Environmental issues and sustainability have attracted considerable attention. The public have been asked to change their conventional consumption patterns and purchase behaviours. This study expanded the theoretical base of green purchasing by extending the theory of planned behaviour (TPB) and essays a comprehensive research framework to identify the antecedents and mediators of green purchase intention (GPI). Smart PLS version 3.2.8 was employed to test the theoretical framework against 314 observations of customers who had bought green products in Phnom Penh, Cambodia. The current study extended the framework of the TPB model, in which perceived moral obligation (PMO) is introduced as an antecedent of attitudes towards green products, subjective norms (SN), and perceived behavioural control (PBC) vis-a-vis GPI. The findings reveal that environmental awareness and environmental concerns have a significant and positive influence on SN, PMO, and PBC. They also show that consumers’ PMO has a positive and significant impact on customers’ perceived value, including perceived environmental value and perceived environmental image. Furthermore, SN, PMO, PBC, and customers’ perceived value have a significant effect on attitudes towards green products. Both customer’s attitudes and perceived value have a positive effect on GPI. Theoretical and managerial implications are provided.

Many consumers are concerned about environmental issues and have expressed interest in purchasing green products. However, actual sales of green products are still not as high as expected. Therefore, marketers of green products may need to investigate the factors driving green purchase behaviors. In this study, we proposed an extended theory of planned behavior (TPB) model that links consumers’ environmental concerns, perceived image of the company, consumer innovativeness, and environmental knowledge with green product purchase behavior. We applied a quantitative approach to collect the data via online questionnaires through Amazon MTurk. With 974 useable samples, the data were analyzed with structural equation modeling (SEM) using Smart PLS. The results showed that green purchase intention positively and significantly affects green purchase behavior. Moreover, the multigroup analysis revealed that the direct influence of green purchase intention on green purchase behavior is higher in developing countries than in developed countries. Regarding the direct effect on green purchase intention, attitude toward green products, perceived consumer effectiveness (PCE), environmental concern, and company’s perceived green image are significant antecedents of the intention to purchase, with attitude toward green products being the most robust antecedent among the three. However, subjective norms do not act as a direct antecedent of purchase intention. For the indirect effect on green purchase intention, four main antecedents (attitude toward green products, subjective norms, PCE, and environmental concerns) indirectly impact purchase intention via the mediating role of the perceived green image of the company. This study contributes to existing literatures via extending the TPB model. Regarding attitude-intention-behavior model, we found that environmental concern complements the model as an antecedent of green purchase intention. Moreover, a company’s perceived green image mediates the relationship between four antecedents and green purchase intention. Therefore, marketers of green products may also enhance future purchases by promoting the green image of the company. Particularly, we found that environmental knowledge positively moderates the relationship between environmental concern and a company’s perceived green image. We added on the empirical evidence that PCE plays a crucial role in stimulating green purchases as its direct positive influence on green purchase behavior is larger than that of green purchase intention. Moreover, consumer innovativeness positively moderates the relationship between PCE and green purchase intention.

Increasing awareness on the various environmental problems has led a shift in the way consumers go about their life. There has been a change in consumer attitudes towards a green lifestyle and people are actively trying to reduce their impact on the environment. Massive industrialization has changed this world radically and leaving behind a curse to nature. Environmental reduction is a concern of people all around the globe. The purpose of this study is to identify the important factors that influence the green purchase intentions of the people. This study investigates the effects of different variables on green purchase intention of consumers. A sample of 150 respondents was taken from the students and professional in Bahawalpur City of Pakistan. The data was collected through a self-administered questionnaire, using the previous established scales. Regression results of the study validate all the hypotheses of the study confirming the significant impact of green perceived value, green trust, green environmental responsibility, green marketing tools and green purchase attitude on green purchase intention. The current study falsifies the assumption that the consumers in developing countries are less prone towards purchasing of green products. Managerial implications and limitations are discussed to make this study more fruitful.

