This research is an examination and a study on the influence of rewards on job satisfaction of lecturers at Shinas College of Technology (ShCT). In academic industry, rewards are one of the factors that affecting job satisfaction of the employees and this will lead to affect their performance in their jobs. So, when rewards are more the job satisfaction will be high and when rewards are less the job satisfaction will be less. On the other hand, the age will not affect the job satisfaction. Previous research reveals that Job satisfaction is very important to success the industry and the rewards are the main factors which affect job satisfaction. The main purpose of this study is to know the influence of rewards in job satisfaction among the lecturers in ShCT. Moreover, this research attempts to identify how much rewards affect the job satisfaction in ShCT.  For this study used two types of data which are: primary data and secondary data. The sources of primary data is the response from lecturers at ShCT. It is collected through structured questionnaire and distributed such to 60 respondents. Secondary data, collected from internet, books, journals, articles etc.

Employees of this day are not confined only to the physical space that they occupy during office hours. Today's workstations are connected environments ensuring instant access to other employees and anything that employees need for work which goes beyond any communication barriers and as a result is changing employee experiences to better engaged, innovative, and efficient ones. All these changes have given way to alterations in employee interrelation dynamics within the boundaries of technological environments. The chapter leads to an understanding of how today's work culture has changed, what the digitized workplace looks like, the where and how of task-technology fits, and the model of interpersonal relationships. The chapter also talks about the related implications of media richness theory at workplace with special reference to digitized work environment and virtual reality. Further, the chapter brings in the challenges of cyberloafing and phubbing as consequences of the digitized workplace and how those affect performance and employee relations.

The purpose of this paper is to develop an understanding of employee's retention in manufacturing organizations. The factors identified for the study are work culture, training, compensation, motivation of employee's for their profession, and employee's personality factors which are mediating through job satisfaction of employees. The study established statistically significant relationship between the factors and employee's retention with mediation effect of job satisfaction. Results revealed the importance of job satisfaction as a mediator in predicting employee's retention in manufacturing industry.

Job Satisfaction is a cognitive assessment of an employee's effective evaluation of work. Employee satisfaction at work must be the main thing to be realized before satisfaction service is provide to customer. Employee  who have good satisfaction at work will give a good performance, because job satisfaction is results of assessmet of employee performance toward job quality. Employee are inseparable from work culture of organization. Therefore, to improve value and image of organization, a service culture is needed to increase work satisfaction. This research uses quantitative methods with survey strategy. Determination of respondent using total sampling techniques. While data were collected using a questionnaire instrument that was valid and reliable. The collected data was processed used IBM SPSS application version 20.0. Analysis of research data was used path analysis. This study found that work culture have direct and indirect effects on job satisfaction of employee in Health Office of Pariaman City.

Abstract Transformational leaders encourage their subordinates to achieve organizational goals and objectives and to reach their full potential by providing the needed resources. This increasing influence of transformational leaders on employees instigated us to find out the impact of transformational leadership on employees’ job satisfaction. The study was conducted in the public sectors universities of KPK, Pakistan. A sample size of 130 employees was selected using convenient sampling techniques. The data was collected from grade 16 and upper level of employees in the universities. Initially, 130 questionnaires were sent out to the target population for their participation in the survey; out of which 100 filled questionnaires were received forming percentage of 76.92%. These 100 properly filled questionnaires were used for statistical analysis. Both descriptive and advance multivariate statistical, correlation and regression analysis, were conducted to get a feel for the data and to test the postulated hypothesis respectively. Findings of the study revealed that there was non-significant influence of transformational leadership in terms of idealized influence, individualized consideration, and inspirational motivation on employees’ job satisfaction in the public sectors universities of KPK, Pakistan. However, the intellectual stimulation type of leadership had positive and significant impact on employees’ job satisfaction. The paper contributes to the literature review in context of non-forprofit organizations in a developing country and provides implications for universities’ executives to pay more attention to intellectual stimulation type of leadership to increase employees’ satisfaction and thus help achieve the universities goals and objectives.
