Abstract Introduction: Congenital anomalies of the kidney and urinary tract (CAKUT) represent several types of malformations with occurrence of 1 in about 500 live births. Objective: Small for gestation age (SGA) may influence in prevalence of CAKUT and progression of chronic kidney disease (CKD) in children. The aim of this study was to elaborate our experiences with detected CAKUT in a cohort of SGA born children in Macedonia. Methods: Our cohort consisted of 100 SGA born children investigated for associated congenital anomalies of urinary tract. We analyzed anthropometric and clinical birth data in children with diagnosed CAKUT and estimated the stage and time of onset of CKD by biochemical and imaging technics. Results: We revealed 7 (7.0%) SGA born children with congenital anomalies of the urinary tract. Their mean birth weight was very low 1855 gr (-3.93 SDS) and the birth length 45.57cm (-2.17 SDS), as well. A significant growth failure with reduced weight and BMI were noticed at the time of diagnosis. A diagnosis of CAKUT in 4/7 was established in the first few months of life, but in others 3 later in early childhood. Three children revealed with unilateral kidney agenesis, 2 had hypo-dysplastic kidneys and in 2 children was found vesicoureteral reflux. Normal glomerular filtration rate was estimated in 2 children with CAKUT. Stage 2 CKD with GFR 60-90 ml/minx1.73m2 had 3 children, 1 patient was graded in stage 3 and one child needed kidney transplantation, stage 5 CKD. Conclusions: We presented 7 SGA born children with CAKUT. An early recognition, assessment and treatment of these anomalies might improve their quality of life.

Spontaneous pneumothorax is reportedly occurring in 0.05% to 1% of all live births.1,2 Pediatricians have long been aware of the apparent association between spontaneous pneumothorax, with or without pneumomediastinum, and congenital anomalies of the urinary tract. However, reports of the incidence of this relationship have been inconclusive, based on small numbers of infants.3-5 We therefore sought to determine this incidence in a large clinical population. METHODS We reviewed the records of all 6,236 infants admitted to the neonatology unit during 1961-1967 and selected all cases of spontaneous pneumothorax or pneumomediastinum or both (lung rupture) and of congenital urinary tract anomalies.

Eating disorders typically appear during childhood or adolescence, but they can go unrecognized by clinicians or parents, delaying diagnosis and treatment. Early recognition and treatment is essential because early disordered eating patterns can be associated with an eating disorder diagnosis in adolescence or adulthood. Children presenting with an eating or feeding disorder offer a unique set of challenges. The feeding and eating disorders share a common pattern of maladaptive eating behaviors and impaired quality of life, and although the diagnoses have distinct clinical concerns, issues pertaining to assessment and treatment are overlapping. This chapter reviews the clinical presentations of feeding and eating disorders in youth aged 7–13 years, including assessment strategies and treatment approaches.

Kata kunci -- Penyiraman Tanaman, Penyiraman Secara Otomatis, Telegram.ABSTRACT                Factors that determine the failure of a plant's growth of almost are influenced by incorrect cropping techniques or methods. This is caused by the technique of watering is done manually so that not all plants get a uniform water intake to avoid crops withered. Another factor that causes plant growth failure is soil moisture.          Therefore, to reduce the problem was designed "Telegram Based Water Planting Automation System". The system includes automatic watering of plants based on moisture level of the soil with a notification or notification system that will be sent to farmers using Telegram smart phone applications.          This system has been able to control the watering according to the desired conditions. With the telegraph-based plant watering plant automation system can improve the efficiency and effectiveness of farmers so that the quality of the plant can be maintained properly. Keywords -- Watering Plants, Watering Automatically, Telegram.

Psoas muscle abscess associated with emphysematous urinary tract infection is very rare. There were very few reports about urinary tract infections such as renal abscess, perinephric abscess, and emphysematous pyelonephritis complicated with psoas muscle abscess; however, psoas muscle abscess associated with emphysematous cystitis has not yet been reported. Here, we report a case of bilateral posas muscle abscess following emphysematous cystitis in an 81-year-old nondiabetic man, who was treated successfully with prolonged antibiotic therapy and supportive care. Early recognition of psoas muscle abscess can prevent aggressive interventional procedure and warrant good prognosis.
