Children tracking system based on android terminals is proposed. Recently, all over the world crime against the children in the age of 14 to 17 years is more popular. Parent’s always worry about their children whenever they are outside from the home. In this paper, the proposed system consists of two sides out of them one is parent module and another is the child module. The child module consists of ARM7 Microcontroller (LPC 2148), GPS (Global Positioning System), GSM (Global System for Mobile Communication) and voice chip where the parent module consists of android mobile phone. This paper gives the information about missing child from school campus. There are two android mobile phones for the safety of the both modules. The system tracking the child from source to destination i.e. from home to school or anywhere.

A vehicle tracking system is very useful for tracking the movement of a vehicle from any location at any time. An efficient vehicle tracking system is designed and implemented for tracking the movement of any equipped vehicle from any location at any time. The proposed system made good use of popular technology that combines a smartphone with an Arduino UNO. This easy to make and inexpensive compared to others. The designed in vehicle device works using Global Positioning System (GPS) and Global System for Mobile Communication(GSM) technology that is one of the most common ways for vehicle tracking. The device is embedded inside a vehicle those positions is to be determined and tracked in real time. A vehicle tracking system is an electronic device installed in a vehicle to enable the owner or a third party to track the vehicle's location. This paper proposed to design a vehicle tracking system that works using GPS and GSM technology, which would be the cheapest source of vehicle tracking and it would work as anti-theft system. It is an embedded system which is used for tracking and positioning of any vehicle by using Global Positioning System (GPS) and Global system for mobile communication (GSM). An Arduino UNO is used to control the GPS receiver and GSM module. The vehicle tracking system uses the GPS module to get geographic coordinates at regular time interval. The GSM module is used to transmit and update the vehicle location to a database. This paper gives minute by minute update about vehicle location by sending SMS through GSM modem. This SMS contain latitude and longitude of the location of vehicle. Arduino UNO gets the coordinates from GPS modem and then it sends this information to user in text SMS. GSM modem is used to send this information via SMS sent to the owner of the vehicle. Location is displayed on LCD. And then Google map displays location and name of the place on cell phone. Thus, user able to continuously monitor a moving vehicle on demand using smartphone and determine the estimated distance and time for the vehicle to arrive at a given destination.


There is a clear need to enhance security action to prevent any malicious use or inadvertent abuse of radiation sources. Some of these radioactive sources are consistently transferred beyond the office or laboratory grounds for work and consulting reasons. This paper presents the early development of the radioactive citation tracking, which combined the Arduino microcontroller, Global Positioning System (GPS) and Global Mobile Communication System (GSM) systems. The monitoring scheme will assist the proprietor track the motion of irradiated sources. The system is completely capable of monitoring the motion of the toxic substance through GPS satellite signals. The GPS position could either be transferred to the headquarters at a set intervalShort Messaging Service (SMS) enables real-time surveillance or storage on a flash drive for offline surveillance and information capturing..


Temporary auto pilot mode can help in saving lives, especially those of drivers. Using sensors, one can continuously monitor a driver’s biological attributes, collect and process the obtained biological data with algorithm to get the physical status of the driver and decide whether he is fit to drive. In this work, we propose an intelli-car with auto-pilot mode. In intelli-car, if the driver found unfit to drive, the car takes the responsibility by switching to a temporary auto pilot mode with the support of various sensors and algorithms. In addition, it will find a safer way to stop while sending its location along with the data obtained using Global Positioning System and Global System for Mobile Communication modules to the concerned authorities. A hospital nearby to that incident will be notified when the driver's biological condition is found unstable.

Major significant challenge looked by the current reality is the developing measure of wastage (garbage) produced each day. Because of urbanization, population explosion and ill-advised methods for waste gathering, waste is being created on an enormous size. Hazardous infections, decrease in the nature of style in the earth, air and water contamination are for the most part resultant issues of unattended wastage primarily because of carelessness in wastage assortment. Hence, there are various accessible advances which go for successful accumulation of waste. In this paper, IoT have been utilized to handle smart wastage bins which are used to gather wastage and avoid it from spilling over. Global Positioning System (GPS), Arduino UNO microcontroller, ultrasonic sensor, ESP8266 Wi-Fi module chip and Global System for Mobile Communication (GSM) has incorporated into a framework to employ these wastage bins.

