This study aimed to examine the effect of capital structure, institutional ownership, managerial ownership, and profitability on company value. It used independent variables such as capital structure with a proxy of Debt to Equity Ratio (DER), institutional ownership, managerial ownership, and profitability with a proxy of Return on Equity (ROE), and the dependent variable such as company value. This study uses secondary data obtained from the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) for the period 2014-2017, with the population of all manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) with the sample of manufacturing companies in the sector of various industries in the period 2014-2017. It was taken by using purposive sampling method, where they were selected based on the criteria. The data were analyzed using a multiple linear regression analysis with SPSS 23. The results indicated that the Debt to Equity Ratio (DER), institutional ownership, and managerial ownership have no significant effect on company value, while Return on Equity (ROE) has a significant effect on company value. The company's goal can be achieved if the company's performance is able to optimize the value of the company.

The important decision faced by financial management which relates to the continuity of company operations is funding decision which is capital structure. Capital structure achieves optimal value if the composition of debt and capital are able to increase company value. The purpose of this research is to examine the effect of ownership structure, profitability, firm size, and tangibility against capital structure (research on manufacturing companies listed on Indonesia Stock Exchange period 2012-2016). The population in this research were all manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange 2012-2016. This research used purposive sampling method with certain criteria to determine the sample. The sample used was 38 companies with the research period 2012-2016 at manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. Multiple regression analysis using Eviews 8 was used to analyze the data. The result of multiple linear regression test showed that there were three independent variables that affect capital structure they were managerial ownership, firm size and tangibility. Whereas institutional ownership and profitability did not affect the capital structure of manufacturing companies in 2012-2016. The conclusion of this research is managerial ownership, firm size and tangibility have positive and significant effect on capital structure, while institutional ownership and profitability have negative and insignificant effect on capital structure.

Capital structure is one of the issue that attract many researchers in the field of finance and an important issue for any company because of its capability to directly effect on companies’ financial position. This study aims to determine the effect of debt to equity ratio (DER) and debt to assets ratio (DAR) as the dimension of capital structure to return on equity (ROE) and return on assets (ROA) as dimensions of company profitability ratios, either simultaneously or partially on mining companies listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange period 2011-2015. This research was conducted by using multiple linear regression analysis and yielded two equations of regression model. The data obtained are secondary data using documentation method. The result of regression analysis shows that the two dimensions of capital structure have significant effect to both dimensions of profitability simultaneously. While partially, only DAR which have a significant effect on the ROE and ROA.

This study aims to examine the effect of corporate governance on the capital structure of manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. Companies need an optimal capital structure so that there are no problems that will later impact the risk of high corporate bankruptcy. Capital structure will be optimal if there is no agency problem. Agency problems occur because of differences in interests between managers, investors, and creditors. To reduce agency conflict, corporate governance is needed. Institutional ownership and the size of the audit committee are used in this study as part of corporate governance. Debt to equity ratio was used to measure capital structure in this study. The sample used in this study amounted to 76 manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The sample selection in this study used a purposive sampling method. The type of data used is secondary data obtained from www.idx.co.id. The analytical method used is multiple regression analysis. The results of the study show that institutional ownership has a significant effect on capital structure, while the audit committee has no significant effect on capital structure. Keywords: capital structure, corporate governance, institusional ownership, audit committee

ABSTRACT The purpose of this study is to examine whether working capital variables, size, and capital structure affect the return on assets. The population in this study are manufacturing companies in various sub-sectors proposed in the Indonesia stock exchange in 2016-2018. The type of data used in this study is secondary data from the company's annual financial statements as a sample that is used and processed using SPSS 16.00. This research uses the classic assumption test and the data analysis method used is multiple linear regression analysis. The results of the study show how working capital (ratio using current ratio, accounts receivable turnover, and net working capital), size, and capital structure (tested using a debt to equity ratio) are considered to compare asset returns.Keywords: working capital, size, capital structure, return on assets ABSTRAK Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menguji apakah variabel modal kerja, ukuran, dan struktur modal berpengaruh terhadap return on assets. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah perusahaan manufaktur di berbagai sub sektor yang diusulkan di Bursa Efek Indonesia tahun 2016-2018. Jenis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah data sekunder berupa laporan keuangan tahunan perusahaan sebagai sampel yang digunakan dan diolah menggunakan SPSS 16.00. Penelitian ini menggunakan uji asumsi klasik dan metode analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis regresi linier berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bagaimana modal kerja (rasio menggunakan rasio lancar, perputaran piutang, dan modal kerja bersih), ukuran, dan struktur modal (diuji menggunakan rasio utang terhadap ekuitas) dipertimbangkan untuk membandingkan pengembalian aset.Kata kunci: modal kerja, ukuran, struktur modal, return on assets

