Recently, the production environment has been rapidly changing, and accordingly, correct mid term and short term decision-making for production is considered more important. Reliable indicators are required for correct decision-making, and the manufacturing cycle time plays an important role in manufacturing. A method using digital twin technology is being studied to implement accurate prediction, and an approach utilizing process discovery was recently proposed. This paper proposes a digital twin discovery framework using process transition technology. The generated digital twin will unearth its characteristics in the event log. The proposed method was applied to actual manufacturing data, and the experimental results demonstrate that the proposed method is effective at discovering digital twins.

Abstract Machine Learning is an application of Artificial Intelligence where the method begins with observations on data. In the medical field, it is very important to make a correct decision within less time while treating a patient. Here ML techniques play a major role in predicting the disease by considering the vast amount of data that is produced by the healthcare field. In India, heart disease is the major cause of death. According to WHO, it can predict and prevent stroke by timely actions. In this paper, the study is useful to predict cardiovascular disease with better accuracy by applying ML techniques like Decision Tree and Naïve Bayes and also with the help of risk factors. The dataset that we considered is the Heart Failure Dataset which consists of 13 attributes. In the process of analyzing the performance of techniques, the collected data should be pre-processed. Later, it should follow by feature selection and reduction.

The review is dedicated to the new book of Prof. Vladko Murdarov, DSc „Miscelaneous tips about verbs“, which draws attention to the hesitations and mistakes that Bulgarians most often make with verbs in their oral speech. Examples related to the mispronunciation of verbs and verb forms, as well as the expressions in which they are included, are selected, and the possible reasons for the mistakes are indicated. An assessment of a number of new phenomena in our language, manifested in public speech, which are waiting for the most correct decision, is also given.

This article presents the analysis of uncertainty and effectiveness in cost to construction project. Theoretical part describes various definitions of uncertainty, risk both with there sources as calculation bias, information ambiguity and data inaccuracy in construction projects. Main analysis is connected with the project's appraisal phase and its stages were the detailed information is the crucial factor for correct decision- making procedures under uncertainty and risk. Consequently this article is presenting various types risk what are undistinguishable from uncertainty circumstances in construction. After the description of risk and uncertainty types list of solutions were prepared. Application of the suggested risk and uncertainty extenuating techniques in practice was shown as analysis of precision and bias dependence with available information at different stages of appraisal phase. It is emphasized on uncertainty and risk management problem in the construction's decision- making. Recently methods based on the utility theory, game theory, statistical distribution and probability, were improved and adjusted due to decision-making needs in construction. That is why the model with implemented multiple-criteria approaches is suggested both as a tool for dealing with the uncertainty and risk problems and to meet the needs of project managers in appraisal phase.

In order to assess the state of affairs in a region with account for the economic, socio-demographic and environmental aspects, to find out the causes of backwardness, and to work out ameliorating measures, it is reasonable to regard each administrative-territorial unit (ATU) as an integral socio-environmentally-economic system (SEES). ATUs in the Nizhegorodskaya Oblast were chosen to evaluate the suggested approach to integral analysis of SEES conditions and developmental degree. The approach implies calculating the values of the generalized desirability function (GDF) and their assessment using principal components and SWOT analyses. The calculated GDF values for the years 2016–2018 made it possible to distinguish leaders and outsiders among ATUs. Among all ATUs, 78% fall into the two lower classes of GDF gradation, which means that conditions are poor there. The results were confirmed by statistical analysis and were interpreted analytically using SWOT analysis. The suggested methodology makes it possible to distinguish “pain spots” and “points of increase” and correct decision making aimed to promote sustainable development at a regional level.

Abstract Background: Pulmonary fibrosis is a devastating chronic lung disease that causes irreparable lung tissue scarring and damage, resulting in progressive loss in lung capacity and has no known cure. A critical step in the treatment and management of pulmonary fibrosis is the assessment of lung function decline, with computed tomography (CT) imaging being a particularly effective method for determining the extent of lung damage caused by pulmonary fibrosis. Motivated by this, we introduce Fibrosis-Net, a deep convolutional neural network design tailored for the prediction of pulmonary fibrosis progression from chest CT images. More specifically, machine-driven design exploration was leveraged to determine a strong architectural design for CT lung analysis, upon which we build a customized network design tailored for predicting forced vital capacity (FVC) based on a patient's CT scan, initial spirometry measurement, and clinical metadata. Finally, we leverage an explainability-driven performance validation strategy to study the decision-making behaviour of Fibrosis-Net as to verify that predictions are based on relevant visual indicators in CT images. Results: Experiments using a patient cohort from the OSIC Pulmonary Fibrosis Progression Challenge showed that the proposed Fibrosis-Net is able to achieve a significantly higher modified Laplace Log Likelihood score than the winning solutions on the challenge. Furthermore, explainability-driven performance validation demonstrated that the proposed Fibrosis-Net exhibits correct decision-making behaviour by leveraging clinically-relevant visual indicators in CT images when making predictions on pulmonary fibrosis progress. Conclusion: Fibrosis-Net is able to achieve a significantly higher modified Laplace Log Likelihood score than the winning solutions on the OSIC Pulmonary Fibrosis Progression Challenge, and has been shown to exhibit correct decision-making behaviour when making predictions. Fibrosis-Net is available to the general public in an open-source and open access manner as part of the OpenMedAI initiative. While Fibrosis-Net is not yet a production-ready clinical assessment solution, we hope that its release will encourage researchers, clinicians, and citizen data scientists alike to leverage and build upon it.

This chapter examines the status, appointment, and removal of the emergency arbitrator. In an emergency arbitration, all power is concentrated in the emergency arbitrator as the sole decision-maker. The emergency arbitrator must provide justice on the run, by determining the application within narrowly prescribed timeframes, and making snap decisions that may have significant consequences for the parties. Thus, the identity of the emergency arbitrator is critical to the smooth conduct of proceedings and, more importantly, to ensuring the correct decision on the application is reached. The emergency arbitrator is appointed within a rapid timeframe, and generally without party input. However, the emergency arbitrator has been identified to have various legal peculiarities. Nevertheless, the status of the emergency arbitrator does not impact on the conduct of proceedings. This issue only comes to the fore in the context of enforcement of the emergency arbitrator's decision.

The powerful Ontario Municipal Board (OMB, or the Board) has long been maligned as an unelected provincial body with the authority to meddle with local land-use planning decisions. Concurrently, politicians have been accused of abusing the purpose of the OMB by pushing politically contentious decisions on the Board, rather than oppose an active neighbourhood association. This paper argues that these issues stem from the Board’s "standard of review", which guides the OMB to make the "most correct" decision, sometimes in opposition to the municipality. If the OMB adopted a standard of review of "reasonableness" when reviewing land use planning appeals like the Nova Scotia Utility and Review Board does, much greater deference would be given to municipalities by the Board. This would keep the expertise of the OMB intact, without the radical impacts to development that may accompany the creation of a new process for appealing municipal decisions.
