College Management system is Salesforce CRM based application which is the new technical way to manage all department related jobs. Collage management system is helpful for students as well as the colleges. In the existing system all the activities are done manually. It is very costly and time consuming. In our proposed system, students can view results using phones. The data will be stored in the Salesforce. The Admin, Faculty or the student should be a register user. The faculty can login into their college account through the application itself and update the academic result like internal exam marks obtained by the students. In this system students have easy access for viewing the marks; the application will check user authentications. Students are not permitted to manipulate any data. The proposed work has two modules: A. Student B. Teacher C. Admin. In the student’s module, students need to register their university registration number, college registration number, student name. Admin module maintains the student’s marks of internal college exams. Other than this the advanced features are: In case of natural calamities such as floods, etc. notification to students will be sent from admin office through application directly. Any new notice for a particular semester will be uploaded by professor through application notifying to respective semester students. The students can download different subject notes according to their departments. The faculty of particular department is responsible for updating the assignments, updating the attendance of every student, updating the notification related to department.

Coronavirus has disrupted aquaculture activities at all levels. The pandemic has had effect on farmer’s input, output, market, revenue, and contact with Extension officers. To reduce the growing effect of the pandemic, the use of Information Communication Technologies has become necessary as farmers can get easy access to extension agents and monitor farm activities while reducing exposure to the virus. Hence, this research was conducted to determine fish farmer’s willingness to pay for improved Information Communication Technologies in bridging the gap caused by the Coronavirus outbreak. The study used cross-sectional survey with data collected from Ibadan, Nigeria. Simple random sampling technique was used to select a sample size of 40 farmers. Primary data was analysed using StataSE13.0 and the results revealed that; 80% of farmers were affected by Coronavirus and acknowledged that Information Communication Technologies play a role in their activities (55%). The probit regression revealed that the scale of operation, age of farmer, household size, status in the household, and usage of Information Communication Technologiess were found to be statistically significant determinants of farmer’s willingness to pay. These points to the fact that improved Information Communication Technologies are relevant to sustain aquaculture output in the face of Coronavirus. The study recommends that the government, the ministry for aquaculture, and stakeholders in aquaculture should support small-scale in the form of training, credit and provision of support systems to help them acquire and use improved ICTs.

Abstract This paper presents a design of a low-cost integrated system for the preventive detection of unbalance faults in an induction motor. In this regard, two non-invasive measurements have been collected then monitored in real time and transmitted via an ESP32 board. A new bio-flexible piezoelectric sensor developed previously in our laboratory, was used for vibration analysis. Moreover an infrared thermopile was used for non-contact temperature measurement. The data is transmitted via Wi-Fi to a monitoring station that intervenes to detect an anomaly. The diagnosis of the motor condition is realized using an artificial neural network algorithm implemented on the microcontroller. Besides, a Kalman filter is employed to predict the vibrations while eliminating the noise. The combination of vibration analysis, thermal signature analysis and artificial neural network provides a better diagnosis. It ensures efficiency, accuracy, easy access to data and remote control, which significantly reduces human intervention.

Abstract Self-supported electrocatalytic thin films consist 3D conducting network and well-embedded electrocatalysts, which endows the advantage in mass flow kinetics and durability for large-scale water splitting. Synthesis of such self-supported electrode still remains a big challenge due to the difficulty in the control over the 3D conducting network and the simultaneous growth of catalyst with well attachment on the conducting fibers. Herein, a self-supported Mo2C@carbon nanofibers (Mo2C@C NF) film has been successfully fabricated with outstanding electrocatalytic performance under optimized pyrolysis temperature and precursors mass ratio conditions. During the carbonation process, the Mo2C nanoparticles (~16 nm) are simultaneously grown and well dispersed on the inter-connected carbon nanofibers, which form 3D conducting network. The as-formed 3D carbon network is strong enough to support direct electrocatalytic application without additional ink or supporting substrates. This particular electrode structure facilitates easy access to the active catalytic sites, electron transfer, and hydrogen diffusion, resulting in the high hydrogen evolution reaction (HER) activity. A low overpotential of 86 mV is needed to achieve 10 mA cm-2 current density with outstanding kinetics metric (Tafel 43 mV dec-1) in 1M KOH. Additionally, the self-supported Mo2C@C NF film, a binder-free electrode, exhibits extraordinary stability of more than 340 h.

