odities in Indonesia is soybeans. Domestic soybean production is still low so that it can fill the gap in the domestic fever that is possible through imports. Farmers are less interested in planting soybeans because it is less profitable. Technological innovation and increasing farmer motivation to plant soybeans need to be done, one of which is through demonstration plots and farmer training. The research was carried out in Mekar Sari Village, Panimbang District, Pandeglang Regency, Banten. The study was conducted in the demonstration plot including the introduction of new high yielding varieties. Farmer responses were explored through farmer field day using a questionnaire. The aims of a research is to introduce the technology of dryland soybean cultivation and explore the interest of farmers in developing this technology. the majority of farmers were males with there were 65% of farmers had narrow land area that is ≤ 0,4 ha. Dena 1 variety produced the highest productivity of 1,820.1 kg/h compared to other varieties. The motivation to develop dryland soybean technology is based on the desire to develop more advanced and modern (72.5%), gain insight and knowledge (67.5%) and to develop the regional economy (66.25%).

Innovation is no longer an option but a necessity for an organization to survive during a crisis. Innovations in terms of products, process, technologies, and services, can effectively be used to resolve the crisis of the current educational system to survive and thrive in the 21st century. Academic libraries should re-think and re-invent the existing technologies, services, and facilities to fulfill the demands of users. Management, organization, and dissemination of information can be done quickly and effectively with the application of information and communication technology (ICT) in an innovative way. Technological innovation (TI) can be considered as an innovative solution for the sustenance of libraries during a crisis. This chapter attempts to describe the essence of TI in academic libraries and highlights the perceptions of librarians on TI in the university libraries system in India. Therefore, this chapter will explore individual innovative behavior and its influencing factors on technological innovation in academic libraries in Indian universities.

In recent years, the technological innovation network of major engineering projects has developed rapidly in China. However, there are still some problems in the technological innovation network of major engineering projects, such as unclear responsibilities and rights among innovation subjects, and poor information communication, which make the technological innovation network of major engineering projects present low safety. The technological innovation network of major engineering projects is an alliance, and the dual governance consisting of formal contract governance and relational contract governance is an effective way to solve the alliance problem. Due to the transaction cost theory and relationship contract theory, identify the influencing factors of dual governance on the vulnerability of technological innovation network of major engineering projects through literature analysis. Therefore, it is necessary to discuss the fragility of dual governance to the technological innovation network of major engineering projects. First, according to the transaction cost theory and relationship contract theory, the paper identifies the influencing factors of dual governance on the vulnerability of technological innovation network of major engineering projects. Then, using the complex network theory, a network model of influencing factors of technological innovation network vulnerability for major engineering projects is constructed, and MATLAB is used to simulate and analyze its vulnerability. The results are compared with the relevant network topology parameters, and finally the recommendations for reducing vulnerability are proposed. The findings provide a certain reference value for management and decision-making in the process of technological innovation of major engineering projects.

Accurate analysis of technological innovation mechanism in different regions is the key to promoting China’s technological innovation, economic transformation and upgrading. This paper collected statistical data of high-tech enterprises in 27 provinces in China from 2009 to 2016, established a novel PSO-GRNN model, and applied sensitivity analysis to explore the influencing factors and regional differences of enterprise technological innovation in Eastern, Central and Western China. The empirical results showed that the influencing factors were innovation investment, market environment, government support and foreign technology spillover sorting by impact size. Innovation investment was the decisive factor of technological innovation, but innovation resources mainly concentrated on Eastern China, severely insufficient in Central and Western China. Market environment was favorable to Eastern and Central China, but unfavorable to Western China, which restricted greatly the development of Western China. The principalagent problem of state-owned enterprise and the crowding out effect of government research and development funds jointly led to the negative influence of government support on technological innovation. Foreign technology spillover had significant positive effects on technological innovation in Western China. This paper clarifies some disputes about influencing factors of technological innovation and provides a new research perspective for related issues.
