AbstractWith the rapid development of digital media technology represented by the Internet and convergent media, human society entered the “meta-media age” at the end of the twentieth century. Regarded as the “media of media,” meta-media, or the terminal screens connected by the Internet, integrate all existing media forms and their communication patterns by translating, remodeling, and even re-forming their sign-texts. Accordingly, “remediation” has become the dominant way to construct the meaning of signs in meta-media. It should be noted that the remediation of meta-media changes not only the form of the existing media, but also the way we communicate with signs. Hence, from the perspective of the semiotics of communication, this paper considers the features and cultural influence of symbolic communication in the meta-media age based on Roman Jakobson’s six factors/functions of signs model.

Digital Media Art and Design is based on a visual art, design, computer graphics and media technology intersect science disciplines of digital media. Meanwhile it is also the product of the combination of the rapid development of information technology and the arts. Through the application of Digital Media Art and Design, it not only brings innovations for modern visual communication art and design but also provides a rich form of expression and communication carriers for the folk art design, which makes it rise from the traditional to the digital level, process level. This kind of design innovates an innovative style. The elements of art and culture with national spirit got the better show in digital media technology, which makes the folk art entered its post-modern stage enter its post-modern stage, and no longer presents the main characteristics of a single.

Cyberlibertarianism, broadly speaking, refers to a discourse that claims that the Internet and related digital media technology can and should constitute spaces of individual liberty. Liberty here is understood as non-interference such that individuals are able to act and express themselves as they choose, and thus are self-governed, where interference is understood as most readily emanating from governments but also at times from corporations, particularly crony-capitalist ones. Various strands of this discourse have developed over the last few decades. These strands differ in the weight that they place on technology, markets, policy, and law for securing cyberspace as a space of, and for, individual freedom.

<div class="page" title="Page 1"><div class="layoutArea"><div class="column"><p><span>Any change can occur when the rapid development of technology and information, which makes everything, including culture, must be able to co-exist with technology. Seeing the decline in Mesatua culture in Bali, the Mesatua tradition in Balinese society seems almost extinct. This can make a possibility for the loss of traditional culture which has cultural values that are very important for children. However, with the efforts to preserve culture through the use of digital media technology. Mesatua Bali, which was originally known as oral culture, is now becoming known as an image culture that is poured into digital media with interesting picture stories for children. To meet the data requirements used as research material, a descriptive qualitative research method is used to describe the phenomenon of change that occurs based on data collection through observation, documentation and literature study. The Mesatua Balinese culture in its preservation experiences a phenomenon of change in 3 periods, namely; oral period, writing period, and drawing period. In the phenomenon of change, each period has an impact or aspect of phenomena that causes new phenomena, changing phenomena, permanent phenomena, and even a phenomenon that is missing in the development of efforts to preserve Mesatua Bali culture. </span></p></div></div></div>

The animation construction of forest scene is a virtual stand scene visualization framework which uses the related technologies of virtual forest modeling and stand scene visualization, and uses the scene graph technology to manage. This paper studies the influence of digital media technology on the animation design of forest scene. In this paper, the model of virtual stand scene is mainly completed by Creator modeling software of MultiGen company. In order to reduce the number of scene patches and ensure realism, the tree model is designed with OpenFlight tree hierarchy. At the same time, the key technologies of Creator modeling and model optimization are analyzed. The virtual stand scene visualization framework uses the open source graphics rendering engine OpenSceneGraph (OSG) as the scene driver to realize the stand scene visualization. This paper provides a variety of roaming control methods. The experimental results show that the virtual forest scene visualization framework can better simulate the forest scene and has a strong sense of reality.
