Health is the best gift, peace is the best wealth. HR is a dynamic concept and so are the HR policies. Work Life Balance has gained tremendous importance since few years. Gone are the days of 9 to 5. When we coin the concept of Business Process Outsourcing or BPO; the thing which strikes our minds is odd timings. It is vital that attention be given to work life balance. Enjoyment and achievement are the two major factors which relate to the overall success of a person in whole. A person works for family & his own satisfaction. If the right balance is struck between work & personal life, it can result into miracles. The study is undertaken to study the effects of quality of work life on the employee performance and employee satisfaction. The factors considered for study are work family conflict, organizational commitment, work exhaustion, work overload, fairness reward, participative decision making, performance enhancement. The findings show that the five factors (Participative Decision making, Work exhaustion, Work overload, Fairness of reward and Performance enhancement) of quality of work life effects the performance of the employees of the banking sector in Nagpur. The four factors (Performance enhancement, Organization Commitment, Fairness of reward and Work family conflict) of quality of work life effect the satisfaction of the employees of the banking sector in Nagpur.

Background: This study aimed to model the relationship between occupational accidents, work-family conflict, and quality of work-life in emergency room nurses. Materials and Methods: This correlational research uses path analysis. The study population consisted of all nurses working in the emergency rooms of hospitals in Tehran City, Iran, in 2020. Of them, 200 samples were selected by the available sampling method. To obtain the data, we used the occupational accidents questionnaire, the quality of work-life questionnaire, and the work-family conflict scale. SPSS v. 24 and Amos v. 24 software were used for data analysis. Results: The analysis of the findings showed that occupational accidents and work-family conflict have a negative and direct effect on the quality of work-life (P<0.01). Occupational accidents also have a positive and direct effect on work-family conflict (P<0.01). On the other hand, the mediating role of work-family conflict between occupational accidents and quality of work-life was confirmed (P<0.01). Conclusion: The relationship model of occupational accidents with quality of work-life mediated by work-family conflict has a good fit, and there is a relationship between family, job, and environmental stressors with the quality of work-life.

PurposeThe main purpose of this study is to link work‐family conflict, quality of work and non‐work lives, quality of life and social support (supervisor and spouse supports). Specifically, it seeks to address three different roles of social support that have theoretical and empirical support and the mediating roles of quality of work life and quality of non‐work life.Design/methodology/approachThe SEM‐based approach has been used to study supervisor and spouse supports as moderators between work‐family conflict and quality of life; independent variables of work‐family conflict; independent variables of quality of life. The study has been carried out in Malaysia.FindingsThe main findings are: work‐family conflict has relationship with quality of life; quality of work life and non‐work life are “partial” mediators between work‐family conflict and quality of life; and, among the various roles of social support, its role as an independent variable of quality of life gives the best results.Research limitations/implicationsThe research is based on a cross‐sectional study conducted in Malaysia and addresses only the spouse and supervisor supports as components of social support.Originality/valueThe research has developed a comprehensive model linking work‐family conflict, quality of work and non‐work lives, and quality of life and has studied the role of social support.

This study examines the relationship between work-family conflict and the quality of work life among nurses in the city of Medan. The author hypothesized that higher level of work-family conflict would be associated with lower quality of work life. Participants were 105 female nurses from the city of Medan. We obtained the data using a questionnaire that measures work-family conflict and quality of work life. We analyzed the data using SPSS 17. The results showed a negative relationship between work-family conflict and quality of work life. Female nurses with higher work-family conflicts tended to have lower quality of work-life than those with lower work-family conflicts. Studi ini meneliti hubungan antara work-family conflict dengan quality of work life. Dihipotesiskan bahwa peningkatan work-family conflict akan diikuti dengan penurunan quality of work life. Partisipan penelitian adalah 105 perawat berjenis kelamin perempuan di kota Medan. Data diperoleh melalui kuesioner yang mengukur work-family conflict dan quality of work life. Data dianalisis menggunakan SPSS 17. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan hubungan negatif antara work-family conflict dengan quality of work life. Perawat dengan work-family conflict yang tinggi cenderung memiliki quality of work life yang rendah.

This study aims to analyze and understand the significance of Islamic Quality of Work Life influence on turnover intention, the significance of Work Family Conflict influence on turnover intention, and the significance of Compensation influence on turnover intention on craftsman of Industry Batik Tulis Bakaran in Juwana Pati. This type of research is included in the interpretive quantitative analysis. This research uses purposive sampling method in determining the sample. The number of respondents is 200 craftsman. Methods of data collection in this study are interviews, documentation, and questionnaires. Data analysis techniques used in this study is the analysis with the SPSS software application program. The results showed that Islamic Quality of Work Life had a positive and significant influence on turnover intention, the Work family Conflict had a negative and significant influence on turnover intention, and the Compensation had a positive and significant influence on turnover intention.

