A catalogue of the subfamilies Parandrinae (two tribes, four genera and 39 species), Prioninae (nine tribes, 83 genera, 309 species and 13 subspecies), Anoplodermatinae (three tribes, 10 genera and 27 species), Aseminae (two tribes, five genera, 18 species and two subspecies), Oxypeltinae (two genera and three species), Spondylidinae (one genus and one species) and Lepturinae (two tribes, 51 genera, 237 species and two subspecies) (Coleoptera: Cerambycidae) of the Neotropical Region is presented. Under each family-group name bibliographical references are given and under each species-group name, data on the type-locality, the acronym of the institution where the type is deposited, the geographical distribution and detailed bibliographical references are provided. In Prioninae, Callipogonini:  Anacanthus Audinet-Serville, 1832, preoccupied by Anacanthus Gray, 1830 (Pisces) is substituted by Chorenta Gistel, 1848. In Lepturinae, Lepturini: Euryptera virgata Gounelle, 1911, new status; Necydalini: Platynocera Blanchard, 1851, preoccupied by Platynocera Blanchard, 1847, Coleoptera, Chrysomelidae is substituted by Stenorhopalus Blanchard, 1851. Omissions to Monné (2005a, b) are given in the addenda. This nomenclator provides bibliographic details on all names in the family-, genus-, and species-group of the the family Paludomidae. All nomenclaturally available names are discussed including junior homonyms and objective junior synonyms as well as unavailable names such as nomina nuda, infrasubspecific names and, to some extent, also incorrect subsequent spellings. In the family-group a total of 28 names are included in the nomenclator, of which 21 are available and seven unavailable names. Of the available names in the family-group, six are invalid for nomenclatural reasons. In the genus-group a total of 57 names are included in the catalogue. Of the available names in the genus-group, 11 are invalid for nomenclatural reasons. In the species-group a total of 499 names are included, of which 463 are available, but 21 are invalid for nomenclatural reasons. All names are given in their original combination and spelling (mandatory changes are discussed and corrected spellings are provided), along with the reference to the original publication. For each family- and genus-group name, the original classification and the type genus or type species, respectively, are given. For species-group taxa the type locality and type horizon (for fossil taxa) are provided, usually as given in the original publication. A new name,Cleopatraadaminom. nov., is proposed for the fossilCleopatracylindrica(Adam, 1957), which is a homonym ofCleopatracridlandicylindricaMandahl-Barth, 1954, and a lectotype forCleopatradubiaAdam, 1959 is designated. A catalog of the type material of 59 taxa of Neotropical Pierinae housed in the National Museum of Natural History, Smithsonian Institution, Washington, DC, is presented. Each entry includes the species-group name, the original combination quoted from the original publication, the type locality, the type specimens with their labels, and notes about current taxonomic status. One new synonym has been established, Euterpe dysoni Doubleday, 1847 = Leodonta marginata Schaus, 1902. Lectotypes are designated for 5 species group taxa: Archonias intermedia Schaus, 1913, Hesperocharis jaliscana Schaus, 1898, H. paranensis Schaus, 1898, Pieris sublineata Schaus, 1902, and P. limona Schaus, 1913.

In the General Catalogue of the Homoptera (METCALF, 1967)contains 36 genera and 215 Neotropical species, including north ofMexico distributed within 10 tribes (two genera and six species inEuscelini, one genera and one species in Colladonini, one genusand one species in Goniagnathini, four genera and 52 species inAcinopterini, one genus and one species in Cicadulini, four generaand 80 species in Scaphytopiini, five genera and 32 species inBalcluthini, one genus and one species in Macrostelini, three   genera and five species in Platymetopiini and 14 genera and 82 species in Scaphoideini). However, since 1967 many papers on Neotropical Deltocephalinae have been published including classification and nomenclatorial alterations, new taxa and geographical distribution. The complete bibliography of the leafhopper literature up to 1955 can be found in the General Catalogue of the Homoptera, Fascicle VI, Part 10 (METCALF, 1962-1968). OMAN et al. (1990) published a complete list of the world genera of Cicadellidae and the bibliography between 1955-1985. In this work are recorded 21 Neotropical subfamilies, 16 Neotropical tribes and 184 Neotropical genera (one genus in Acinopterini, one genus in Cicadullini, one genus in Cerrillini, six genera in Hecalini, one genus in Luheriini, two genera in  Doraturini, two genera in Stenometopiini, four genera in Scaphytopiini, two genera in Platymetopiini, six genera in Scaphoideini, one genus in Balcluthini, seven genera in Macrostelini, two genera in Opsiini, one genus in Penthimiini, 40 genera in Deltocephalini and 107 genera in Athysanini); eight genera without references about the tribe. Another subfamily and genus were added by GODOY & WEBB (1994). This catalogue is an attempt to offer the names and bibliographic references for taxa of Deltocephalinae (Caribbean, Central America and South America). After each species-group name, the type locality, and anabbreviation of the institution where the type is deposited, are given. The geographical distribution is based upon previously published records. Each species-group name is followed by the informations including of the author (s), publication year and page and when not strictly taxonomical, an abbreviated indication of the matter treated such as: cat. — catalogue, desc. — description, distr. — geographical distribution, ill. — illustration, rev. — revision, syn. — synonymy, tax. — taxonomy.

