasi. Kepraktisan produk ditentukan berdasarkan respon 2 guru dan 20 siswa terhadap media pembelajaran yang dikumpulkan menggunakan angket respon. Data hasil penelitian dianalisis secara deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan media pembelajaaran dinyatakan valid, sedangkan respon yang diberikan guru dan siswa menunjukkan respon yang positif terhadap perangkat pembelajaran dan media pembelajaran yang dihasilkan. Berdasarkan temuan penelitian tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa perangkat pembelajaran IPA berbasis media software adobe flash CS6 yang dikembangkan valid dan praktis digunakan dalam pembelajaran IPA terpadu pada materi energi dan makanan bagi siswa SMP. Validity and Practicality of Integrated Science Learning Tools Based on Adobe Flash Cs6 Software on Energy and Food Themes Abstract This research is based on the existence of a gap between learning expectations and learning outcomes for junior high school physics, therefore it is necessary to improve the quality of the teaching and learning process through the development of learning tools that are in accordance with the nature of science and competency standards for junior high school graduates. This study aims to describe the validity and practicality of integrated science learning tools based on Adobe Flash CS6 software on energy and food materials. This research is an evaluative descriptive research that produces an integrated science learning media that is valid and practical for junior high school students. The resulting learning media was validated by 2 learning experts and 3 media experts using a validation sheet. The practicality of the product is determined based on the responses of 2 teachers and 20 students to the learning media collected using a response questionnaire. The research data were analyzed descriptively. The results showed that the learning media was declared valid, while the responses given by the teacher and students showed a positive response to the learning tools and learning media produced. Based on the research findings, it can be concluded that the adobe flash CS6 software media-based science learning device that was developed is valid and practical to use in integrated science learning on energy and food materials for junior high school students.

AbstractThis study aims to identify the increasing mastery of skills of junior high school science students after the application of the Experiential Learning in Integrated Science learning. The method used was pre-experimental with design pretest-posttest of one-group which was conducted in one of the Junior High School in Bandung, with a sample of eighth grade students (Class VIII H) as many as 34 students in the 2nd half of 2014/2015 academic year. The research instrument was like pretest and posttest to measure the increase of science process skills, finished learning observation sheets and questionnaires to determine the response of students to the implementation of Experiential Learning model. The results showed integrated science learning by implementation of Integrated Experiential Learning model can improve skills of science process skills of junior high school students. Increased each KPS's indicator has a value that varies in sequence from largest to smallest: hypothesizing (0,65), interpretating (0,58), applying the concept (0,36) and communicating (0,35).These results indicated the model of Experiential Learning is one of learning model that can improve students' mastery KPS.Keywords: connected; experiential  learning; science process skillsAbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi peningkatan keterampilan proses sains siswa SMP setelah penerapan model experiential learning pada pembelajaran IPA Terpadu. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah pre-eksperimen dengan desain one-group pretest-posttest yang dilakukan di salah satu SMP Negeri di Kota Bandung, dengan sampel siswa kelas VIII H sebanyak 34 siswa semester 2 Tahun Ajaran 2014/2015. Instrumen penelitian berupa soal pretest dan posttest untuk mengukur peningkatan keterampilan proses sains, lembar observasi untuk keterlaksanaan pembelajaran, dan lembar angket untuk mengetahui tanggapan siswa terhadap pelaksanaan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan pembelajaran IPA Terpadu dengan penerapan model experiential learning dapat meningkatkan keterampilan proses sains siswa SMP pada topik tekanan. Hal ini dapat dilihat dari rata-rata skor N-Gain dari penguasaan konsep siswa sebesar 0,55 berada pada kategori sedang. Rata-rata N-gain KPS adalah 0,53 pada kategori sedang. Peningkatan masing-masing indikator KPS memiliki nilai yang bervariasi secara berurut dari yang terbesar hingga terkecil yaitu: berhipotesis (0,65), interpretasi (0,58), menerapkan konsep (0,36) dan mengkomunikasikan (0,35). Science learning should be able to develop the ability to think, to work, to use tools, and to live in the world for students. Integrated Science learning and integration of digital age literacy give good opportunities for students to develop fourth of these skills. But the reality shows that the implementa-tion of integrated science learning and integration of literacy in learning can’t be implemented well. An alternative solution of this problem is to develop integrated science learning by integrating digital age literacy. Before developing this integrated science materials it is necessary to conduct preliminary research as a basis for designing this learning materials. The purpose of this preliminary research is to describe the integration of knowledge basic competencies of science subjects, the implementation of integrated science learning, the learning materials available for science learning, and the integrating literacy of students. The type of research was descriptive research method. As object of the research consist of science teachers, syllabus and science learning materials, and students of grade VIII in ju-nior high school. Instruments to collect data consist of interview guide sheet, science syllabus and learning materials document, and digital age literacy test sheet. Research data was analyzed with de-scriptive statistic. Base on data analysis can be stated that results of this research are: 1). integrated science learning on grade VIII junior high school students can’t be implemented well, 2). the value of integration of science learning materials and its application in knowledge basic competence can be classified into enough category, 3). generally science learning materials in integrated science text-books and science worksheet on grade VIII junior high school are still separated form, and 4). the average value of digital age literacy of students is classified into low category.

