The clinical course of 54 patients with small lymphocytic lymphoma (SL) was reviewed. The majority of patients had disseminated lymphoma at the time of diagnosis; 14 patients (26%) presented with Ann Arbor stage I and II disease. Five- and 10-year survival for all patients was 76% and 49%. The only clinicopathologic features identified that predicted a shortened survival were the presence or absence of systemic (B) symptoms (15% v 63% at 10 years, P = .01) and a diffuse rather than pseudofollicular nodal architecture (47% v 87% at 10 years, P = .04). Initial bone marrow involvement was not an adverse prognostic factor for patients who presented with stage III and IV disease. Ten patients developed a marked lymphocytosis consistent with progression to a leukemic phase (chronic lymphocytic leukemia [CLL]). These ten patients had a median initial lymphocyte count of 2,790, compared with 1,580 for those patients who did not progress to CLL (P = .0001). Developing CLL did not adversely affect survival (P = .48). Thirty-seven patients were treated with various combinations of radiation and chemotherapy; 17 patients received no initial therapy. Ten-year freedom from relapse (FFR) for stage I and II patients treated with irradiation was 80% and 62%; FFR for stage III and IV treated patients was 11%. Despite the marked differences in FFR, no statistically significant difference in survival could be demonstrated between the various stages. Selected patients with advanced SL received no initial therapy; these patients had a 10-year survival that was not statistically different from the immediately treated stage III and IV patients. Patients with stage I and II SL should be treated with irradiation; prolonged FFR and possibly cure of the disease can be achieved in these patients.

Abstract Hodgkin’s Disease (HD) is the most common lymphoma affecting young adults and teenagers. Bone marrow involvement is rare but if present, infers Stage IV disease and an inferior outcome. Adult studies have suggested that bone marrow examination (BME) may not be necessary unless certain risk factors are present. However, some pediatric centers continue to perform BME routinely on all children with HD. BME is invasive and generally performed under conscious sedation in children. We validated and administered an internet-based survey to examine the practice of all Canadian pediatric oncologists regarding BME in children with HD. We also retrospectively evaluated the impact of routine BME on the HD patients treated at our institution over the past 27 years. Forty-three percent of eligible physicians (n=93) completed the survey and 16 of a total of 17 Canadian pediatric oncology centers were represented. BME universally consisted of bilateral bone marrow aspirates and trephine biopsies. Routine BME for Stage III and IV disease was consistently practised nationally (by 92% and 97% of respondents, respectively). By contrast, 54% and 70% of respondents reported performing routine BME in low stage (Stage I and II) disease, respectively. Respondents were more likely to report performing routine BME in low stage patients, if their pediatric hematology/oncology training was entirely outside Canada (p=0.04 for Stage I and p=0.07 for Stage II) and if they practiced at smaller centers (p=0.05 for Stage I and p=0.03 for Stage II). There were no differences in practice regarding BME associated with the number of years in practice or the number of patients seen annually by the respondent. If not part of routine staging for all patients, BME was more likely performed if there were “B” symptoms, cytopenias, and/or bulky disease. Most respondents (95%) would proceed with BME following a positive PET scan. In the review of local institutional practice, 62 patients with HD and BME were eligible for analysis. Only 4 patients (6.5%) had a positive BME. No patient with otherwise low stage disease was found to have bone marrow involvement. Two patients, who would have been assigned as Stage III disease, were upstaged to Stage IV due to their BME. Comparison of staging with and without BME demonstrated no significant difference. Hemoglobin level was found to be the to be the only significant risk factor for marrow involvement based on univariate analysis(put in statisticp=0.006). Age, gender, histologic subtype, presence of “B” symptoms, and other blood parameters (white count, platelets, ESR and transaminases) were not significant factors. Practice regarding BME in children with low stage HD is highly variable across Canada. Bone marrow examination in pediatric patients with low stage HD should be abandoned, unless there is a specific indication to do so (for example positive PET scan or unexplained anemia). Moreover, BME does not appear to add any additional therapeutic direction for higher stage patients.

