Types of two species of monkey moths (Eupterotidae, Lepidoptera) described by Johan Christian Fabricius were located and are here figured for the first time, and lectotypes are designated for both species. The lectotype of Bombyx hibisci Fabricius 1775 is a male from the Hunterian Museum (Glasgow). The lectotype of Bombyx orientalis Fabricius 1793, originally listed from “Dom. Lund” was found in the Zoological Museum—University of Copenhagen (as temporarily loan from the Zoological Museum of Kiel University) with an old incorrect identification label. Both species are members of the genus Eupterote Hübner, 1820 (so-called Brachytera-lineage).                The following new synonymy can thus be established: Eupterote orientalis (Fabricius, 1793), comb. nov. (= Dreata geminata Walker 1855, syn. nov., syn. corr.; = Eupterote geminata var. hebes Grünberg 1914, syn. nov.; = Dreata anada Moore 1860, syn. nov., = Brachytera phalaenaria C. & R. Felder, 1874, syn. nov., = Eupterote auriflua Moore, 1884, syn. nov.).          The type locality for orientalis originally given as “India orientali” is likely to be Sri Lanka.          The related taxon, Eupterote gardneri Bryk, 1950, stat. nov. is established as valid species (bona species) with the a new synonym, Eupterote bifasciata Kishida, 1994, syn. nov.          Eupterote primularis Moore, 1884 is considered a distinct species native to Central and Southern India.

A complete list of the type material of Mordellidae described by Achille Costa is provided. Mordellistena picipes Costa, 1854 stat. restit. is restored as a valid species and a diagnostic description of the lectotype is given. Natirrica meridionalis Costa, 1854 is proposed as a new synonym of Mordellistena humeralis (Linnaeus, 1758). Lectotypes and paralectotypes are designated for the following taxa: Tomoxia bucephala Costa, 1854; Mordella coronata Costa, 1854 (= Variimorda villosa (Schrank, 1781)); M. interrupta Costa, 1854 (= Variimorda villosa (Schrank, 1781)); M. brevicauda Costa, 1854 (= M. brachyura Mulsant, 1856); M. perspicillata Costa, 1854 (= Mediimorda bipunctata Germar, 1827); M. viridescens Costa, 1859; Variimorda basalis (Costa, 1854); Mordellistena stricta Costa, 1854 (= M. pumila (Gyllenhal, 1810)); M. picipes Costa, 1854; M. confinis Costa, 1854; M. minima Costa, 1854; Natirrica meridionalis Costa, 1854 (= Mordellistena humeralis (Linnaeus, 1758)). The male genitalia of the Variimorda basalis lectotype are illustrated here for the first time. Photographs of the labels are provided for the type specimens.

AbstractSpecimens of the fishes Siganus spinus L. (Siganidae) and Sargocentron spiniferum Forsskål (Holocentridae) were caught in the Red Sea off the coast of Sharm El-Sheikh, South Sinai, Egypt. Twenty-three (46%) and 12 (20%) of these fishes, respectively, were found to harbour intestinal trematodes. Siganus spinus was parasitized by Helicometra marmoratae Nagaty et Abdel-Aal, 1962 (Opecoelidae Ozaki, 1925) and S. spiniferum by Helicometra aegyptense sp. nov. (Opecoelidae Ozaki, 1925). Based on a large number of specimens collected from its type host and locality, H. marmoratae is broadly redescribed for the first time, and its type specimen is re-examined. The validity of this species is discussed and considered a new synonym of H. fasciata (Rudolphi, 1819) Odhner, 1902 (type species of the genus). Helicometra aegyptense sp. nov. is similar to H. equilata (Manter, 1933) Siddiqi et Cable, 1960, H. nasae Nagaty et Abdel-Aal, 1962, H. pteroisi (Gupta, 1956) Fischthal et Kuntz, 1965 and H. interrupta Hassanine, 2005 in having a short forebody and a long cirrus sac extending posterior to the ventral sucker, but differs significantly from them or unique in having a distinctly elongate pharynx, a larger sucker ratio and vitelline follicles grouped in small clusters arranged in two lateral rows on each side of the body. The valid species of Helicometra are listed in four principal groups.

Here it is shown that Loneura crenata Navás, 1927 and Loneura ocotensis García Aldrete are distinct species, so the previously proposed synonymy of the latter with the first is not valid. Illustrations of the L. crenata holotype, deposited in the Hamburg University Zoological Museum, are here presented for the first time.

