Abstract The paper presents construction of the fuzzy logic system to analog circuits parametric fault diagnosis. The classical dictionary construction is replaced by fuzzy rule system. The first part refers to analog fault diagnosis, its techniques, approaches and goals. It clarifies common strategy and define differences between detecting, locating and identifying a fault in analog electronic circuit. The second part is focused on a creation of fuzzy rule expert system with use of sensitivity functions and known circuit topology. To detect, locate and identify a faulty element in a circuit the sensitivity matrix is used. The advantage of the method is its utilization in all, AC, DC and time domain. The fuzzy system, like the classical fault dictionary, can detect and locate single catastrophic faults and, on the contrary to the classical one, it also detects and locates parametric faults. Moreover, it allows identification of these faults, such that sign of the faulty parameter deviation is designated. The method has deterministic character as well as it can be applied on the verification and production stage

Fault dictionary is the most practical method of fault diagnosis in analog circuit. Before analog circuit with tolerance is diagnosed, circuit is simulated by computer. Typical parameters of every state are used to build fault dictionary. Distance algorithm is used to calculate the similarity between current circuit and every state of fault dictionary. Analog circuit with tolerance can be diagnosed by the distance. Firstly, the method of simulation-before-test is introduced to build fault dictionary. Secondly, familiar distance algorithm is resumed, such as Euclidean distance. Finally, an example of fault diagnosis of analog circuit with tolerance is provided. In the example, simulation-before-test and distance algorithm are combined to diagnose analog circuit with tolerance. Two distance methods are compared to explain the advantages and disadvantages of the Euclidean distance algorithm.

Abstract— Fuzzy Decision Making involves a process of selecting one or more alternatives or solutions from a finite set of alternatives which suits a set of constraints. In the rule-based expert system, the terms following in the decision making is using knowledge based and the IF Statements of the rule are called the premises, while the THEN part of the rule is called conclusion. Membership function and knowledge based determines the performance of fuzzy rule based expert system. Membership function determines the performance of fuzzy logic as it relates to represent fuzzy set in a computer. Knowledge Based in the other side relates to capturing human cognitive and judgemental processes, such as thinking and reasoning. In this paper, we have proposed a method by using Max-Min Composition combined with Genetic Algorithm for determining membership function of Fuzzy Logic and Schema Mapping Translation for the rules assignment. Keywords— Fuzzy Decision Making, Rule-Based Expert System, Membership Function, Knowledge Based, Max-Min Composition, Schema Mapping Translation

In the field of medicine decision making it is very important to deal with uncertainties, knowledge, and information. Decision making depends upon the experience, capability, and the observation of doctors. In the case of complex situations, it is very tough to give a correct decision. So computer-based procedure is very much essential. Fuzzy Expert System is used for decision making in the field of medicine. Fuzzy expert system consists of the following elements, fuzzification interface, S Fuzzy Assessment Methodology, and defuzzification. S Fuzzy Assessment Methodology uses the K Ratio to find overlap between membership function. To measure the similarity between fuzzy set, fuzzy number, and fuzzy rule, T Fuzzy similarity is used. Similar fuzzy sets are merged to form a common set; a new methodology was framed to identify the similarity between fuzzy rules with fuzzy numbers, and S Weights are to manage uncertainty in rules. S Weights use consequent and antecedent part of each rule. The efficiency of the proposed algorithm was implemented using MATLAB Fuzzy Logic tool box to construct a fuzzy expert system to diagnose diabetes.

The parametric fault diagnosis of analog circuits is very crucial for condition-based maintenance (CBM) in prognosis and health management. In order to improve the diagnostic rate of parametric faults in engineering applications, a semi-supervised machine learning algorithm was used to classify the parametric fault. A lifting wavelet transform was used to extract fault features, a local preserving mapping algorithm was adopted to optimize the Fisher linear discriminant analysis, and a semi-supervised cooperative training algorithm was utilized for fault classification. In the proposed method, the fault values were randomly selected as training samples in a range of parametric fault intervals, for both optimizing the generalization of the model and improving the fault diagnosis rate. Furthermore, after semi-supervised dimensionality reduction and semi-supervised classification were applied, the diagnosis rate was slightly higher than the existing training model by fixing the value of the analyzed component.
