An increasingly rapid technological progress in the era of globalization in the business world, so do not rule out the possibility that a decision-making is something that is very vital in determining the decisions to be taken in the face of competitive business world. Decision making can be influenced by several aspects, this can affect the speed of decision making by the decision maker in which decisions must be quick and accurate. Lecturer Performance Assessment Using the Analytical Hierarchy Process is a decision support system that aims to assess faculty performance according to certain criteria. This system of faculty performance appraisal criteria to map a hierarchy, where each hierarchy will be performed pairwise comparison, the pairwise comparisons between criteria, so to get a comparison of the relative importance of criteria with each other. The results of this comparison is then analyzed to obtain the priority of each criterion. Once completed and performed an assessment of alternative options to be compared and calculated to obtain the best alternatives according to established criteria.

The accuracy and reliability is the quality of the information. The more accurate and reliable, the more information it’s good quality. Similarly, a survey, the better the survey, the more accurate the information provided. Implementation of student satisfaction measurement to the process of teaching and learning activities on the quality of the implementation of important lectures in order to get feedback on the assessed variables and for future repair. Likewise in Higher Education Prog has undertaken the process of measuring student satisfaction through a distributed questioner finally disemester each class lecture. However, the deployment process questioner is identified there are 7 (seven) problems. However, the problem can be resolved by the 3 (three) ways of solving problems one of which is a system of iLearning Survey (Isur), that is by providing an online survey to students that can be accessed anywhere and anytime. In the implementation shown a prototype of Isur itself. It can be concluded that the contribution Isur system can maximize the decision taken by the Higher Education Prog. By using this Isur system with questions and evaluation forms are submitted and given to the students and the other colleges. To assess the extent to which the campus has grown and how faculty performance in teaching students class, and can be used as a media Isur valid information for an assessment of activities throughout college.

Why is authorship of a textbook generally considered less of a scholarly contribution than authorship of a “scholarly” publication, such as a journal article or a university press book?Certainly both are needed, but is it right for a political science department to reward faculty who author “scholarly” publications more than those who author textbooks?Whether stipulated in the criteria for departmental evaluation of faculty performance or in other less overt ways, the bias is prevalent throughout our discipline.This essay states five reasons why the bias should not exist: 1) ignorance of impact, 2) ignorance of values, 3) ignorance of the review process, 4) ignorance of purpose, and 5) ignorance of time and Scope.

The present study sought to examine the justification of faculty claims regarding bias in students’ assessments of faculty performance that stem from external factors which do not include the quality of their teaching. Specifically, we sought to examine the hypothesis that there is a correlation between lecturer ranking and grades given by lecturers and between lecturer rankings, grades, and background variables. The framework of the research is the combination of three different stages: faculty, course, lecturer and the statistical manipulation, creating a complex image of reality and thereby offering an answer to the most classical question in the research literature. Findings of this study indicate that the alleged correlation between the students’ grades and the lecturers is non-existent, and nothing but a myth amongst the academic body. However, the research still points out that there are some additional elements which are beyond the efficiency of teaching as we tap into different levels of interaction between student and lecturer.

In recent years, research on faculty performance measures has increased. Although peer reviews are an integral part of faculty’s work and require time investment, they are typically not considered in measuring faculty performance. The aim of this research was to investigate associations between evaluations of peers’ performance as research advisors, and teaching perceptions.  We employed Exploratory Factor Analysis, followed by Structural Equation Modeling, to test our model’s goodness-of-fit. Results show that the stronger the satisfaction from assessing peers’ performance as advisors, the greater the perceived significance of teaching. Excellence in teaching also effects teaching perceptions. Furthermore, female faculty members gained more satisfaction from assessing peers than did males. It has been argued that there is no association between teaching and assessing peers’ performance as research advisors. The findings of this study address the literature gap regarding the link between teaching quality and research, by employing the Projection theory.
