Two new genera and three new species of the leafhopper tribe Deltocephalini are described from Thailand, viz., Loeia Duan gen. n. with L. tamtipi Duan sp. n. as type species, Phetchabunia Duan gen. n. with P. janteabi Duan sp. n. as type species, and Maiestas subsirii Duan sp. n.. Five new country records for Thailand are also given, viz. Deltocephalus vulgaris Dash & Viraktamath, Maiestas dinghuensis Zhang & Duan, Maiestas scripta (Distant), Paramesodes sp., and Polyamia acicularis Dai, Xing & Li.

Two new genera are named: Pedistylis Wiens with the type species P. galpinii (Schinz ex Sprague) Wiens and Vanwykia Wiens with the type species V. remota (Bak. Sprague) Wiens. Three new species and one new subspecies are described:  Plicosepalus amplexicaulis Wiens,  Tapinanthus crassifolius Wiens,  Viscum oreophilum Wiens, and  V. capense L.f. subsp. hoolei Wiens. The following nomenclatural changes are made:  Actinanthella wyliei (Sprague) Wiens, Tapinanthus forbesii (Sprague) Wiens,  T. leendertziae (Sprague) Wiens,  T. kraussianus (Meisn.) Abstract Two new genera of the leafhopper tribe Erythroneurini, Hamata gen. nov. and Levigata gen. nov., are established based on type species from Yunnan, China: Hamata coralliformis sp. nov. and Levigata arborea sp. nov., respectively. Two additional new species, Gladkara bifida sp. nov. from Yunnan and Thapaia tibetensis sp. nov. from Tibet, are described and illustrated and amended descriptions of their respective genera are provided. A new synonymy is suggested: Elbelus tripunctatus Mahmood, 1967 = Elbelus melianus Kuoh, 1992, syn. nov. Eleven species of nine erythroneurine genera are newly recorded from China: Arboridia (Arboridia) kakogawana (Matsumura, 1932), A. (A.) suputinkaensis (Vilbaste, 1968), Balanda kara Dworakowska, 1979, Dorycnia vietnamica Dworakowska, 1979, Gambialoa (Gambialoa) borealis Dworakowska, 1981, Gladkara albida Dworakowska, 1995, Seriana dentata Sohi & Mann, 1992, S. malaica Dworakowska, 1978, Tautoneura mukla Dworakowska, 1981, Yakuza sumatrana Dworakowska, 2002, and Ziczacella lyrifora (Dlabola, 1968). Resuming published and own data, a revision of classification of Chaetognatha is presented. The family Sagittidae Claus & Grobben, 1905 is given a rank of subclass, Sagittiones, characterised, in particular, by the presence of two pairs of sac-like gelatinous structures or two pairs of fins. Besides the order Aphragmophora Tokioka, 1965, it contains the new order Biphragmosagittiformes ord. nov., which is a unique group of Chaetognatha with an unusual combination of morphological characters: the transverse muscles present in both the trunk and the tail sections of the body; the seminal vesicles simple, without internal complex compartments; the presence of two pairs of lateral fins. The only family assigned to the new order, Biphragmosagittidae fam. nov., contains two genera. Diagnoses of the two new genera, Biphragmosagitta gen. nov. (type species B. tarasovi sp. nov. and B. angusticephala sp. nov.) and Biphragmofastigata gen. nov. (type species B. fastigata sp. nov.), detailed descriptions and pictures of the three new species are presented.

Colombia is a new record for Baluba, Jalorpa, Panolidia, Sapingia and Stalolidia; Panama for Licontinia; Peru for Hastalidia and Ecuador for Stalolidia. The type-species name, Coelidia marginata Stål, for Harasupia Nielson, 1979 was incorrectly cited as Harasupia marginata (Stål) and is corrected herein.

Species from artesian springs associated with the Queensland Great Artesian Basin that were previously included in the tateid genus Jardinella are included in three new genera, namely Eulodrobia, with six species, five of them new and all from the Eulo Supergroup; Springvalia, with one species from the Springvale Supergroup; and Carnarvoncochlea with two previously-described species, from the Carnarvon Supergroup. The genus Edgbastonia is extended to include eight previously described species, in addition to the type species, and four new species-group taxa from the Barcaldine Supergroup springs; all but the type species are included in the new subgenus Barcaldinia. Three new species from non-artesian springs in north Queensland are included in Edgbastonia, one of them tentatively. Two additional related new genera, both with a single new species, are described from outside the Great Artesian Basin; Conondalia from southeast Queensland and Nundalia from north-eastern New South Wales. The genus Jardinella, previously used for all the Queensland spring tateids, is here restricted to three species found in coastal rivers and streams in northeast Queensland. A molecular phylogenetic analysis using COI and 16S mitochondrial genes in combination suggests that the Queensland Great Artesian Basin taxa may be more closely related to the tateid genera Austropyrgus, Pseudotricula, Posticobia and Potamopyrgus than to the South Australian GAB taxa, thus indicating the separate origins of these two desert spring faunas.