Abstract The FCR combination in a phase III study (Blood 102, abstract #373, p110a,2003) has shown promising results in the treatment of chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL) patients leading in increase of proportion of complete remissions and improved survival. Based on these encouraging results we tried to study the efficacy and safety of the FCR combination in patients of our Haematologic Unit. Seventeen patients, 8 males and 9 females with a median age of 69,5 years old, with relapsed/refractory or de novo CLPD ( 9 CLL and 8 NHL patients) were enrolled in this study between February 2002 and August 2004. Fifty percent of CLL patients had Rai stage I/II and the rest 50% had Rai stage III/IV disease. Four NHL patients had also Ann Arbor stage I/II and the rest four Ann Arbor stage III/IV disease. They were treated with Rituximab 375 mg/m2 on day1 in combination with Fludarabine and Cyclophosphamide ( 25 mg/m2 and 250 mg/m2 respectively) for days 2 to 4, every 4 weeks, for 6 consecutive cycles. Nine patients had a history of a prior unsuccessful treatment. Overall, 14 out of 17 evaluable patients were responsive to the treatment [12 patients complete response (CR) and 2 patients partial response (PR), overall response rate (ORR) 82%]. The remaining 3 patients did not show any response (NR), 2 progressive and 1 stable disease. Hematological toxicity was acceptable ( grade 2–3 neutropenia in 6/17 patients, grade 2–3 anemia and thrombocytopenia in 2/17 patients). There were no septic episodes except one case with neutropenic fever. There were no adverse events like nausea or vomiting except one patient with a serious anaphylactic reaction due to Rituximab administration. Three CLL patients died because of stable or progressive disease. In conclusion, this preliminary report suggests that the FCR regimen is an effective and safe treatment for CLPD patients, achieving higher CR rates than previous treatments. A longer follow up of a larger number of patients is required to confirm an improved survival in these patients.

Abstract Background Cardiac wild type transthyretin (ATTRwt) amyloidosis, formerly known as senile systemic amyloidosis, is an increasingly recognized, progressive, and fatal cardiomyopathy. Two biomarkers staging systems were proposed based on NT-proBNP (in both cases) and troponin or estimated glomerular filtration rate, that are able to predict survival in this population. The availability of novel effective treatments requires large studies to describe the natural history of the disease in different populations. Objective To describe the natural history of the disease in a large, prospective, national series. Methods Starting in 2007, we protocolized data collection in all the patients diagnosed at our center (n=400 up to 7/2019). Results The referrals to our center increased over time: 5 cases (1%) between 2007–2009, 33 (9%) in 2010–2012, 90 (22%) in 2013–2015 and 272 (68%) in 2016–2019. Median age was 76 years [interquartile range (IQR): 71–80 years] and 372 patients (93%) were males. One hundred and seventy-three (43%) had atrial fibrillation, 63 (15%) had a history of ischemic cardiomyopathy and 64 (15%) underwent pacemaker or ICD implantation. NYHA class was I in 58 subjects (16%), II in 225 (63%) and III in 74 (21%). Median NT-proBNP was 3064 ng/L (IQR: 1817–5579 ng/L), troponin I 0.096 ng/mL (IQR: 0.063–0.158 ng/mL), eGFR 62 mL/min (IQR: 50–78 mL/min). Median IVS was 17 mm (IQR: 15–19 mm), PW 16 mm (IQR: 14–18 mm) and EF 53% (IQR: 45–57%). One-hundred and forty-eight subjects (37%) had a concomitant monoclonal component in serum and/or urine and/or an abnormal free light chain ratio. In these patients, the diagnosis was confirmed by immunoelectron microscopy or mass spectrometry. In 252 (63%) the diagnosis was based on bone scintigraphy. DNA analysis for amyloidogenic mutations in transthyretin and apolipoprotein A-I genes was negative in all subjects. The median survival of the whole cohort was 59 months. The Mayo Clinic staging based on NT-proBNP (cutoff: 3000 ng/L) and troponin I (cutoff: 0.1 ng/mL) discriminated 3 different groups [stage I: 131 (35%), stage II: 123 (32%) and stage III: 127 (33%)] with different survival between stage I and II (median 86 vs. 81 months, P=0.04) and between stage II and III (median 81 vs. 62 months, P<0.001). The UK staging system (NT-proBNP 3000 ng/L and eGFR 45 mL/min), discriminated three groups [stage I: 170 (45%), stage II: 165 (43%) and stage III: 45 (12%)] with a significant difference in survival: between stage I and stage II (86 vs. 52 months, P<0.001) and between stage II and stage III (median survival 52 vs. 33 months, P=0.045). Conclusions This is one of the largest series of patients with