The application of high-speed real-time data acquisition is becoming increasingly wide spread in industrial field, and its measurement accuracy is also increasing. The closed-loop test system of sine wave signal is constructed by the RIGOL’s DG1022 dual-channel signal source, DS1102C oscilloscope and PCI7489 multifunctional data acquisition card. Three kinds of timing methods, such as Visual Basics (VB) Timer control, multimedia timer function timing and query performance frequency function timing method, were carried out a series of comparative experiments. This paper analyzes the correlation characteristics of the measured voltage peak data, which includes mean value, variance, standard deviation, range, mutation system, deviation, kurtosis and so on, and then finds out the influence rules of software timing error on data acquisition and measurement accuracy. In the high-speed data acquisition, the repeatability error can be reduced from 84.22% to 0.62%, which provides scientific basis and reference for selecting software timing method in different test environment.

The remote network experiment is to remotely operate laboratory equipment to complete real experiment in different places through the Internet. This paper takes the comprehensive sensor experiment of the course Mechanical engineering testing technology as an example and designs a set of comprehensive remote sensor experiment system based on B/S model and configuration platform. The system is composed of a control system and a test system. The platform of kingview and the module of data acquisition using single-chip computer are used in the control system which communicates through the ModbusRTU protocol to realize data acquisition and the control function of output. The test system is based on Ethernet and composed of AD converter and DDE program. It realizes real-time data acquisition and high speed data transmission through the TCP/IP network. This system not only has the function of appointment course for students, but also greatly enhances students' learning ability by joining new design of experimental modules. The system has good reusability, scalability and maintainability.

A solution of intelligent test system for mechanical property of geotextile material which based on high speed data acquisition card PCI-1714 is introduced in this paper. Microprocessor and drive card PCI-1240 are also used to control and drive the test equipment. The article discussed in detail the system’s overall design, the hardware structure, software design, and process of data acquisition. Software is designed by Visual Basic 6.0. This paper research and implement on accurate measurement of mechanics performance of geotextile material.

New standards in the automotive industry highlighted the situation of the actual operation of the alternator and a variety of harsh environment simulation limit test. Using new standards in the automotive industry as a guide, this article presents a virtual instrument based on the durability of automobile generator integrated test system. The design adopt virtual instrument technology in designing the system, Graphic language, LabVIEW is applied in writing measure-control program. The system uses a lot of features on LABVIEW, including Data acquisition, control of serials port, etc. Test implementation uses the host computer via RS232 and RS485 communication port and the data acquisition card, NI PCI- 6221, to control the frequency hybrid motor, temperature control box, electronic loads and other intelligent devices, and to simulate a variety of automotive alternator working conditions and real-time monitoring to monitor the status of generators. Using this system, two separate automobile alternators can be tested in terms of high-speed vehicle impact and high temperature durability test and electrical performance test and other tests at the same time. As a result, the generator speed measurement error is within 1%, the control error is within 2%, voltage and current measurement errors were within 0.5% and 0.4%, which meets the requirements.

Abstract Since the study in the field of fusion has gradually developed toward the long-pulse experiment mode, long-pulse data has gradually become one of the main data types for pulsed experiments in the field of fusion. For long-pulse data, which is a kind of pulse-type data, it will be more difficult to transmit and store than short-pulse data because of its significant characteristics. In addition, in the design of data acquisition and control system (DACS) in fusion field, Experimental Physics and Industrial Control System (EPICS) has now gradually become the main framework of experimental control system to meet the diversity of devices and complexity of subsystems in large experimental system. However, due to the limitation of EPICS, its effectiveness in handling data transmission and storage under high speed data acquisition is not satisfactory. To solve the data transmission and storage under high-speed sampling, this paper proposes a data transmission and storage solution based on TCP/IP protocol and MDSplus database, which is designed with the concept of segmentation, i.e., data generated from experiments longer than 100 seconds are uploaded and stored in a segmented form. Currently, this system has been tested and applied, and the test result shows that the solution is feasible and the overall test system operates stably and reliably.

Data acquisition and record system plays an important role in signal processing. For the wideband signal acquisition and processing application, such as 3G/4G Base Stations, Wideband Microwave Backhaul, Military Communications, and RADAR, the need for high speed and smart software-defined radio (SDR) test platform is growing. In this paper, we implement a high compact form factor data acquisition and storage system used for the wideband signal application development. In order to implement high compact, low power and high speed real-time data storage, we use a PCIe-based switch architecture and leverage the Flash array as the storage part. The system supports RF sampling directly and offers a 16TB solid state storage module which could be read and write at the sustained speed of 12.8GB/s.

Quality characteristics of steel workpiece and their inspection methods are introduced, and the influencing factors of surface quality are analyzed by quality tools. A set of inspection scheme for cutting temperature and cutting force on-line monitoring is worked out. Thin film thermocouple technology was introduced to measure the dynamic temperature which affects the surface quality characteristics of steel workpieces. A system for measuring cutting temperature and cutting force has been developed. A high speed data acquisition card ADlink PCI-9118HG is used to acquire the temperature and force signals. Simple and friendly human-machine interface was programmed with the application of VC++ technology and Tchart controllor to achieve real-time data acquisition, display and analysis of cutting temperature and cutting force. It was concluded from the experiment that the data acquisition and measuring system is easy and flexible to use.
