Automatic Border Alert System for Fishermen using GPS and GSM Techniques

Countries with the International Marine time Boundary Line (IMBL) will always has security problems and continuous life threatens for those fishermen whose family’s main economical support is fishing. Even in the peninsular country like India has their boundary limit in the ocean, the people of these coastal regions has the main work of fishing, due to carelessness or without knowing their boundary limit of their country they crosses the borders. In such situation the lives of fishermen continued to be difficult. They may face bullets and attacks from opposite Navy, at the end of attack fishermen are being abducted and their boats are being captured. So our paper is designed to avoid such kind of accidents and to alert the fishermen about border area well before using latest technology of Global Positioning System (GPS) and Global System for Mobile communication (GSM). And also this paper shows how this technology can be used for detecting natural hazards and obtaining meteorological information of the ocean for the safe navigation of fishermen.

Boundary detection and alert system is a straightforward and effective idea, which utilizes Internet of Things technology. By utilizing this framework border monitoring is 100% protected and secure. It naturally alarms the intruder when the vehicle goes over the specific range in borders. This is finished by a sensor called Global positioning system (GPS). It detects the current position of the vehicle and switch on the caution framework naturally. In this anticipate, no need of manual operations like on time and off time setting. GPS and IoT are the fundamental segments of the task. The resistances of the alert system changes as per the distance between the current position of the vehicle and the border get decreased or increased.


There is a clear need to enhance security action to prevent any malicious use or inadvertent abuse of radiation sources. Some of these radioactive sources are consistently transferred beyond the office or laboratory grounds for work and consulting reasons. This paper presents the early development of the radioactive citation tracking, which combined the Arduino microcontroller, Global Positioning System (GPS) and Global Mobile Communication System (GSM) systems. The monitoring scheme will assist the proprietor track the motion of irradiated sources. The system is completely capable of monitoring the motion of the toxic substance through GPS satellite signals. The GPS position could either be transferred to the headquarters at a set intervalShort Messaging Service (SMS) enables real-time surveillance or storage on a flash drive for offline surveillance and information capturing..

Global Positioning System (GPS) is being used more and more for a wide range of applications. This is a reliable position, navigation for end-users of anywhere in the world or around the globe, on any weather, day or night. In the event that an angler goes past the limits of the nation, at that point a notice emerges, showing that the anglers have crossed the outskirt. Furthermore, a GSM transmitter interface will make an impression on construct station situated with respect to the shore showing that a vessel has crossed the fringe. Hence protects in the shore can help and give extra help to those anglers if necessary. Remembering about existences of Indian anglers, this gadget has been made to help them not to move past Indian. Overall, it is an endeavor to fabricate an appropriate gadget for the anglers at a sensibly ease.  


Temporary auto pilot mode can help in saving lives, especially those of drivers. Using sensors, one can continuously monitor a driver’s biological attributes, collect and process the obtained biological data with algorithm to get the physical status of the driver and decide whether he is fit to drive. In this work, we propose an intelli-car with auto-pilot mode. In intelli-car, if the driver found unfit to drive, the car takes the responsibility by switching to a temporary auto pilot mode with the support of various sensors and algorithms. In addition, it will find a safer way to stop while sending its location along with the data obtained using Global Positioning System and Global System for Mobile Communication modules to the concerned authorities. A hospital nearby to that incident will be notified when the driver's biological condition is found unstable.

In this paper, IoT have been utilized to handle smart wastage bins which are used to gather wastage and avoid it from spilling over. Global Positioning System (GPS), Arduino UNO microcontroller, ultrasonic sensor, ESP8266 Wi-Fi module chip and Global System for Mobile Communication (GSM) has incorporated into a framework to employ these wastage bins.

With the rapid development of mobile communication, the GPS (Global Positioning System) which provides real-time global positioning system has not been able to meet the needs of the indoor accurate positioning. Through simulation, this paper implements the method of indoor three-dimensional positioning based on RSSI compared the positioning accuracy under several kinds of noise. We achieve the good indoor three-dimensional positioning method with the combination of cost, positioning accuracy and positioning precision through the filter and secondary positioning which establishes special propagation model for various different environments.

It is a simple React-Native application used to get an alert before your destined metro station so that you can plan your journey accordingly without the fear of missing the destination. The purpose of this project is to design and construct a hand-held wireless tracking device so that the location of a person can be detected. Other than providing alert the application can also be used for women safety purpose. It focuses on one of the important problems of society that is eve-teasing. It makes the society to be aware of the misbehavior which is happening and to come forward for help. It enables women to be self-dependent and can handle any kind of unpredictable situation. It mainly shares the location based on GPS, (Global Positioning System). Pressing the SOS button it sends the emergency message with time and location to the emergency contacts and metro authorities. When the application triggers on the time of travelling it send the location to the emergency contacts with few images taken by the camera on spot, and a siren rings which gives immediate help.


Children tracking system based on android terminals is proposed. Recently, all over the world crime against the children in the age of 14 to 17 years is more popular. Parent’s always worry about their children whenever they are outside from the home. In this paper, the proposed system consists of two sides out of them one is parent module and another is the child module. The child module consists of ARM7 Microcontroller (LPC 2148), GPS (Global Positioning System), GSM (Global System for Mobile Communication) and voice chip where the parent module consists of android mobile phone. This paper gives the information about missing child from school campus. There are two android mobile phones for the safety of the both modules. The system tracking the child from source to destination i.e. from home to school or anywhere.

Abstract Nowadays women are facing many problems; the most common problems are mental and physical harassment. In order to secure women from such harassments, we propose a novel device Guardian Device for women. The device works with a trigger, microcontroller, GSM module, GPS module, IoT module, Neuro Stimulator, Buzzer, Vibrating Sensor, Pulse sensor, Solar charging battery and a button sized camera. The women can switch ON the trigger whenever they feel danger. The device will activate the global positioning system (GPS), which obviously will track the exact position of the device. The device sends an emergency message to the registered mobile number and nearby police station. The button sized camera captures the image of an attacker and sends the copy to the police stations nearby. Neuro stimulator will give unethical shock to the attacker and a buzzer gives an alarm which alerts the people surrounding the victim.


The thought of developing this project came from social responsibility towards the society. As we can see many accidents occurring around us in our day-to-day life. Usually people die due to lack of treatment in proper time. The reasons for this may be many such as late arrival of ambulance, no person at place of accident to give information to the ambulance. Therefore, this paper came up with idea of giving the information about accident as soon as possible and in time. Thus, the death rate due to bike accident can be minimized. Here the vibration sensors in the helmet that are connected to Arduino board that delivers an input when the rider crashes. Based upon the sensor value, the Arduino extract GPS (Global Positioning System) data and then GSM (Global System for Mobile communication) module automatically sends message to ambulance, police and family members with GPS location. Then the accidents caused due to over fall of light at nighttime can also be avoided here by helmet equipped with the feature, automatic change of night mode visor. In addition, the android mobile communication can be done via Bluetooth module in the helmet