cardiac ATTRwt reported so far. Referrals and diagnoses increased exponentially in recent years, One-third of patients has a concomitant monoclonal gammopathy and needed tissue typing. To evaluate the role of mediastinal irradiation (RT) following surgery for invasive thymomas, a clinical and pathologic review of 117 patients with the diagnosis of thymoma was completed. Fourteen cases were excluded because of the lack of histologic criteria for a thymic tumor, and the remaining 103 were classified according to a staging system as follows: stage I, completely encapsulated (43); stage II, extension through the capsule or pericapsular fat invasion (21); stage III, invasion of adjacent structures (36); and stage IV, thoracic dissemination or metastases (3). The 5-year actuarial survival and relapse-free survival rates were 67% and 100% for stage I, 86% and 58% for stage II, and 69% and 53% for stage III. No recurrences occurred among stage I patients after total resection without RT. However, eight of 21 patients with invasive (stage II or III) thymomas had mediastinal recurrence as the first site of failure following total resection without RT. The 5-year actuarial mediastinal relapse rate of 53% in this group compares unfavorably with the mediastinal relapse rate seen among stage II or III cases following total resection with RT (0%) or following subtotal resection/biopsy with RT (21%). Despite attempted salvage therapy, five of eight patients with mediastinal relapse following total resection alone died of progressive disease. No significant difference was observed in the local relapse rate, overall relapse rate, or survival between those patients undergoing biopsy and RT v subtotal resection and RT for invasive thymomas (stages II and III). Total resection alone appears to be inadequate therapy resulting in an unacceptably high local failure rate with poor salvage therapy results.

Merkel cell carcinoma (MCC) is a rare and aggressive epidermal cancer. We conducted a retrospective study and literature review to investigate the impact that radiation therapy has on local, regional, and distant control as part of the oncologic management of MCC of the head and neck and to further elucidate the role of radiation therapy with regard to regional control for the clinically uninvolved neck. We reviewed all registered cases of head and neck MCC that had occurred at four institutions from January 1988 through December 2005. Treatment and outcomes data were collected on patients with American Joint Committee on Cancer stage I, II, and III tumors. Local, regional, and distant control rates were calculated by comparing variables with the Fisher exact test; Kaplan-Meier analysis was used to report actuarial control data. Stage I to III head and neck MCC was identified in 36 patients— 22 men and 14 women, aged 43 to 97 years (mean: 71.6) at diagnosis. Patients with stage I and II tumors were combined into one group, and their data were compared with those of patients with stage III tumors. Twenty-sixpatients(72%) had clinical stage I/II disease and 10 patients (28%) had clinical stage III disease. Median follow-up was 41 months for the stage I/II group and 19 months for the stage III group. Based on examination at final follow-up visits, local recurrence was seen in 7 of the 36 patients (19%), for a local control rate of 81 %. The 2-year actuarial local control rate for all stages of MCC was 83%; by treatment subgroup, the rates were 95% for those who had undergone radiation therapy to the primary site and 69%) for those who had not— a statistically significant difference(p = 0.020). Based on information obtained at final follow-ups, 10 of the 36 patients (28%) experienced a regional recurrence, for a regional control rate of 72%. The 2-year actuarial regional control rate among all patients was 70%; by subgroup, rates were 82%) for patients who had undergone regional node radiation therapy and 60% for those who had not— not a statistically significant difference (p = 0.225). Nine patients (25%) overall developed a distant metastasis, for a distant control rate of 75%. Salvage therapies included chemotherapy and/or radiation therapy to the metastatic site, but neither had any significant effect on survival. Regardless of treatment, the Kaplan-Meier survival curves leveled off at 30 months with 82% survival for the stage I/II group and at 19 months with 60% survival for the stage III group. We conclude that radiation therapy to the primary tumor site (either following resection or definitively) results in a local control rate of more than 90% in patients with head and neck MCC. We also found a trend toward improved regional control of the clinically negative neck with the addition of radiation therapy.

