A case history is presented, where hypersexuality could be conceptualized as a manifestation of persistent genital arousal disorder / restless genital syndrome [PGAD/ReGS]. Female patient Sh., 75, who sought our medical advice on April 16, 2015, presented complaints about a feeling of a “sexual drive in my pubic region”, burning in her legs (along the inner surface of her thighs), in her pubis and on her abdomen over the pubis in a small area. “I need intimacy, but I understand with my head that it is not necessary for me”. The above burning and sexual desire were felt, but not always. The appearance of the desire coincided with the appearance of the burning. At first, the burning developed and was followed by the desire, or on the contrary. The burning and desire could begin in the morning and trouble her all day long, but when she was engaged into some activity, she changed over and forgot about it. The appearance of the disorder was preceded with the death of her elder brother, who some time before was actually a substitute for her father. He always supported her both morally and financially. He was a rather valued personality for her, she loved him very much. Therefore, she took his death, which happened in the beginning of December in 2013, very hard. The disorder, concerning which the patient consulted me, appeared on February 14, 2014. She woke up in the night because of her heavy jittering, she felt a terrible sexual drive and a bad burning in her lower abdomen over the pubis and on the inner surface of her thighs. She could not sleep any more. The arousal, which appeared in the night, did not leave her till the morning and remained during the whole day, but then became weakening. She was treated by different medical specialists. Though some weakening of her symptoms was achieved, she failed to get rid of the disorder, which developed in her. As a result of our analysis we supposed its cerebrovascular genesis, which impacted on functions of the brain. As a weighty contributing factor we regarded her long-term distress caused by a manifested psychological trauma (the death of the person who was extremely significant for the patient). Our treatment (hypnosuggestive therapy, Sonapax, Hydazepam, irrigation of the pubis with 10% Lidocaine aerosol), where hypnosis was the main component (its 10 sessions were performed), resulted in complete disappearance of the symptoms. The interview performed 5 years after the end of the treatment demonstrated persistence and duration of the obtained results. The presented clinical case is not very bright, but this fact can be explained to a great extent by the patient’s age that excluded appearance of a number of phenomena typical for PGAD/ReGS.

The author submitted a report on this to the Cincinnati Medical Society. He examines separately 3 different epochs of a woman's life: 1) the period of virginity, 2) the full development of sexual life, and 3) fading (climacterium). In the 1st, indications for examination are rare. However, the shortcomings of the development of the sexual organs in a girl preparing to marry her husband require the study of such a girl. Dizmenorrhea, which is not inferior to the general treatment or constant pain in the lower abdomen - also give the right to examine the girl. In America, checkup in the 1st is given under anesthesia to avoid pain and mental shock.

This case study is about the efficacy of Homoeopathic medicines in treating the infertility caused due to Uterine Fibroid, which is a most common pelvic tumor in women. Day by day, case of uterine Fibroids are increasing, where they are causing difficulty in conceive or leading to miscarriages. Lower abdominal pain, irregular menstruation and abnormal uterine bleeding are other common symptoms. While conventional medicine does not offer any satisfactory treatment except surgical removal of Myomas (Myomectomy) or in extreme condition, complete removal of Uterus (hysterectomy), Homoeopathy is a good alternative for the treatment of Myomas. At, Care 'N' Cure Homoeopathic Health center, Delhi, we have treated and still treating many cases of uterine fibroids by homoeopathic medicines for last more than 13 years. Out of them, around 70% have shown very good results. Most of them were referred for surgery by other doctors, but well selected homoeopathic medicine and proper counseling, leads the complete disappearance of fibroids. Duration of treatment varied from case to case depending on the size and total numbers of Myomas. Outcome of our study on uterine fibroid is very encouraging. Some of the patients who were childless due to large and multiple uterine fibroid got conceived with the help of homoeopathy. These results are very encouraging and giving us the more confidence to work in the field of infertility

Calcifying fibrous tumor synonymous with calcifying fibrous pseudotumor is a rare benign mesenchymal tumor, recently been described in soft tissues. It is believed to be a true neoplasm with a tendency for nondestructive local recurrence. It presents as a single or multifocal well circumscribed but unencapsulated mass with variable size and may infiltrate into surrounding tissue. It is characterized histologically by hyalinized collagenous fibrous tissue, with bland spindle cells, psammomatous or dystrophic calcifications, and focal lymphoplasmacytic infiltrate. We present a rare case of multifocal calcifying fibrous tumors in retroperitoneum and in right adnexa in a 32-year-old female patient who presenting with pain in left lower abdomen. Imaging revealed large calcified solid mass lesion in right posterior para-renal space infiltrating into segment VI of liver and a similar smaller calcified mass in right adnexa which was confused with malignancy.JCMS Nepal. 2016;12(2):78-8.
