BACKGROUND Background: Nowadays, the application of computer technology in the medical field is more and more extensive, and many diseases can achieve better diagnosis and treatment effects through computer technology. OBJECTIVE Objective: The paper applies intelligent facial dynamic image information to the clinical treatment of peripheral acupuncture and moxibustion for the treatment of peripheral facial paralysis. An automatic acupoint positioning algorithm based on facial information dynamic image is proposed, which provides an objective and standard basis for the treatment of facial acupuncture and moxibustion. METHODS Methods: The paper selects the head threshold, that is, the facial dynamic image information as the research background, and divides the facial features according to the "three courts and five eyes" rule, and uses the Minimum Eigenvalue operator to detect the corner points of the facial features, locate the facial features, and use the face. The feature position is used as a reference coordinate for facial acupoint positioning. RESULTS Results: After verification, it was found that the positioning was accurate, and the peripheral facial paralysis of the patient was improved after warm acupuncture point positioning treatment, which improved the facial nerve function of the patient, improved the treatment efficiency and shortened the treatment time. Therefore, this technology is worthy of clinical promotion. CONCLUSIONS Conclusion: Through experimental analysis, the algorithm is proved to be effective and accurate. Based on facial dynamic image information to locate acupoints, warm acupuncture has a significant effect on peripheral facial paralysis, which can significantly improve facial nerve function and shorten treatment time, which is worthy of clinical promotion.

Studies on the treatment of chronic fatigue syndrome (CFS) with acupuncture and moxibustion in China were reviewed. All studies concluded the treatments were effective, with response rates ranging from 78.95% to 100%. However, the qualities of the studies were generally poor, and none of them used a RCT design. The common acupoints/sites used in the treatment of CFS, which may reflect the collective experience of acupuncturists in China based on Traditional Chinese Medicine theories can be used to evaluate the effectiveness of acupuncture for the treatment of CFS in future studies using more scientifically rigorous study designs.

Objective. To observe the effect of preventive acupuncture and moxibustion on blood lipid of menopause rats.Methods. Seventy 10-month-old SD rats with estrous cycle disorders were divided into three control groups and four treatment groups (n=10/group) and another ten 3.5-month-old female SD rats were chosen as young control group. Preventive acupuncture and moxibustion were applied at Guanyuan (CV 4). Body weight growth rate has been recorded. Plasma total cholesterol (TC), triglyceride (TG), low density lipoprotein (LDL), and high density lipoprotein (HDL) levels and uterusE2level were measured.Results. Compared to young control group, plasma TC and LDL increased and uterusE2reduced significantly in 12-month-old control group. Compared to 12-month-old control group, plasma TC and LDL level and body weight growth rate decreased while HDL level increased remarkably in preventive acupuncture 12-month-old group. Compared to 14-month-old control group, plasma TC level and body weight growth rate decreased remarkably in preventive moxibustion 14-month-old group.Conclusions. Preventive acupuncture and moxibustion can significantly decrease the plasma TG and LDL, increase the plasma HDL, and prevent fat accumulation. Our finding suggests that preventive acupuncture and moxibustion have beneficial effects on blood lipid. Different treatment effects were found between preventive acupuncture and preventive moxibustion.

More and more evidences show that the imbalance of intestinal flora is closely related to the occurrence of diseases. Through the regulation of intestinal microecology to prevent and treat diseases, it becomes a new entry point to treat diseases. As a typical representative of non-drug therapy, acupuncture and moxibustion plays an obvious role in regulating intestinal flora imbalance. This paper summarizes the effect and mechanism of acupuncture and moxibustion intervention on intestinal flora in the past ten years to provide more evidence for the treatment of diseases caused by intestinal flora imbalance.