Abstract Cytokines, such as MIP-1a (macrophage inhibiting factor) and OPG (osteoprotegerin) are assumed to play a role in MM disease biology and bone disease, by mechanisms that are still under investigation. MIP-1a is constitutively secreted by myeloma cells, plays a possible role in the development of MM bone lesions, enhance MM cell adhesion to stromal cells and its serum levels have been recently related to survival in MM. OPG is a soluble decoy receptor which acts as a soluble receptor antagonist that prevents osteoclasts activation and the development of bone disease. Reported findings on serum OPG levels in MM patients are controversial as well as its possible role in the biology of the disease. In order to investigate the possible relationship of MIP-1a and OPG levels in MM patients with prognosis and bone disease, we determined by ELISA serum MIP-1a and OPG levels in 20 MGUS, 82 MM patients and 27 healthy individuals (HI). Both cytokines were determined by ELISA (R&D, Quantikine, USA) in frozen sera collected at dignosis, before treatment. The median age of MM patients was 69 years (44–84) and 50% were males. MM patients’ stage was as follows: 23 stage I, 28 stage II, 31 stage III according to Durie-Salmon staging system and 27 stage I, 17 stage II, 35 stage III according to the International Scoring System (ISS). In HI median MIP-1a was 28 pg/ml (15–54) and median OPG 1600 pg/ml (450–4600). In subjects with MGUS, median MIP-1a was 34 pg/ml (17–58) and median OPG 2300 pg/ml (820–6200). In MM patients, median pretreatment serum MIP-1a was 32 pg/ml (16–100) and OPG 3000 pg/ml (820–25000). No statistical significant difference was observed between HI, MGUS and MM patients with regard to MIP-1a levels but for OPG levels differences between HI and MM patients and between MGUS and MM patients were both significant (0.01 and 0.05 respectively). No relationship was found between MIP-1a or OPG levels and bone disease. However, there was a trend for longer survival in patients with MIP-1a or OPG levels lower than median (5-year overall survival 60 ± 12 vs 38 ± 14, p=0.08 and 66 ± 13 vs 29 ± 13, p=0.07 respectively). In addition MIP-1a levels were correlated with ISS stage: MIP-1a levels were 28.3±11.3 in ISS stage 1, 29.8±11.1 in ISS stage 2, 39±19.2 in ISS stage 3 (p=0.02). In conclusion, in our experience serum OPG levels are higher in MM patients than in MGUS or HI, MIP-1a levels are correlated with the ISS stage and both high serum MIP-1a and OPG levels at diagnosis are related with a shorter survival.

Abstract Abstract 415 Background: The ability to cure patients (pts) with advanced Hodgkin's Lymphoma (HL) with combination chemotherapy (CC) (MOPP and variants, ABVD and variants) represented a major milestone in oncology research, and CC became a paradigm for other malignancies. Further, the rationale for combined modality therapy (CMT) (radiation (RT) and CC) in HL evolved based on the high frequency of relapse in initially involved sites. As response rates and survival improved, newer treatments such as the combined modality Stanford V regimen were developed to shorten the duration of chemotherapy, add RT to sites of disease and reduce toxicity while maintaining or improving the cure rate. Indeed, the Stanford V regimen was tested and validated in a Phase II co-operative group trial (E1492) (J Clin Oncol 2000; 18:972). In order to investigate this approach against “standard” therapy, we conducted a randomized Phase III Intergroup trial of ABVD vs. the Stanford V regimen for patients with locally extensive or advanced HL. Objectives: The trial was designed to detect a 33% reduction in the failure free survival (FFS) hazard rate with Stanford V compared with ABVD, which corresponds to a difference in five-year FFS of 64% vs. 74%. Method: Patients with locally extensive (defined as clinical Ann Arbor Stage I-IIA/B and bulky mediastinal disease (BMD) (mass > 1/3 maximum intrathoracic diameter on standing postero-anterior chest x-ray or >/−10 cm on computerized tomography) or advanced (Ann Arbor Stage III or IV) HL were randomized to receive either ABVD × 6–8 cycles (C) (51% had 6 C, 35% had 8 C, 14% had <6 C) + 36 Gy (only in pts with BMD) or Stanford V × 12 weeks (95% had 12 weeks) + 36 Gy (for sites >5cm or for macroscopic splenic disease). The log-rank test was used to compare FFS for all eligible patients stratified on extent of disease (locally extensive vs. advanced), and number of International Prognostic Factor Project (IPFP) risk factors (0–2 vs. 3–7). An extended Cox model was also used to address non-proportional hazard between the two arms. Results: 854 pts enrolled from April, 1999 to June, 2006 and 812 were eligible for analysis. 