A system of reservoirs is usually defined as a system of water management elements, that are mutually linked by inner and outer connections in a purpose-built complex. Combined elements consist of reservoirs, river sections, dams, weirs, hydropower plants, water treatment plants and other hydraulic structures. These elements also include the rainfall system, the run-off system, the ground water system, etc. A system of reservoirs serves many purposes, which result from the basic functions of water reservoirs: storage, flood control and environmental functions. Most reservoirs serve several purposes at the same time. They are so called multi-purposes reservoirs. Optimum design and control of a system of reservoirs depends strongly on identifying the particular purposes. In order to assess these purposes and to evaluate the appropriate set of criteria, risk analysis can be used. Design and control of water reservoir functions is consequently solved with the use of multi-objective optimisation. This paper deals with the use of the risk analysis to determine criteria for controlling the system. This approach is tested on a case study of the Pastviny dam in the Czech Republic.

The article analyzes the complex state of the modern legislative regulation of quality and product safety issues in the context of ensuring consumers’ rights to the proper quality of goods (works, services). It is stated that in view of the variety of different properties that make up the notion of quality, the most important are the defects, which are capable of damaging the life, health, or property of the consumer, that is, the defects, which indicate that the goods are dangerous. The safety of goods works, and services as a legal category are of particular importance and is one of the functions of the state to ensure public safety. State measures of influence on manufacturers and sellers of goods, persons who perform work and provide services should be aimed at ensuring the protection of fundamental civil rights. In most cases, these are imperative requirements for safety, which are approved by special legal acts, as well as measures of state supervision and control to ensure the safety of manufactured goods, works, and services. The legislator, when defining security, uses the term “safety of goods (works, services)”, but it would be advisable to carry out graduation of these concepts since the safety of goods is a state of goods that allows it to be sold, used, stored, transported, disposed of without harm for life, health, the property of the consumer and the environment in normal conditions, and the safety of works and services is the quality of protection of the legal rights of the consumer in carrying out the activities of persons who perform work and provide services, danger to life, health, the property should not manifest itself either in their implementation and providing or later. It is noted that quality requirements should be made mandatory when designing production specifications. It is stated that in order to ensure the effectiveness of legal regulation, the safety of a product, work, or service must be considered as a full-fledged property within the legal notion of quality. It is concluded that product safety is an integral feature of any product, work, and service, acting as an integral element of the quality category. Lack of safety features indicates that the product is of poor quality. Keywords: quality, safety, proper quality, improper quality, specifications, consumers.

HACCP procedures focus on chemical, physical and microbiological hazards, Yellow Fin Tuna is the one of the most superior export fishery product of Moluccas, based on paper review and field observation in Molucass, this paper is a preliminary study to development HACCP framework of frozen Yellow Fin Tuna in Moluccas.

This chapter reviews planning methods and practices. Significant work has been published and used for long periods on planning methods. Preplanning is essential due to the life safety factors that a crowd can develop in situ. Planning can be considered in two phases. Information and background planning essential to communicate facts and identify risk areas in crowd management and operational planning. This then provides resourcing and contingency planning once the operation is in place. Like military operations both phases are important, however in many crowd situations operational and contingency planning is given less scrutiny. This is because the plans are normally scrutinised by authorities, councils, government, venue or land owners and they are more comfortable with pre-information type plans that inform them of the context background and communication flows. How the crowds are managed by security contractors is not usually an area they are experienced in, hence less attention is paid to these areas. The aim of this chapter is to provide enough knowledge for all event stakeholders to review and discuss practical implementation issues in security deployment and control. Planning and preparation requires an increased focus for crowd management because the emerging behaviour from the collective requires more options to be considered and prepared for. As crowds can cause life safety issues and because agents and systems can interact to exaggerate interactions and responses quickly, preparation and contingency planning is vital. Crowd risk assessments have to be conducted to understand and communicate the magnitude of the problems that can occur. If the consequences of the crowd activity are significant to the risk appetite of the organiser then response methods and measures should be developed and implemented. An example of this would be preparing additional signage, barriers and guards to divert pedestrians away or around potential bottlenecks when the flow becomes too congested.