Purpose Consumer-generated online product reviews (OPRs) have become a crucial source of information for consumers; however, OPRs are increasingly being incentivized. The purpose of this paper is to find a method of sponsorship and disclosure that could be considered ethically sound. Design/methodology/approach This study adopted a quasi-experimental approach to clarifying how the method of sponsorship impacts reader perceptions of OPRs in terms of helpfulness, credibility and purchase intention. Two experiments were performed on an online platform using data from 480 participants. Hypotheses were tested using analysis of covariance. Findings Meaning under the premise that sponsorship information is disclosed and not withheld from the readers, Study 1 revealed that experiential sponsorship is the best sponsorship. Study 2 revealed that featuring reviewers with greater influence in the online community increases the positive influence of disclosing experiential sponsorship on OPR persuasiveness. Originality/value The findings in this study provide rational incentives for firms to disclose sponsorship information, i.e. demonstrate high ethical standards in marketing. This was shown to create a win-win-win situation for consumers, firms and reviewers. Managerial implications for online marketing managers are also discussed.

This study aims to investigate and assess the perceived value, risk, level of trust and public purchase intention and then to be use to obtain a marketing strategy to increase public purchase intention towards green products.This study is a survey research using questionnaires as an instrument. Population and sample used in this study is the community of Banjarmasin and taken as many as 150 respondents using non-purposive sampling method. Analysis techniques were used : (1) qualitative descriptive analysis - quantitative and comparative analysis of the average with SPSS software, (2) the relationship modelling between variables and the effect test was analyzed with SEM using Software IBM AMOS version 22, and (3) analysis of the strategies using SWOT matrix . The study found that : (1) the perception of values, perceptions of risk, the level of Banjarmasin’s public trust and interest in purchasing green products is good enough category for the majority of respondents vote; (2) In determining the perceived value Banjarmasin’s public tends to be more considered its functional value indicators than other indicators such as social value, emotional value and economic value. (3) In determining the risk perception of green products, people tend to be more considered time risk indicators than other indicators such as the risk of physical and psychological risks. (4) In determining trust in green products, Banjarmasin’s public tends to be more considered its benefits indicators than other indicators such as trust towards the object, and trust in the attributes. (5) the perception of value and risk perceptions affect the level of public confidence, but does not affect the public purchase intention towards green products (6) The level of trust significantly influence the public purchase intention towards green products (7) The relationship between the public purchase intention towards green products with the value perceived and risk perceived tends to be indirect and moderated by variable levels of trust. (8) Strategies that can be considered by the producers and marketers of green products to increase the public purchase intention are (a) Focused on the segment of society that has been assessed in the medium category (b) Increase public knowledge of the benefits of the product (c) Maintain product quality (c) Enhance product functionality with innovation (e) Provide information on product benefits using information media (f) Pay attention to product distribution channels, (g) adjust production to market needs (h) Manufacturers must give quick respond to public complaints by providing customer service facilities.

The purpose of this study was to analyze the main green marketing approaches and their impact on consumer behavior towards the environment in the United Arab Emirates (UAE). We reviewed the current consumption patterns of green products using a questionnaire approach. For this study, 359 consumers that used any type of green product were selected in various shopping malls in the UAE. For the assessment of questionnaire responses, measurement models, such as confirmatory factor analysis (CFA), and structural equation modeling (SEM) approaches were applied. The findings of the study suggest interesting inferences regarding eco-labeling (EL), green packaging and branding (GPB), green products, premium, and pricing (GPPP), and the environmental concerns and beliefs (ECB) of consumers that affect their perceptions of the environment. Factor analysis provided a goodness of fit for the selected items. It was found that key factors of green marketing, such as EL and GPPP, have a significant positive influence on consumer beliefs towards the environment (CBTE). In addition, environmental concerns and beliefs (ECB) also have a significant and positive influence on CBTE in the UAE. The practical significance of this study is that it will help the progress of the integration of green marketing and consumer behavior theories about the environment. The managerial implications of this study include the provision of significant findings for both domestic and international firms for the promotion of green products through focusing on consumer behavior towards the environment. This study provides important guidelines to boost positive attitudes in society towards green marketing and helps companies develop effective strategies to promote their green products.