404 pts were randomized to ABVD and 408 to Stanford V. Median age was 33 yrs in both arms (range 16–83). 53% were men and 47% women; 4% had Stage I, 31% had Stage II, 39% had Stage III and 25% had Stage IV disease by Ann Arbor criteria. 35% of pts on ABVD and 35% on Stanford V had BMD. Three % of pts had nodular lymphocyte predominant HL, 77% of pts had nodular sclerosis HL, 14% had mixed cell HL. Age, stage, pathology and risk factors (0–2 vs. 3–7) were similar in both arms. In total, 65% were IPFP score 0–2 and 33% were 3–6. Response rate. There was no difference in response rates (RR) between the two arms (ABVD=72% CR+ CCR, 7.7% PR, 7.9% SD; Stanford V= 69 % CR +CCR, 7% PR and 10 % SD. 8% were not evaluable for response on ABVD and 9% on Stanford V. Toxicity was similar in both groups. The most frequent Grade 3 + 4 toxicity was neutropenia, and was similar between the 2 groups (76% Grade 3 + 4 in ABVD and 70% Grade 3+ 4 in Stanford V). Grade 5 toxicity was <1% in both groups. There was, however, more Grade 3 lymphopenia in Stanford V (78% vs. 42%, p< 0.0001) and more Grade 3 +4 sensory neuropathy in Stanford V (10%) than in ABVD (3%) (p< 0.0001). A total of 26 second primary cancers developed, 12 after ABVD and 14 after Stanford V (p=NS). FFS and OS. For 812 eligible patients, with a median follow up of 5.25 years, 5-year FFS was 73% for ABVD and 71% for Stanford V (p=0.29 by log rank) (Figure left); 5-year OS was 88% for ABVD and 87% for Stanford V (p=0.87 by log-rank, HR=0.97, 95% CI: 0.65 to 1.44) (Figure right) indicating no significant difference in either FFS or OS between the 2 arms. Conclusion: In the largest Phase III intergroup trial of HL in North America, there was no significant difference in RR, FFS, OS, and 5-year toxicity when ABVD (+ RT for BMD) is compared with Stanford V (+RT for nodal sites >5 cm and macroscopic splenic disease). There was more Grade 3 lymphopenia (p< 0.0001) and more Grade 3 + 4 sensory neuropathy (p< 0.0001) on Stanford V. Thus ABVD (plus RT for BMD) remains the standard of care because Stanford V did not meet the objective of 33% improvement in FFS. Background: Semaphorins play prominent roles in physiological and pathological processes such as vascular development, tumor growth and immune responses. Semaphorins have different roles in various kinds of cancers, but there is no study concerning their expression in the chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL). This study aimed to assess the SEMA3A, SEMA4A and SEMA4D expression in patients with CLL.  Materials and Methods: Peripheral blood specimens were collected from 30 newly-diagnosed untreated patients with CLL and 30 healthy subjects as a control group. The SEMA3A, SEMA4A and SEMA4D expression was determined by real-time PCR method.  Results: The fold change expression of SEMA3A and SEMA4D was 7.58 ± 2.66 and 3.20 ± 0.99 in patients with CLL, and was 1.01 ± 0.31 and 1.00 ± 0.27 in healthy subjects, respectively. The CLL patients expressed higher amounts of SEMA3A and SEMA4D in comparison with healthy subjects (P<0.02 and P<0.03, respectively). The fold change expression of SEMA3A in patients with stage II (11.12 ± 5.35) was also higher than patients with stage I (4.49 ± 1.61, P<0.05). No significant difference was also observed in the expression of SEMA4A and SEMA4D between patients with stage I and stage II CLL. In both CLL and control groups, the fold change expression of SEMA3A was higher in men than in women (P<0.03 and P<0.02, respectively). Conclusion: The results of the study indicated elevated expression of the SEMA3A and SEMA4D in patients with CLL. The SEMA3A expression was influenced by tumor stage and gender of participants.

