Beijing is a typical city of energy resources shortage and there exists the contradiction between energy supply and demand. This paper analyzes the current situation and existing problems of Beijing’s energy utilization, and then forecasts Beijing’s energy supply and demand from 2011 to 2015 based on four kinds of grey forecasting models, finds out that the equilibrium of Beijing’s energy supply and demand is fairly weak with higher external dependence and there is a large room for improving the proportion of quality energy and for developing and utilizing renewable energy. Finally, on the basis of the current situation of Beijing's energy utilization and the development trend in the next few years, some suggestions are proposed.

In the study of vegetable price forecast, as the price is subject to various uncertain factors (weather, supply and demand, etc.), it has attributes such as high nonlinear, randomness and high noise, which would lead to the difficulty in forecasting. But grasping the law of price development and understanding the development trend of price, would help farmers grow the vegetable reasonably, and reduce unbalanced supply and demand. Therefore, we will make use of the characteristics of neural networks such as self-adapt,self-study and high fault tolerance, to build up the model of BP neural network with the training function of L-M for forecasting the vegetable prices. Finally, numerical example proves that the method is effective.

To study the wake development characteristics of wind farms in complex terrains, two different types of Light Detection and Ranging (LiDAR) were used to conduct the field measurements in a mountain wind farm in Hebei Province, China. Under two different incoming wake conditions, the influence of wind shear, terrain and incoming wind characteristics on the development trend of wake was analyzed. The results showed that the existence of wind shear effect causes asymmetric distribution of wind speed in the wake region. The relief of the terrain behind the turbine indicated a subsidence of the wake centerline, which had a linear relationship with the topography altitudes. The wake recovery rates were calculated, which comprehensively validated the conclusion that the wake recovery rate is determined by both the incoming wind turbulence intensity in the wake and the magnitude of the wind speed.

Because of the practical requirement of real-time collection and analysis of CNC machine tool processing status information, we discuss the necessity and feasibility of applying ubiquitous sensor network(USN) in CNC machine tools by analyzing the characteristics of ubiquitous sensor network and the development trend of CNC machine tools, and application of machine tool thermal error compensation based on USN is presented.