<p>With the development of Phablet, as well as the coming of new age of 4G network, people pay more attention to the network quality and the market demand for network increases day by day. Telecommunications network service offers diversified products and service to satisfy different consumers’ demands. Telecommunications service has gradually become the trend, but the issues about consumers’ degree of cognitive involvement in using Smartphone or Phablet are the problems concerned by operators. In addition, the items supplied by the operators of telecommunications service will directly influence consumers’ usage intention. Therefore, this study discussed whether the telecommunications mobile value added services will influence consumers’ usage intention through the perceived value of Smartphone or Phablet. The research subjects were the users of general Smartphone. In total, 300 questionnaires were distributed, 240 questionnaires were retrieved and 224 questionnaires were valid. The research results show that (1) 4G mobile value added services have the significant positive influence on the perceived value of Smartphone; (2) 4G mobile value added services have the significant positive influence on usage intention; (3) Smartphone and Phablet have the mediating effect on 4G mobile value added services and usage intention. All the functions and value added services provided by Smartphone or Phablet play the key mediating effect. Thus, users will generate the sense of worth where acquisition utility is greater than expenditure cost, and they will generate the purchase intention and behavior towards this mobile phone products.</p><p><strong style="font-size: 10px;">Keywords:</strong><span style="font-size: 10px;">4G mobile value added services,perceived value of smartphone,perceived value of phablet,usage intention</span></p>

This paper studies customer care as an important factor that affects the performance of B2C e-commerce websites. A survey was conducted to 464 Turkish B2C website customers. Analysis method of this study is partial least square structural equation modeling (PLS-SEM). Specifically, customer care in B2C e-commerce web sites is found to have direct effect on perceived value and indirect effect on purchase intention via perceived value and brand loyalty. Besides relationship between customer care and purchase intention was found as insignificant. The most important contribution of this research is the unveiling of the indirect relationship between customer care and purchase intention. This study also offers some important manageral suggestions for B2C web sites.

The emerging online economy provides consumers with easy access to numerous choices. This article investigates the effects of price promotion framing messages on perceived value and online consumer purchase intention. A 3 (price promotion framing: single discount/multiple discounts- large discount first and small discount last/multiple discounts- small discount first and large discount last) × 2 (price level of product: low/high) experimental design is conducted. The experiment results demonstrated that price framing of single discount has a greater influence on perceived value than multiple discounts. Perceived value has a positive influence on purchase intention. Additionally, price moderates the effects of price promotion framing on consumer purchase intention. This finding offers potential for finding better ways for sellers or managers to present discounts in online shopping. Finally, the conclusion presents implications, limitations, and directions for future research.

Purpose The purpose of this study is to focus on what factors and variables affect the consumers’ intention to purchase green products and lead them to prefer green ecologic products to other products and choose to buy them. Design/methodology/approach For this purpose, a total of 450 students from the Islamic Azad University of Yazd took part in this survey. The research method was applied in terms of purpose and in terms of analysis, it was of the scaling type. The data collection tool and sampling for the questionnaire were done randomly and to determine the sample, the Cochran formula was used. This study used the SPSS software to analyze the descriptive statistics (demographical factors) and through the software LISREL, the connection between the variables was investigated by structural equation modeling. Findings The results indicated that environmental beliefs affect environmental concern and there must be a meaningful relationship between them. Also, the increase in environmental concern leads to an increase in the attitude to consuming green products, and finally, an increase in the consumers’ demand for purchasing green products. Furthermore, an increase in environmental concerns also increases positive emotions, which, in turn, increases the consumers’ will to purchase green products. Finally, there is a meaningful relationship between environmental concerns and negative emotion while there is no significant relation between was reported between negative emotions and the will to purchase. Research limitations/implications The tested model now uses purchase intention as a result variable instead of real purchase, and in practice, it will be difficult to develop a research framework in controlled real behavior. Originality/value Investigating the role of positive and negative emotions on the intention of purchasing green products helps marketing managers up to by correct identifying consumers’ emotions can designing appropriate strategies for encouraging them to use green products.