As a result of recent expeditions to two mountains in the Amazon basin, Tapirapecó and Pico da Neblina, two new genera ofStygnidae, Imeri g. nov. (type species Imeri lomanhungae sp. nov.) and Jime g. nov. (type species Jime chifrudo sp. nov.), andten new species are described: Auranus hehu sp. nov., Auranus tepui sp. nov., Imeri lomanhungae sp. nov.; Jime chifrudo sp.nov.; Stygnoplus ianomami sp. nov.; Stygnus magalhaesi sp. nov.; Stygnoplus neblina sp. nov.; Stygnoplus tapirapeco sp. nov.;Stygnus nogueirai sp. nov., Stygnus kuryi sp. nov.. Additionally, new distributional records in Amazonas (Brazil) are presentedfor Stygnidius guerinii Soerensen, 1932, Minax tetraspinosus Pinto-da-Rocha, 1997 and Protimesius longipalpis (Roewer, 1943). Keys for genera of Heterostygninae and Stygninae are provided.

AbstractFungi can colonize most of the substrata on Earth. Honey, a sugary food produced by bees (and other insects) has been studied little in terms of its fungal diversity. We have surveyed and evaluated the presence of xerotolerant and xerophilic fungi in a set of honey bee samples collected from across Spain. From 84 samples, a total of 104 fungal strains were isolated, and morphologically and phylogenetically characterized. We identified 32 species distributed across 16 genera, most of them belonging to the ascomycetous genera Aspergillus, Bettsia, Candida, Eremascus, Monascus, Oidiodendron, Penicillium, Skoua, Talaromyces and Zygosaccharomyces. As a result of this survey, eight new taxa are proposed: i.e. the new family Helicoarthrosporaceae, two new genera, Helicoarthrosporum and Strongyloarthrosporum in Onygenales; three new species of Eurotiales, Talaromyces affinitatimellis, T. basipetosporus, and T. brunneosporus; and two new species of Myxotrichaceae, Oidiodendron mellicola, and Skoua asexualis.

Two new genera and four new species of the mite family Neopygmephoridae (Acari: Pygmephoroidea) are described from the alpine zone (1600–1900 m a.s.l.) of the Central Otago region of the South Island of New Zealand: Protobakerdania Khaustov and Minor gen. nov. with the type species Pygmephorus togatus Willmann, 1942, Neobakerdania Khaustov and Minor gen. nov. with the type species Neobakerdania pilosa Khaustov and Minor sp. nov., and the species Protobakerdania diseta Khaustov and Minor sp. nov., Troxodania minuta Khaustov and Minor sp. nov., and Bakerdania alpina Khaustov and Minor sp. nov. New nassellarian radiolarians are described from the Insular and Intermontane belts of the Canadian Cordillera in British Columbia. Two new genera (Atalanta n.gen. and Nitrader n.gen.) and three new species (Atalanta emmela n.gen., n.sp., Atalanta epaphrodita n.gen., n.sp., and Nitrader montegufonensis n.gen., n.sp.) were found in Lower Jurassic carbonate concretions of the Sandilands Formation of the Queen Charlotte Islands and in a chert pebble extracted from a Cretaceous conglomerate of the Intermontane Belt possibly correlative with the Spences Bridge Group. The discovery of new taxa within two distinct belts of the Canadian Cordillera stresses their biostratigraphic significance.

Two new genera, i.e. Kolevia gen. nov. and Microstygia gen. nov., in addition to the five subterranean species were described here as new for science: Kolevia bulgarica n. gen. n. sp., Microstygia deltchevi n. gen. n. sp., Bythiospeum iltchoi n. sp., Belgrandiella lomica n. sp., and Belgrandiella delevae n. sp. The type species of the new genera are designated, holotypes of the new species are depicted, and a map with the sampling sites is provided.