Research development of Integrated Science teaching materials connected type with Dick and Carey model on subject matter water pollution and which aims to improve the learning outcomes of students. The research subject of teaching materials which tested on 32 student of junior high school with design one-group pretest-posttest, and analyzed using descriptive quantitative. The results are validation of teaching materials is valid, learning performance is good. Tests of students learning outcomes were analyzed with N-Gain Increased. Psychomotor skills of students is good), and the teaching materials can develop to students attitudes. The conclusion of this research, that the integrated science teaching materials connected type with environment source learning students in junior high school is feasible and can improve the learning outcomes of studentsTelah dilakukan suatu penelitian pengembangan perangkat pembelajaran IPA terpadu tipe connected dengan model Dick and Carey pada pokok bahasan pencemaran air dan bertujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa SMP.  Subyek penelitian perangakat pembelajaran yang diujicobakan pada 32 siswa SMP dengan rancangan one group pretest-posttest,sedangkan analisis data secara deskriptif kuantitatif. Hasil validasi perangkat pembelajaran valid, keterlaksanaan pembelajaran baik. Tes hasil belajar siswa dianalisis dengan N-Gain mengalami peningkatan, kemampuan psikomotor siswa baik, dan perangkat pembelajaran dapat mengembangkan sikap siswa. Simpulan penelitian ini, bahwa perangkat pembelajaran IPA terpadu tipe connected dengan sumber belajar lingkungan sekitar pada siswa SMP layak dan  dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa.

Integration among of science branches, ICT, and character values in learning process is necessary conductedin Junior High School. Science learning in Junior High School should be conducted because Science is an unity. Fact shows that Science in Junior High School is still separated. Purpose of this research is to produce a ICT learning material of integrated Science and to determine its validity result. This result can be categorized into research and development. There are five stages of this research, those are: to know potency and problem, to collect the information, to design the ICT learning material, and to valid the ICT learning material. Base on the development of ICT learning material can be stated two results of this research. First. Main menus of integrated Science learning material consist of home, identities, competency, introduction, learning material, exercise, competency test, references, and supporting menus. Second, validity result of integrated Science learning material is very good with average value is 85.90.

The instruction of Integrated Science at Junior High School considers with the use of Inquiry Approach. The students are provided with the daily reality occurs in their life. The Integrated Science at Junior High School has some features covering the developing ability in questioning, searching the questions, understanding the questions, and completing the questions on “what”, “why”, and “how” about the natural symptom as well as its characteristics systematically that to be applied in the environment and the technology. Such understanding of that integrated should be balanced with the students’ psychology in which they are led to the content, so the process and the psychomotor are more urgent but the cognitive side is not to be ignored.

This research is motivated by the lack of mathematics teaching materials that can make students learn on their own. The teaching material can be created by teachers as they are the ones who possess the knowledge about their students’ characteristics. Further, learning materials are a set of materials (information, tools, or texts) that can aid teachers and students to carry out the learning process. The two-variable linear equation system (SPLDV) is one of the mathematics materials taught to eighth-grade students of junior high school; it contains problems related to daily life. However, it is found that this material is still difficult to master by most students. Therefore, it is necessary to develop the SPLDV teaching materials that can help students learn and solve problems as well as be used as examples by teachers in developing other materials. This research aimed to make problem-based SPLDV teaching materials. The research method refers to the Four-D Model by Thiagarajan, Semmel, and Semmel (1974). It consisted of defining, designing, developing, and disseminating. The results showed that problem-based SPLDV teaching materials could be used in learning activities as the students and the teachers had shown their positive responses after going through expert assessments. This study also suggested that the teachers use this teaching material and adopt teaching materials for other similar materials.