The following checklist includes 2,955 species-group names and 553 genus-group names of weevils occurring in the Papuan region. Major islands treated are: Aru, Biak, Bougainville, Manus, Mysol, New Guinea, Salawatti, Trobriand, Waigeo, Woodlark, and Yapen Islands and the islands of the Admiralty, Bismarck, d’Entrecasteaux, and Louisaide Archipelagoes. Maps of the region with historically important collection localities are provided. Entomological expeditions to the region and collections containing significant weevil material are summarized. All available family-group, genusgroup and species-group names are arranged alphabetically for all families of Curculionoidea known from the region. All currently accepted species epithet are annotated with taxonomic references, notes on published distributions, past taxonomic changes, infrasubspecific names, and species-group synonymies. The following nomenclatural changes are proposed: the monotypic genus Neplaxa Casey is a new synonym of Pantoxystus Pascoe; its type species Neplaxa illustratus Casey is a new synonym of Pantoxystus rubricollis (Boisduval). Two subgenera of Neosynaptops, Neosynaptopsis Legalov and Pseudosynaptos Legalov are new synonymies of Euops (Neosynaptops) Voss revised status. Typespecies are designated for 25 genera, changes of rank or status are proposed for 19 taxa, and 88 new combinations are listed in “Nomenclatural changes.”

In an article by Geyer and Peel (2017, p. 288), we inadvertently coined a species-group name, Elrathia groenlandica Geyer and Peel, 2017 for a trilobite species of the superfamily Ptychopariacea. This name is a junior homonym of Elrathia? groenlandica Poulsen, 1927 and is thus invalid (ICZN Article 57.2; see International Commission on Zoological Nomenclature, 1999). We therefore propose Elrathia hensonensis new name as the replacement name for E. groenlandica Geyer and Peel, 2017. The new species name is derived from the Henson Gletscher area, North Greenland, the region where the type locality of this species is located.

The genus Lactistomyia Melander is revised and include the following eleven species: L. dimidiata (Bellardi); L. hyalia Bezzi; L. insolita Melander; L. lepida sp. n.; L. mammifera Curran; L. minuta sp. n.; L. nigripes Curran; L. paranaensis sp. n.; L. pulchra sp. n.; L. serrata Bezzi and L. tuberculata sp. n.. Except L. dimidiata, all species are described, keyed, male and female terminalia illustrated. Lactistomyia polita Melander, a species from Oriental Region, is not congeneric, is being transferred to Syndyas Loew and receiving a new name: Syndyas melanderi n. nov. The geographical distribution of Lactistomyia is just confirmed for the Neotropical region. Drawings of the female terminalia of L. serrata are supplied for the first time. The phylogenetic relationships of the included species of Lactistomyia, except L. dimidiata, are analysed.

A key for identification of the 45 genera of Acanthocinini with erect setae on the elytra and which occur in South America is provided. A new synonymy is proposed for Trichonyssodrys Gilmour, 1957 (junior synonym of Pentheochaetes Melzer, 1932), resulting in new combinations for the following species: Pentheochaetes aureopilosa (Monné, 1990), P. cincta (Delfino, 1981), P. maculata (Gilmour, 1957), P. melasma (Delfino, 1981), and P. nessimiani (Monné & Monné, 2012). The gender of the species-group names in Pentheochaetes is corrected. Diagnosis for each genus is provided, as well as type-locality and geographical distribution of the type-species.

AbstractSpecies of theAleiodes compressor(Herrich-Schaeffer) species group (Hymenoptera: Braconidae: Rogadinae) from the New World are revised. Two new species are described (Aleiodes mantiqueirensisnew speciesandAleiodes marinoniinew species) and geographical range of the species group is extended into the Neotropical Region. Both new species are known only from the type locality in Brazil. Including the current descriptions, there are six species within theAleiodes compressorspecies group, four of them from the New World. Some new diagnostic characters for the group are proposed such as the relative length of antenna and the shape of ovipositor sheaths. The males of this group are difficult to distinguish from males of theAleiodes gastritor-circumscriptusspecies group because most diagnostic features are found only in females.