Objective: To investigate the degree of cystocele and rectocele with a maximum of levator hiatal area (AHL) during Valsava. Methods: Secondary data analysis of 90 patients with uterine prolapse January 2012 to November 2013 in the clinic Uroginekologi RSCM, Jakarta. 3D/4D ultrasound measurement and pelvic organ prolapse system Quantification (POP-Q) stage I-IV cystocele and rectocelestage I-IV. All statistical analyses were analyzed using Stata 20 for Windows. Results: Significant difference cystocele stage I-II (n = 25) with stage III-IV (n = 65), the maximum AHL with a difference of 4.33 cm2 (p = 0.040). In rectocele stage I-II (n = 64) and stage III-IV (n = 26) of 3.85 cm2 (p = 0.130). AUC values for stage I-II and III-IV cystocele was 0.607 (IK95% from 0.467 to 0.738), and the ROC for rectocele was 0.603 (IK95% from 0.472 to 0.734). The ROC optimal cut point for cystocele stage I-II with III-IV with the highestsensitivity and specificity is 29 cm2 (0.523 sensitivity, specificity 0.520), the rectocele is 30 cm2 (0.538 sensitivity, specificity 0.584). Conclusion: There is a significant relationship between the degree of cystocele and area of the levator ani muscles when Valsava, but there is no relationship at rectocele. The value of maximum area under the curve (AUC) hiatal area of the levatorani muscle in distinguishing stage I-II and III-IV cystocele are relatively similar to rectocele stage I-II and III-IV. Optimal cut point hiatal area of the levatorani muscle in distinguishing stage I-II and III-IV cystoceleis 29 cm2, while for rectocele is 30 cm2 with sensitivity and specificity values were quite good. What was the question? The purpose of this study was to evaluate the prevalence of OCD-like lesions around the knee in children with Blount disease. Additionally, we planned to describe the morphologic features of these OCD-like lesions based on plain radiographs and MRI and evaluate any clinical factors that may be associated with such radiologic findings How did you answer the question? After institutional review board approval, the medical records of all patients with a diagnosis of Blount disease (ICD-9 732.4) treated between January 2005 and March 2016 at a single institution were reviewed. All patients included in this study had an initial standing full-length anteroposterior mechanical axis radiograph and anteroposterior and lateral knee radiographs. MRI information was included when available. All patients noted to have an OCD-like lesion on an imaging study (x-ray and/or MRI) were identified and each such MRI was reviewed by three independent examiners, a musculoskeletal radiologist and two pediatric orthopedic surgeons. Each patient’s OCD-like lesion was graded according to two validated staging systems, as described by DiPaola and Hefti. Student t test for comparison of continuous variables and chi -square for categorical variables. Differences were considered statistically significant at p<0.05. What are the results? A total of 68 patients with Blount disease were identified. Five patients were excluded: two due to inadequate imaging, and three patients were adults at initial presentation. Of the 63 remaining patients (87 affected limbs) all had plain radiographs and 37 of these patients (53 limbs) also had an MRI. A total of 9 OCD-like lesions in 6 patients were identified on plain radiographs, with an overall prevalence of 10% (6/63) of patients and 10% (9/87) limbs. From the 37 patients (53 limbs) who had an MRI, 7/37 (19%) patients 10/53 (19% limbs)had the OCD-like lesion present on their MRI. All lesions were found in the posterior one third of the medial femoral condyle. The mean area of the lesion on plain imaging was 197.2 mm 2 (95%CI = 133.9 mm 2, 260.5 mm 2) and 163.0 mm2 (95%CI = 107.6,218.5) on MRI (p=0.36). Based on the Hefti classification there were 3 stage I, 2 stage II and 5 stage III lesions. Using the Dipaola system there were 4 stage I, 4 stage II and 2 stage III lesions. Comparing patients with an OCD-like lesion versus those without, there was no statistically significant difference between the groups in terms of early-onset versus late-onset disease (p=0.21), gender (p=0.23), mean age at imaging (p=.0.06) and laterality (p=0.07). Additionally, there was also no significant difference between the two groups in terms of mean MAD (63.3 mm vs 71.9 mm, p=0.39), mean mLDFA (91.3 degrees vs 89.7 degrees, p=0.43) and mean MPTA (71.7 degrees vs 71.8 degrees, p=0.95). What is your conclusion? OCD-like lesions in the medial femoral condyle can be seen in children with Blount disease. The overall prevalence of these lesions is around 10% based on plain radiographs and 19% based on MRI scans. Based on the numbers available, we were unable to demonstrate any associations between the presence of such OCD-like lesions and the patient’s age, gender or magnitude of varus deformity.
