Smart classroom teaching is one of the new teaching methods. With the support of technology, teaching is carried out with the help of smart teaching tools to enhance teacher-student communication, enhance students’ learning autonomy, and provide new ideas for the realization of students’ deep learning. How to promote the overall intelligence of the teaching environment so that the teaching equipment can be used more efficiently and managed more effectively has become the main concern of schools. This article mainly studies the smart classroom system based on the Internet of Things technology and smart classroom. For temperature detection, we mainly use the DS18B20 chip to detect the temperature in the classroom. For the light intensity of the classroom, we use a photoresistor to collect the light data, and after amplification by the amplifier, the A/D sampling process of the single-chip microcomputer is used to obtain the light intensity, combined with the clock module to distinguish the influence of the classroom light. The data collection adopts the method of directly observing the source data, and the data format has not undergone secondary conversion, which ensures the accuracy of the source data. This test uses the USR-TCP232 network debugging assistant to debug the data collection. To optimize the safety and reliability of the system, dual-computer backup switching is adopted on the hardware, and process monitoring and management strategies are adopted on the software. At the same time, the amount of data interaction in the smart classroom is relatively large, so it is necessary to build a highly available cluster server, so that the system not only has a certain degree of stability, but also can quickly respond to users’ access requests. We can calculate that the average transmission time is about 10 ms, and 99.9% of the data transmission delay is less than 30 ms. The results show that the Internet of Things and smart classroom provide great convenience for future smart campus construction, daily teaching, and campus management and can also provide reference for the construction of smart classrooms in other universities.

The article studies the smart spaces approach applied for development of mobile healthcare (m-Health) services deploying in Internet of Things (IoT) environments. The authors consider a reference architecture model of the service ecosystem with focus on intelligent utilization of multi-source data originated from the IoT environment. Based on the architecture the authors introduce two reference scenarios: assistance in providing the first aid and communication with the hospital information system. For the architectural model and the scenarios pilot implementations are developed on the open source Smart-M3 platform.

<p>Visible Light Communication is a communication method that transmits data through light by pulsing an LED at high speed, performing broadcast communication for all devices existing in its coverage. Broadcast-based Visible Light Communication is limited to application to Internet of Things services, where various applications exist, although all receivers can communicate within the range of light sources. Therefore, this paper proposes an LED based Visible Light Communication system for multicast. The proposed system performs individual multicast by participating in communication only with receivers configured to use a specified ID value input at the transmitting side during data transmission. Experimental results show that the receiver can receive files individually according to a specified ID value.</p>

The existing stand-alone multimedia machines and online multimedia machines in the market have certain deficiencies, so they cannot meet the actual needs. Based on this, this research combines the actual needs to design and implement a multi-media system based on the Internet of Things and cloud service platform. Moreover, through in-depth research on the MQTT protocol, this study proposes a message encryption verification scheme for the MQTT protocol, which can solve the problem of low message security in the Internet of Things communication to a certain extent. In addition, through research on the fusion technology of the Internet of Things and artificial intelligence, this research designs scheme to provide a LightGBM intelligent prediction module interface, MQTT message middleware, device management system, intelligent prediction and push interface for the cloud platform. Finally, this research completes the design and implementation of the cloud platform and tests the function and performance of the built multimedia system database. The research results show that the multimedia database constructed in this paper has good performance.

The calculations required in project activities for engineering students are commonly performed in electronic spreadsheets. Practice has shown that utilizing those calculations could prove to be quite difficult for students of other fields. One of the causes for such situation (as well as partly for problems observed during Java and C programming languages courses) lies in the lack of a streamlined distribution structure for both the source data and the end results. A solution could be found in utilizing a shared approach for information structuring in spreadsheet and software environment, called “the Book Method”, which takes into account the engineering psychology issues regarding the user friendliness of working with electronic information. This method can be applied at different levels in academic institutions and at teacher training courses.
