In order to realize the optimization of insulation performance of air curtain used in the cold store. The unsteady state simulation of the flow field of air curtain used in the cold store was studied by the CFD software to predict variation of the flow field in the cold store after door and air curtain were opened and the time of the flow field of the cold store arriving to be uniform. The experimental verification was also taken. The simulation results reflected that the temperature of the upper area closing to the door increased first and then decreased, then increased. The intrusive hot air destroyed the original uniform air flow distribution and caused the formation of the swirling eddy. When the whole flow field of the cold store was uniform, the swirling eddy disappeared. The re-circulation moved forward the lower left side of the cold store, which was caused by the intrusive hot air. Local mesh refinement could improve the simulation accuracy and be useful to analyse the flow characteristic of the air curtain. The times of the flow field in the cold store arriving to be uniform predicted by the numerical simulation and experiment after door and air curtain being opened were 5 min and 6 min, respectively. This study will provide useful references for optimization of insulation performance of air curtain.

From the point of view to reduce energy consumption, door open while air conditioner running on buildings have a problem. To solve the problem, many facilities for entrance with vestibule, revolving door, and air curtain are utilized. Among the facilities, the air curtain cuts off the indoor and outdoor air by discharging the wide air surrounding the opening, thereby preventing the heat loss from the indoor. The purpose of this study is to evaluate the heat blocking efficiency of non-recirculating air curtain and to evaluate its optimal discharge velocity. To achieve this goal, the infiltration rate across the single-side opening were investigated with air temperature differences between areas by transient CFD simulation and the results were compared with the steady-state calculation method. In addition, to evaluate the heat blocking efficiency of non-recirculating air curtain, the calculation model was set up and several cases with discharge velocity were compared. The results show that the discharged air from the air curtain causes a deflection from the high temperature area to the low temperature area, and the deflection decreases with increasing the discharge air velocity. In this study, the safety factor for deflection modulus of the non-recirculating air curtain was calculated 2.75.

Certified reference materials (CRM) composed of propyl (11383-2019) and isopropyl (11384-2019) alcohols solutions were created for validation of measurement procedures and control of measurement errors of measurement results of mass concentrations of toxic substances (alcohol) in biological objects (urine, blood) and water. Two ways of establishing the value of the certified characteristic – mass consentration of propanol-1 or propanol-2 have been studied. The results obtained by the preparation procedure and comparison with the standard are the same within the margin of error.
