The purpose of this study is to provide a factual and comprehensive the behavior patterns of young adults who tend addicted with social networking sites. The pattern of addictive behavior by six dimensions: salience, tolerance, mood modification, relapse, withdrawal, and conflict proposed by Griffiths in Andreassen (2012). The study was conducted on the social networking users, aged 18-25 years old, and live in Jakarta. The sampling technique used purposive sampling method. This study used a qualitative research with mixed method approach which quantitative research is used to support the qualitative data. The results of quantitative research shows that there are 7 people (18%) were in the category of addictive tendencies high and as many as 32 people (82%) who are in the category of being addictive tendencies. Tolerance behavior patterns that have increased the need for individuals to access social networking as behavior experienced by almost all participants (97%). While behavioral conflicts (problems that arise from the behavior of addiction) experienced by participants quantitative which has the lowest percentage at 64%. Qualitative research results show participants have a positive third interpret social networks and all three have 6 components addictive behavior. The positive impact is felt all three participants is increasing social capital and social and emotional sensitivity. Perceived negative impacts are significant issues arose with the person, procrastination, poor time management, and less able to control themselves against the use of social networking.

The increasing use of Facebook social networking sites, most of which are teenagers, is a growing phenomenon at this time. As a result the positive and negative impacts that social media poses have an impact on their use. Facebook's social networking site influences the development of adolescent psychology, both physically (brain / amygdala), cognitive, social, personality, moral and religious. The purpose of this paper is to look at the impact of Facebook social networking sites on the development of adolescent psychology. Based on the results of the discussion that the impact of Facebook's social networking site on the development of adolescent psychology, among others: 1) Facebook as a medium for expressing feelings and channeling emotions, 2) Conflict of teenagers in using Facebook, 3) Facebook media for searching for identity and means of socialization, 4) Influencing time management of adolescents.