Este ensaio tem como objetivo contribuir para o debate sobre a possibilidade de concretização do conceito de qualidade de vida no trabalho (QVT) diante do processo de intensificação laboral que se verifica na contemporaneidade. Por meio de consulta a resultados de pesquisas que tratam dos efeitos do processo de intensificação laboral sobre os trabalhadores, este artigo revela que, embora as empresas busquem promover QVT por meio de políticas e práticas que visam melhorar a satisfação do trabalhador, os mecanismos de intensificação do trabalho que são adotados com vistas a aumentar a produtividade geram resultados na direção oposta àqueles desejados pelas políticas de QVT. Desta forma, conclui-se que se torna inviável garantir a qualidade vida no trabalho genuína diante do processo de intensificação laboraABSTRACTThis essay aims to contribute to the debate about the possibility of achieving the concept of quality of work life (QWL) in face of the labor intensification process that is taking place in contemporary times. Through literature review of researches that deal with the effects of labor intensification on workers, this article reveals that, although companies seek to promote QWL through policies and practices aimed to improve worker satisfaction, the mechanisms of work intensification adopted to increase productivity generate results in the opposite direction to those desired by QWL policies. Thus, it is concluded that becomes unfeasible to guarantee genuine quality of work life in face of the labor intensification process. Keywords: Work Intensification, Quality of Work Life, Work-family Conflict.

<em>Employee performance is the key driving force for organizational success and at the same time pressure become the part &amp; parcel in organizations for keeping employees motivated to win the competitive race. But undue pressure can causes stress which reduces performance .Stress is ubiquitous phenomenon and a straining condition that has a negative impact on an individual’s physical, physiological, personal and family life. Quality of Work Life is an intricate and comprehensive concept implying a concern for the members of an organization irrespective of the level they belong to. It includes job factors such as health and well-being, working conditions, attitude level etc. the success of any organisation especially in banking sector depends on quality of work life of employees because management of people and management of risk are the two important challenges faced by banks today. So the present study aims to make a comparative study of the quality of work life among public and private sector bank employees in Haryana.</em>

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji, menganalisis menginterprestasi kepemimpinan, kepuasan kerja, Quality of Work Life Terhadap Kinerja Karyawan Melalui Perilaku Pada Hotel Dinasti Kota Makassar. Penelitian ini bersifat deskriftip analisis dengan menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dan pendekatan kualitatif. dan metode analisis yang digunakan Analisis Path/ Path Analysis. Data diperoleh dari Hotel Dinasti Kota Makassar dan Responden adalah karyawan. Hasil penelitian ini dapat menemukan bebe-rapa faktor yang mempengaruhi kinerja karyawan di Hotel Dinasti Kota Makassar, antara lain Kepemimpinan, Kepuasan Kerja, Quality of Work Life dan Perilaku. Kepemimpinan berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap perilaku karyawan. Kepuasan kerja berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap perilaku karyawan. Quality of Work Life berpengaruh positif dan signifikan ter-hadap perilaku karyawan. Kepemimpinan berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan melalui perilaku karya-wan. Kepuasan kerja berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan melalui perilaku karyawan. Quality of Work Life berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan melalui perilaku karyawan.  This study aims to examine, analyze leadership interpretation, job satisfaction, Quality of Work Life Against Employee Performance Through Behavior at the Hotel Dynasty Makassar City. This research is a descriptive analysis using a quantitative approach and a qualitative approach. And the analytical method used is Path Analysis. Data obtained from the Hotel Dynasty Makassar City and respondents were employees. The results of this study can find several factors that affect employee performance in the Makassar City Dynasty Hotel. These include leadership, job satisfaction, quality of work life and behavior. Leadership has a positive and significant effect on employee behavior. Job satisfaction has a positive and significant effect on employee behavior. Quality of Work Life has a positive and significant effect on employee behavior. Leadership has a positive and significant effect on employee performance through employee behavior. Job satisfaction has a positive and significant effect on employee performance through employee behavior. Quality of Work Life has a positive and significant effect on employee performance through employee behavior.

The purpose of this study is to analyze the influence spiritual leadership and reward toward employee performance with quality of work life and job satisfaction as mediating variable. The object of research in this study is Pasuruan Regency Transportation Office. Data analysis uses the Partial Least Square method with the software of SmartPLS. Data is collected by distibuting questionnaire to all of 86 staff as the respondents. The results show Spiritual leadership does not affect the employee performance; reward has no effect on employee performance; Spiritual leadership does not affect employee performance mediated by the quality of work life; Reward cannot influence employee performance through the quality of work life as a mediating variable; Spiritual leadership does not have an effect on employee performance which is mediated by quality of work life; the indirect effect between reward on employee performance through mediating job satisfaction is significant; The quality of work life has insignificant effect on employee performance; Job satisfaction has a positive and significant effect on employee performance. The results give significant implications on practice and literature on the influence of spiritual leadership and reward on performance. This research provides information that can be used as a guideline for the Pasuruan Communication Office to increase employee satisfaction and performance