Abstract Carbon sequestration in forests has increasingly captured the attention of scientists as a strategy for climate change mitigation and environmental sustainability. In this era of huge carbon emission, being a low-carbon and cost-effective technology, the economic analysis of forest carbon sequestration holds higher importance for the successful implementation and intended outcomes. This study elucidates a scientometric view of the research structure and thematic evolution of economic studies on forest carbon sequestration based on 1,439 articles over the time slice 2001-2021. The bibliographic data has been retrieved from the Dimensions database which accommodates a large coverage of research publications and also provides easy access to essential scholarly data and information. Vosviewer and Biblioshiny software tools have opted for visualization and evaluation purposes of bibliometric data. This study employs various measures of bibliometric analysis like co-authorship, bibliographic coupling, citation and keyword analysis to find out the principal articles, authors, journals, most frequent keywords and highest publishing countries and institutions in this field and the results show that the number of publications has escalated substantially in the last five years, Popp A, 2017 (305 citations) and André P C Faaij (11 documents) are the most cited article and the most productive author, respectively, Bradford’s law calculates 21 core journals out of total 503 journals among which Forest Policy and Economics is on the top, and the most productive country and institution are the USA and University of Florida, respectively. The study also investigates key publishing subject categories and the number of publications covered under each Sustainable Development Goals. The overall outcome of this bibliometric study confers an in-depth understanding of the various dimensions of economic analysis on forest carbon sequestration, its development pattern in the last 20 years and also provides emerging themes for future references.

Abstract The Asiatic black bear is considered an indicator species of the environment, hence, any change in the environment may alter its activity pattern. We monitored the monthly activity pattern of black bears in the moist temperate forests of Machiara National Park, AJ&K, Pakistan. We used infrared camera traps and indigenous knowledge for data collection from April 2019 to April 2021. Camera traps recorded 109 (inside the forest = 107, outside the forest = 2) independent registrations (IR) within 5541 (692.63 ± 36.72, mean ± SD) camera days. We found that (i) spring and autumn were the lowest activity seasons of black bears inside the forest. (ii) Whereas, the highest activities were recorded in summer with peak activities in August followed by July (χ2 = 203.5, df= 7, P< 0.05). (iii) The activity level sharply declined after August and halted from late November to late April which was clear indication of bears’ hibernation period. We collected indigenous knowledge from 70 selected persons, including hunters, herders, temporary residents and crop raiding victims. We used the data of human observation of latest three years and found that (i) bears remained active from May to November and hibernated rest of the period. (ii) The activities were at their peak inside the forest in summer (May – August) and out of the forest in autumn (September – November) when it preferred to raid the widely cultivated maize crop (Zea mays) in the area. The capturing of black bears by camera traps outside the forest further supported the data provided by local people. Such switching over might have occurred due to the food preferences for Zea mays or easy access to abundant food availability out of the forest area. The current data can help mitigate human black bears conflict and consequently future conservation of black bears in the area.

While the majority of social scientists still rely on traditional research instruments (e.g., surveys, self-reports, qualitative observations), multimodal sensing is becoming an emerging methodology for capturing human behaviors. Sensing technology has the potential to complement and enrich traditional measures by providing high frequency data on people’s behavior, cognition and affects. However, there is currently no easy-to-use toolkit for recording multimodal data streams. Existing methodologies rely on the use of physical sensors and custom-written code for accessing sensor data. In this paper, we present the EZ-MMLA toolkit. This toolkit was implemented as a website and provides easy access to multimodal data collection algorithms. One can collect a variety of data modalities: data on users’ attention (eye-tracking), physiological states (heart rate), body posture (skeletal data), gestures (from hand motion), emotions (from facial expressions and speech) and lower-level computer vision algorithms (e.g., fiducial/color tracking). This toolkit can run from any browser and does not require dedicated hardware or programming experience. We compare this toolkit with traditional methods and describe a case study where the EZ-MMLA toolkit was used by aspiring educational researchers in a classroom context. We conclude by discussing future work and other applications of this toolkit, potential limitations and implications.

