The author submitted a report on this to the Cincinnati Medical Society. He examines separately 3 different epochs of a woman's life: 1) the period of virginity, 2) the full development of sexual life, and 3) fading (climacterium). In the 1st, indications for examination are rare. However, the shortcomings of the development of the sexual organs in a girl preparing to marry her husband require the study of such a girl. Dizmenorrhea, which is not inferior to the general treatment or constant pain in the lower abdomen - also give the right to examine the girl. In America, checkup in the 1st is given under anesthesia to avoid pain and mental shock.

Dressmaker, 14 years old; complaints of severe constant pain in the lower abdomen. Recognized the neoplasm of common Fallopian tubes, or ovaries, probably of a sarcomatous nature. Gluttony showed that the tumor, extensively fused with the surrounding organs, belongs to the right appendage. When it was separated, part of its clumpy-purulent contents poured out into the abdominal cavity. The entire tumor was removed and, carefully examined, turned out to be a round-large-cell sarcoma, containing parts of fusiform cells in places.

Sexuality represents one of the basic dimensions of human existence, which is channelled through sexual and gender identification and role, sexual orientation, eroticism, emotional commitment, satisfaction, and reproduction. Sexuality is also linked to many significant health problems, especially in the area of reproductive and sexual health. Sexual health is the condition of physical, emotional, mental, and social wellbeing that is linked with sexuality. Knowledge about sexual health, contraception and selection of contraceptives, and the risk of sexually transmittable diseases is not only relevant for individuals? sexuality; it?s also important for encouraging the use of health services and other forms of support that are necessary to protect youth from sexually transmittable diseases and the maintenance of sexual and re-productive health. When it comes to sexuality and care of reproductive and sexual health, some groups are especially vulnerable. Bearing in mind the specific conditions women with disabilities grow up in and their dependence on assistance and support from other people, satisfying their needs for partnership, sexuality, and parenthood becomes unattainable for many, or it takes place under the control of professionals or family members. In this context, people with visual impairments are part of a vulnerable group, acknowledging that visual impairment leads to limitations in everyday life, autonomy, and quality of life to its full potential. The purpose of this article is to describe the phenomena of sexuality and sexual health among people with visual impairments, and to point out the existing international and national normative frameworks relevant to the sexual health of people with disabilities. Existing legislative acts acknowledge the right to a normal sexual life, as well as to the care and maintenance of the sexual health of people with disabilities. However, there are many obstacles and limitations that hamper the practical application of these rights: health issues, communication problems, lack of privacy, people?s acceptance of the inhibition of their own sexuality, or their acceptance of the labelling and normalisation of their situation. Even considering the existence of the regulation, the system of support for maintaining and improving the sexual and reproductive health of women with disabilities is not developed enough. The lack of literature relating to this topic shows that its importance is not recognised enough among the relevant actors, including organisations that advocate for people with disabilities. Realising the existing general legal framework requires the will of policymakers, who could enact and implement specific bylaw regulations, as well as activating the societal actors relevant to this field.

Primary omental infarction (POI) has a low incidence worldwide, with most cases occurring in adults. This condition is rarely considered in the differential diagnosis of acute abdominal pain in childhood. Herein, we present a case of omental infarction in an obese 10-year-old boy who presented with acute abdominal pain in the right lower abdomen. The ultrasound (US) examination did not reveal the appendix but showed secondary signs suggesting acute appendicitis. The child was thus operated on under the preoperative diagnosis of acute appendicitis but the intraoperative finding was omental infarct. Since the omental infarct as etiology of acute abdominal pain is uncommon, we highlight some of the possible etiologies and emphasize the importance of accurate diagnosis and appropriate treatment of omental infarction.

Bladder cancer is the second most common genitourinary malignancy and has variable metastatic potential; however, choroidal and cutaneous metastases are extremely rare. Generally, a patient with these uncommon metastases has a very poor prognosis. We present a bladder cancer patient with a visual disorder in the right eye and multiple nodules on head and lower abdomen that developed 17 months after a radical cystectomy. These symptoms were determined to be caused by choroidal and cutaneous metastasis of bladder cancer. Although two cycles of combination chemotherapy were performed, the patient died 5 months after diagnosis of multiple metastases.

Mayer-Rokitansky-Kuster-Hauser syndrome (MRKH) is a congenital anomaly of the genital tract that occurs in about 1 in 4000 women. MRKH syndrome can be associated with renal, skeletal, heart and hearing abnormalities. The frequency of renal/urinary tract abnormalities is 33%. Only a few cases of fibroid development in MRKH syndrome have been described in the literature. The diagnosis and surgery of a fibroid in MRKH syndrome may be complicated in associated kidney abnormality by an atypical kidney position, as in this case: pelvic kidney on one side and renal agenesia on the contralateral side. Authors present the case of a 47-year-old female patient with a known MRKH syndrome and a pelvic kidney on the right side who had presented with an unclear tumour in the right lower abdomen. A completed CT scan revealed the tumour directly next to the pelvic kidney. A malignancy could not be excluded with certainty, so that a laparoscopy in laparotomy readiness was indicated and performed. During surgery, two rudimentary uterine horns were found; on the right side retroperitoneally, below the uterine horn, the tumour was located and directly below it there was a soft tissue alteration, probably the kidney. For safety, a vaginal sonography was performed in between, to clearly identify the only kidney and to avoid damaging it. The tumour could be extirpated laparoscopically without kidney injury. The two uterine horns were removed simultaneously. Histologically the fibroid could be confirmed. In addition, three other fibroids (one on the left side and two on the right side) were detected. Due to the high probability of a simultaneous kidney abnormality in the MRKH syndrome, authors suggest an accurate kidney diagnosis preoperatively. If necessary, in the case of a pelvic kidney and/or renal agenesia, as in this case, an additional intraoperative kidney check should be performed.
