The focus of the research is the formulation of a business strategy for the art merchandise brand and the data collection was conducted by using interviews, observation, competitor analysis, and literature research. Gutsy prune needs to have a business strategy to tackle the sales stagnation that is caused by the low rate of inventory turnover. Before formulating a business strategy to boost sales stagnation, a series of analysis that includes environmental scanning and customer analysis is performed. The result from the aforementioned analysis is further examined by using SWOT Analysis to discover the root causes of the sales stagnation. It has been concluded that Gutsy Prune possesses some weaknesses in its segmentation, targeting, positioning, value proposition, marketing mix, and organizational structure. To resolve the root causes, Gutsy Prune develops a business strategy that contains STP Strategy, Value Proposition Canvas, Marketing Mix Strategy, organizational structure design, and a generic competitive strategy to sums up the business strategy's direction. From the research, Gutsy Prune can establish a one-year implementation plan to execute the business strategy.

The chapter is an overview on organizational models for project management, identifying the characteristics of a possible reference model that joins to the necessity of portfolio management. The approach to portfolio management requires attention to the integrated management of projects; this is why the organizational structure matrix “differentiated” could be a useful reference point. This chapter proposes, therefore, a reworking of the organizational structure design criteria considering both the Value Chain of Porter is the matrix structure “differentiated”. Ultimately, the contribution configures the characteristics of the organizational model for portfolio in relation to the type of project - internal/process, external/product mix - in order to improve the performance of internal projects whose objectives are not always explicit. The basic idea of this work is to apply the concept of Porter's value chain not only functions but also the portfolio of projects that the company has.

The literature of organizational structure design is relatively rich along with conceptual and complex patterns. This complexity arising from the number of elements and numerous relations in addition to the nature of variables. Thereby, the lack of operational decision-making models is felt to propose adequate structural designs in practice. In this article, the researchers employ a fuzzy multi attribute decision making model (FMADM) to select the most suitable organizational structure based on expert’s judgments and by deploying contextual dimensions of the organization. Since the organizational changes especially in the structural levels are along with resistances among involved staffs, the implementation of this model is a supportive tool in addition to help the managers to make a qualified decision and change.

Diversification is a strategy adopted by many enterprises in the process of expansion. The success of the diversification of an enterprise mainly depends on the choice and implement of strategy; choosing an organizational structure that fits the type of diversification strategy used is fundamental to improving financial performance. Based on the empirical research method, this study establishes a symmetric model of diversification strategy and organizational structure on financial performance and selects data from 613 A-share-listed companies in China, from 2012 to 2016, to test the impacts of unrelated and related diversification strategies on financial performance, as well as the moderating effects of united company, holding company, and multidivisional structures on such relationships. The results show that there is asymmetry between the diversification strategy adopted and financial performance, and a related diversification strategy should be adopted as a priority; the symmetry of an unrelated diversification strategy and holding company structure on financial performance is partially confirmed, and other elements should be adopted, simultaneously, to improve this symmetry; a related diversification strategy and multidivisional structure on financial performance is symmetric. The above findings will provide references for the diversification strategy choice and the organizational structure design of enterprises.