Abstrak Kopi menjadi salah satu komoditas yang pada masa pandemi ini justru mengalami peningkatan pesat, baik dari sisi bisnis usaha, maupun dari sisi jumlah kedai kopi yang bertema kekinian dibanding komoditas usaha lainnya. Salah satu kota di Indonesia yang mengalami perkembangan yang sangat pesat berkaitan dengan bisnis kedai kopi adalah Kota Tarakan, Kalimantan Utara. Meskipun dibanding kota lain di Kalimantan, barangkali perkembangan kedai kopi di kota Tarakan sedikit tertinggal 3-4 tahun misalnya dari kota Balikpapan dan Banjarmasin. Jumlah kedai kopi di Kota Tarakan mengalami peningkatan cukup pesat dalam kurun waktu dari tahun 2019 hingga 2021 ini. Lokasi kedai kopi di Kota Tarakan tersebar di sekitar kawasan perdagangan, perkantoran dan permukiman penduduk. Kehadiran kedai kopi di beberapa kawasan disatu sisi berdampak positif, yaitu menghidupkan kawasan di sekitar kedai yang semula sepi dan rawan, menjadi ramai, namun disisi lain juga kadang kala berdampak negatif, seperti terjadi kemacetan lalulintas, kesulitan lahan parkir dan kebisingan suara dari aktivitas kedai kopi. Oleh karena itu pemilihan lokasi kedai kopi menjadi tantangan tersendiri. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menentukan pengaruh dari beberapa faktor utama yang mendasari pemilik kedai kopi memilih lokasi untuk pendirian kedai kopinya di Kota Tarakan. Menjamurnya kedai kopi kekinian dari sisi perkembangan perekonomian kota sangat baik, karena memicu denyut perekonomian kota, membantu mengakselerasi pemulihan ekonomi dimasa pandemi serta menjadi salah satu masukan menarik dalam pembangunan tata kota dan pengembangan pusat-pusat ekonomi baru di Kota Tarakan terutama yang berkaitan dengan aktivitas perdagangan dan jasa. Penelitian ini masih merupakan ide gagasan/pemikiran penulis yang melihat bahwa perkembangan kedai kopi dari hari ke hari sebagai suatu fenomena unik sebuah kota. Dan itu terjadi di hampir seluruh kota besar di Indonesia. Data yang digunakan merupakan informasi yang diperoleh dari komunitas kopi yang terdiri dari para pemilik kedai kopi dan barista di Kota Tarakan. Berdasarkan hasil pengamatan diperoleh empat kelompok faktor yang menggambarkan karakter pemilihan lokasi kedai kopi di Kota Tarakan. Kelompok faktor yang mempengaruhi pemilihan lokasi kedai kopi di Kota Tarakan yaitu fleksibilitas/aksesibilitas lokasi, kesesuaian/ketepatan lokasi, dukungan/support di sekitar lokasi, dan faktor-faktor tambahan lainnya. Fleksibilitas lokasi yaitu jangkauan kemudahan akses ke lokasi kedai dan bagaimana pelanggan/customer bisa dengan mudah mencapainya. Kesesuaian lokasi yaitu ketepatan pemilihan lokasi kedai dengan pertimbangan tertentu agar dapat mengakomodir kebutuhan dari kegiatan kedai kopi tersebut. Dukungan di sekitar lokasi yaitu adanya elemen-elemen pendukung yang ada di sekitar lokasi yang bisa menunjang dan mempermudah dalam kegiatan operasional kedai kopi. Faktor tambahan lainnya adalah faktor lain yang menjadi pertimbangan pemilihan lokasi namun relatif tidak memberikan pengaruh yang besar dalam penentuan pemilihan lokasi kedai kopi di Kota Tarakan, antara lain faktor efisiensi biaya kontrak. Abstract Coffee is one of the commodities that experienced a rapid increase during this pandemic, both in terms of the business and the number of coffee shops with contemporary themes compared to other business commodities. One of Indonesia's cities experiencing rapid development to the coffee shop business is Tarakan City, North Kalimantan. Although compared to other cities in Kalimantan, perhaps the result of coffee shops in Tarakan is a little behind 3-4 years, for example, from Balikpapan and Banjarmasin's towns. Tarakan City's coffee shops have increased quite rapidly from 2019 to 2021. The location of coffee shops in Tarakan City is spread around the trading area, offices, and residential areas.   The presence of coffee shops in several places, on the one hand, has a positive impact, namely reviving the area around the shop, which was initially quiet and vulnerable, becoming crowded. Still, on the other hand, it also sometimes has a negative impact, such as traffic jams, parking difficulties, and noise from coffee shop activities. Therefore, choosing a coffee shop location is a challenge in itself. This study aims to determine the influence of several primary factors that underlie coffee shop owners selecting a place to establish their coffee shop in Tarakan City. The proliferation of trendy coffee shops in the city's economic development helped accelerate economic recovery during the pandemic and develop new financial centres in Tarakan City, especially trading activities. And services. This research is still the author's ideas/thoughts who see that the development of coffee shops from day to day is a unique phenomenon of a city.   Furthermore, it happened in almost all big cities in Indonesia. The data used is information obtained from the coffee community consisting of coffee shop owners and baristas in Tarakan City. Based on the observations, four factors describe the character of choosing a coffee shop location in Tarakan City. The factors that influence the selection of coffee shop locations in Tarakan City are location flexibility/accessibility, suitability/accuracy, support/support around the area, and other additional factors. Location flexibility is the range of easy access to the shop's location and how customers/customers can easily reach it. Location suitability is the accuracy of choosing the shop's location with specific considerations to accommodate the needs of the coffee shop's activities. Another factor is other factors considered for site selection but relatively do not significantly influence the location of coffee shops in Tarakan City, including contract cost efficiency.