ABSTRAKBerprinsip pada pengembangan teknologi dan aplikasi dari sistem penjejakan posisi (tracking), maka dibuatlah sistem personal tracking dengan mentransmisikan data GPS (Global Positioning System) dengan menggunakan teknologi SMS (Short Messaging Service) pada jaringan GSM (Global System for Mobile Communications) sebagai media transmisinya.  Dengan sistem GPS akan diperoleh data garis lintang, serta garis bujur dari GPS receiver.  Data tersebut akan diteruskan oleh mikrokontroler untuk dikirim ke ponsel pengamat melalui komunikasi SMS.  Hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa device personal tracking berhasil mengirimkan data berupa IMEI, Tanggal satelit, waktu satelit, koordinat longitude, koordinat latitude, dan jumlah satelit yang berhasil ditangkap oleh device ke ponsel pengamat.  Dari data koordinat tersebut pengamat dapat memantau posisi device personal tracking berada dengan bantuan aplikasi pendukung yaitu Google Maps.Kata kunci: GPS, Personal Tracking, SMS, Google Maps. ABSTRACTBase on technology and application development of tracking, personal tracking system was made by transmiting GPS (Global Positioning System) data using SMS (Short Messaging Service) technology with GSM (Global System for Mobile Communications) network as transmitter media.  BY GPS system, we can get datas such as latitude and longitude of GPS receiver.  Those datas will be processed by microcontroller to be sent from GSM/GPRS module to user cellular phone through SMS communication.  The test result showed that the device can be sending datas such as IMEI, UTC date, UTC time, longitude coordinate, latitude coordinate, and number sattelite which detected by device to user’s phonecell.  From those coordinate, user can be monitoring the device’s position with the Google Maps application.Keywords: GPS, Personal Tracking, SMS, Google Maps.

This paper is about a system that prevents the accident of vehicles which gives more likely to lower the accidents takes place daily on roads and at the same time if any accident occurs the system will locate the vehicles location and informs to local emergency authorities automatically helps to take immediate and appropriate actions. This system is based on Arduino developed with Global Positioning System (GPS) to identify the vehicle's location and Global System for Mobile Communication (GSM) technologies. A motion sensor gyroscope with 3-axis gyroscope and 3-axis accelerometer is used that measures the vehicles velocity and tilting position when the vehicle hits by something. when the vehicle velocity is more than the defined maximum for the particular location a warning will be given automatically and if any accident occurs the geographical coordinates of place are located by GPS and sends an SMS to the authorities nearby. This system is low cost and easy to maintain.

This paper describes about the border alerting system for fishermen using GPS and engine control unit. In day-to-day life, many problems challenged by the Indian fishermen, and these were captured by the neighbouring countries because of crossing the border. The target of this system is to encourage the fishermen to explore and be always inside our sea nation border Using GPS (Global Positioning System) and GSM (Global system for mobile communication), GSM sends the message to the coastal guard office. If the boat nearer to the restricted zone the alarm will turned on and the sound keep on increasing and also speed of the engine will get reduced. If the fishermen fail to ignore the warning and they move to reaches the restricted zone, then automatically engine gets off and send the message to the costal guard along with the location of the fisherman. By this way, this system helps Fisherman.

<p><strong>Abstract - </strong><strong>Security and safety of the car is the major problem of vehicle users in the present situation. The growth in Biometric Technologies has provided a way to solve the safety and security problems. Here, we use Open CV Face Detection Subsystem (FDS) which works using Global Positioning System (GPS) and Global System for Mobile Communication (GSM) module along with Arduino. This model provides a cheaper cost security system for four or more-wheeled vehicles. This project describes the foremost module for Open CV Face Detection Subsystem (FDS) which takes photos of driver using Open CV algorithm and compare it in database provided with photos of different drivers. The other modules are being useful to send all the authorized information about vehicle to the owner. The whole system works based on Arduino module. This system we can keep track of our vehicle in a very cheaper cost and more accurate. </strong><strong>Using this system the identification of the thief will be easy and tracking the location of the car will be faster and cheaper than </strong><strong>earlier method.</strong></p><p> </p>

Air transport is the fastest way to reach areas with no direct land routes for ambulances. This paper presents the development of a quadcopter-based rapid response unit in an efficient aerial aid system to eliminate the delay time for first aid supplies. The system comprises a health monitoring and calling system for a field person working in open areas and a base station with the quadcopter. In an uncertain situation, the quadcopter is deployed from the base station towards the field person for immediate help through the specified path using constant Global System for Mobile (GSM)- and Global Positioning System (GPS)-based connections. The entire operation can be monitored at the base station with a Virtual Reality (VR) head-tracking system supported by a smartphone. The camera installed on the quadcopter is synchronized with the operator’s head movement while wearing a VR head-tracking system at the base station. Moreover, an Infrared (IR)-based obstacle-evasion model is implemented separately to explain the working of the autonomous collision-avoidance system. The system was tested, which confirmed the reduction in the response time to supply aid to the desired locations.
