The tasks of making the most appropriate decisions taking into account a number of criteria are dealt with in variousfields such as engineering, industry, finance, economics and others. If the aim is to arrange the alternatives in a priority lineaccording to quantitative attributes, then multiattribute decision-making methods are suitable. Analysts using these methods usuallydo not take into account initial data errors – deviations in attribute values, in which case the decision may be unreliable. In thisarticle, several statistical analysis methods are proposed for the multicriteria decision to measure reliability: formulation of statisticalhypotheses and calculation of confidence intervals for parameters. Based on statistical analysis results, conclusions about thereliability of a multicriteria decision obtained using the TOPSIS method are formulated.

The present article investigates the sensitivity of the multiple criteria decision-making method TOPSIS in respectof attribute probability distributions. To carry out research, initial data – attribute values – were generated according to anormal, log-normal, uniform, and beta distributions. Decision matrixes were constructed from the generated data. Byapplying the TOPSIS method to the matrixes generated, result samples were received. A statistical analysis was conductedfor the results obtained, which revealed that the distributions of the initial data comply with the distributions of the resultsreceived by the TOPSIS method. According to the most common alternative rank value, it was ascertained that the TOPSISmethod is the most sensitive for data distribution according to beta distribution, and the least sensitive for data distributionaccording to lognormal distribution.

In this paper we describe the application's fields of the sensitivity analysis methods. We pass in review the application of these methods in multiple criteria decision making, when the initial data are numbers. We formulate the problem, which of the sensitivity analysis methods is more effective for the usage in the decision making process.

At this time many people have started selling online. Even though only with makeshift items to make online sales, not a few people have succeeded in making these online sales. The TOPSIS method is one of the multicriteria decision-making methods, this method is one that is widely used to complete practical decision making. The more factors that must be considered in the decision making process, the more difficult it will be to make a decision on an issue. identification of research problems is the application of the DSS in determining the level of risk of online sales. This system was built using the PHP programming language with data management using the MySQL database. Rank results 1. Furniture = 0.8062 2.Electronics = 0.5810 3. Fashion = 0.1230

Multicriteria decision-making (MCDM) is an important branch of operations research which composes multiple-criteria to make decision. TOPSIS is an effective method in handling MCDM problem, while there still exist some shortcomings about it. Upon facing the MCDM problem, various types of uncertainty are inevitable such as incompleteness, fuzziness, and imprecision result from the powerlessness of human beings subjective judgment. However, the TOPSIS method cannot adequately deal with these types of uncertainties. In this paper, aD-TOPSIS method is proposed for MCDM problem based on a new effective and feasible representation of uncertain information, calledDnumbers. TheD-TOPSIS method is an extension of the classical TOPSIS method. Within the proposed method,Dnumbers theory denotes the decision matrix given by experts considering the interrelation of multicriteria. An application about human resources selection, which essentially is a multicriteria decision-making problem, is conducted to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposedD-TOPSIS method.

A great deal of uncertain information which is difficult to quantify is taken into account by farmers and experts in the enterprise when making decisions. We are interested in the problems of the implementation of a rabbit-breeding farm. One of the first decisions to be taken refers to the design or type of structure for housing the animals, which is determined by the level of environmental control sought to be maintained in its interior. A farmer was consulted, and his answers were incorporated into the analysis, by means of the fuzzy TOPSIS methodology. The main purpose of this paper is to study the problem by means of the fuzzy TOPSIS method as multicriteria decision making, when the information was given in linguistic terms.