Two species of the mud shrimp genus Upogebia Leach, 1814 (Gebiidea: Upogebiidae) are recorded from India for the first time based on material from Tamil Nadu: U. hexaceras (Ortmann, 1894) and U. nithyanandan (Sakai, Türkay & Al Aidaroos, 2015). Both were found in burrows in an unidentified sponge. Upogebia nithyanandan is resurrected as a valid species from the synonymy of U. balmaorum Ngoc-Ho, 1990, recently proposed by Dworschak & Poore (2018). The two species are fully described and illustrated on the basis of the newly collected specimens, and diagnostic characters for species recognition are discussed.

The genus Indocloeon Müller-Liebenau 1982 (s. l.) is divided into two subgenera, the subgenus Indocloeon (s. str.) and the subgenus Hindocloeon subgen. n. which differ one from another by certain characters of larvae, winged stages and eggs. The subgenus Indocloeon is distributed in Sri Lanka only and includes two species, Indocloeon (Indocloeon) primum Müller-Liebenau 1982, and Indocloeon (Indocloeon) secundum sp. n., which are described here based on larvae, subimagines, imagines of both sexes and eggs associated by rearing. The subgenus Hindocloeon (type species Indocloeon indonesiae Kluge 2012) is widely distributed in the Oriental region. A new species Indocloeon (Hindocloeon) continentale sp. n. is described from Thailand based on larvae, subimagines, imagines of both sexes and eggs associated by rearing; subimagines presumably placed in this species, are reported from southern India. Some characters of Indocloeon (Hindocloeon) indonesiae Kluge 2012 are illustrated for the first time. The species originally described as Cloeon longistylus Demoulin 1969 is placed in Indocloeon as Indocloeon (Hindocloeon) longistylus comb. n. Subimagines of two unnamed species of Hindocloeon are reported from Vietnam and Java. Keys to known larvae and imagines are given.

Nine species of Ancylosis are recorded from Ukraine. Ancylosis larissae sp. nov. related to A. hellenica (Staudinger, 1870) and A. rhodochrella (Herrich-Schäffer, 1852), is described from Crimea. Ancylosis albicosta (Staudinger, 1870) is reported from Ukraine for the first time. Ancylosis albidella Ragonot, 1888, A. syrtella (Ragonot, 1887), A. rhodochrella, A. harmoniella (Ragonot, 1887) and A. monella Roesler, 1973 are removed from the list of Pyralidae of Ukraine due to misidentifications. The host plants for A. sareptalla (Herrich-Schäffer, 1861) and A. substratellum (Christoph, 1877) comb. nov. are recorded for the first time. New host plant is recorded for A. roscidella (Eversmann, 1844). The diagnoses for all species known from Ukraine are provided. The adults and genitalia of both sexes are illustrated for all Ukrainian species and some closely related species from adjacent territories. A key to the species is given based on external characters and the genitalia of both sexes. The female genitalia of A. deserticola (Staudinger, 1870), A. hellenica (Staudinger, 1870), A. sabulosella (Staudinger, 1879) as well as the male genitalia of A. pallida (Staudinger, 1870) are described and illustrated as they have been dealt incorrectly in literature. The status of A. albidella and the records of this species from Europe are discussed. The new synonymy is proposed: Ancylosoma Roesler, 1973 syn. nov. of Ancylosis Zeller, 1839 and A. sareptalla gulbaharensis Roesler, 1973 syn. nov. of A. sareptalla (Herrich-Schäffer, 1861). Ancylosis decolorella (Ragonot & Hampson, 1901) spec. rev., stat. nov. is taken out from synonymy with A. sabulosella. The lectotype of Myelois deserticola Staudinger, 1870 is designated.

Ceraeochrysa Adams is the largest genus in Chrysopini with 62 valid species distributed in the New World. The taxonomy of this group is complex and largely based on male genitalic characters. There are still serious complications, especially with the species that have been described solely from female specimens. The male of C. montoyana (Navás, 1913), unknown previously, is herein described for the first time, and compared with its closest relative, C. claveri (Navás, 1911). Ceraeochrysa acutipuppis Adams & Penny, 1985 is designated as a junior synonym of C. fairchildi (Banks, 1946) based on the evidence that both species share external morphological features uncommon in other species of the genus. The species C. claveri, C. fairchildi and C. montoyana are recorded from Venezuela for the first time. External morphology and genitalia of these insects are described and illustrated.
