Histiocytic cell malignancies are very rare. Hence, the information about this disease in hematology is limited. In this case report, we present a case of malignant histiocytic tumor affecting the ovary of a 40-year-old virgin female. Primary ovarian malignancy was not considered for the patient who was approached as if she had ovarian malignancy, since there was an indication of a mass in the ovary. Therefore, an aggressive surgery was not performed. Since our patient was in the reproductive age, fertility-preserving surgery was performed. Our patient was then treated systemically by medical oncology. In conclusion, the rare malignancy group was investigated in the present study along with an evaluation of the current literature.

Associations between neuropsychotic changes and oncologic disease are often described as late-onset symptoms, secondary to the instituted treatment. However, neurocognitive symptoms as a clinical manifestation of adnexal tumors are still little discussed, despite the importance of these in the gynecology practice. In this article, we present a case of adnexal mass whose first clinical manifestations were neuropsychiatric alterations. Such changes led the patient to seek our health service, and after diagnosis and treatment of the ovarian mass, the patient presented remission of the symptoms.

Abstract BackgroundMetastasis of the pancreas to myxoid liposarcoma is very rare.Case presentationWe report a 43-year-old woman who underwent radical surgery for myxoid liposarcoma (MLPS) of the sigmoid colon 9 years earlier and for liposarcoma of the neck 7 years earlier. The lesion later metastasized to the pancreas, and we performed pancreaticoduodenectomy, which was pathologically confirmed as myxoid liposarcoma. Unfortunately, the patient died a year later from unexplained gastrointestinal bleeding.ConclusionsMyxoid liposarcoma is a very rare malignancy that carries a risk of invasion to the pancreas, and complete surgical resection is the best chance for clinical treatment.

Primary prostate sarcoma is a rare malignancy of the prostate with poor prognosis. It accounts for <1% of the tumors of the prostate. Leiomyosarcoma is the most common sarcoma involving the prostate in adults affecting men between the ages of 40 and 78 years. Tumor cells commonly express vimentin, smooth muscle actin and desmin, and up to 25% express cytokeratins.

Primary gallbladder cancer is a rare malignancy and it is difficult to be diagnosed because there are no specific signs and symptoms at the initial stage. The most important risk factors include female gender, the age of more than 65 years, and having large gallstones. The authors present a rare and unusual case of adenocarcinoma of the gallbladder because the reported case is a male patient from Asia and had acalculous cholecystitis.