The purpose of this research is to examine the influence of capital structure with the calculation of Debt Equity Ratio (DER), Profitability with the proxy of Return On Equity (ROE) and Company Size with the proxy of Size calculations on the company's value with the calculation of Price Book Value (PBV) of the company's food and beverage subsectors listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The data used is secondary data with a sample collection method using purposive sampling. Where the population of this study used is the food and beverage subsectors company listed on the Indonesia Stock exchange with a period of observation 2016 – 2018, with the final samples of research 12 companies selected. Data analysis techniques are conducted using descriptive statistics and data regression analysis panels with the help of E-Views version 10 and Microsoft Excel applications 2013. The results of the research are partially known that the company structure (DER) affects on the company's value (PBV), profitability (ROE) affects the company’s value and the Company Size has no effects to the company's value. Profitability is the end result of a number of company management policies and decisions (Brigham et al., 2001). This study aims to examine the effect of capital structure, institutional ownership, and managerial ownership on company profitability. Capital structure proxied by Debt to Equity Ratio (DER). The company's profitability is proxied by Return on Equity (ROE). The data used are the financial statements of manufacturing companies on the IDX from 2014 – 2018, the results of this study found that capital structure, institutional ownership, and managerial ownership have a positive effect on profitability.

This research aims to examine the influence of corporate governance on financing decisions or capital structures on manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the period 2008-2010. In this study, corporate governance was projected with board size, independent commissioner, managerial ownership, and institutional ownership, while funding decisions were projected with debt ratio. The technique used to test the influence of corporate governance on capital structures is using multiple linear regression analysis. The results found that board size and board composition have a significant negative effect on the capital structure, while managerial ownership, and institutional ownership do not have a significant influence on the capital structure.

While partially, only DAR which have a significant effect on the ROE and ROA. Struktur modal merupakan salah satu isu yang menarik banyak peneliti di bidang keuangan dan isu penting bagi perusahaan karena kemampuan struktur permodalan untuk mempengaruhi secara langsung posisi finansial perusahaan tersebut. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh rasio hutang terhadap ekuitas (DER) dan rasio hutang terhadap asset (DAR) sebagai dimensi struktur modal terhadap return on equity (ROE) dan return on assets (ROA) sebagai dimensi rasio profitabilitas perusahaan, baik secara simultan maupun parsial pada perusahaan pertambangan yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia periode 20112015. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan analisis regresi linier berganda dan menghasilkan dua persamaan model regresi. Data yang diperoleh adalah data sekunder dengan menggunakan metode dokumentasi. Hasil analisis regresi menunjukkan bahwa kedua dimensi struktur modal berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kedua dimensi profitabilitas secara simultan. Sementara sebagiannya, hanya dimensi DAR yang menunjukkan pengaruh signifikan terhadap dimensi ROE dan ROA.

This study aims to determine managerial ownership, institutional ownership, liquidity, leverage, and profitability on firm value with dividend policy as a moderating variable. This type of research is explanatory research with a quantitative approach. The population used in this study are property and real estate companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange from 2010 to 2018. The sampling technique uses purposive sampling so that the selected sample is 16 companies. This study uses descriptive statistical data analysis and multiple linear regression analysis. The results of this study indicate that 1). Managerial Ownership, Institutional Ownership, and Liquidity do no effect on Company Value. 2). Leverage has a negative and significant impact on Company Value. 3). Profitability has a positive and significant impact on Company Value. 4). Dividend Policy cannot moderate the effect of the Managerial Ownership relationship on Company Value. 5). Dividend policy can partially influence the relationship of Institutional Ownership, Liquidity, Leverage, and Profitability to Company Value.

When observing the major financial problems that were revealed, the public questioned the performance of the big companies involved in this scandal, which contradicts the principles of Good Corporate Governance regarding accountability, equity, integrity, transparency and responsibility. This study aims to determine, test and explain the effect of the audit committee, managerial ownership, institutional ownership, on Return On Assets both partially and jointly in the food and beverage sub-sector manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the period 2014 to 2019. The sample was determined by purposive sampling. Data collection techniques using literature study and observation. The method used is multiple linear regression analysis. Based on the results of multiple linear analysis, it is found that Managerial ownership has a partial effect on ROA then Audit Committee Size and Institutional ownership partially have no effect on ROA, and simultaneously Audit Committee Size, Managerial Ownership and Institutional Ownership together have an effect on Return On Assets ( ROA).
